전래동요 그림책 일러스트레이션에 나타난 유희의 상징적 표상 분석

전래동요의 리듬과 스토리의 체험은 유아뿐만 아니라 어린 시절을 겪은 성인들에게도 정말 중요한 것이다. 동요는 유아에게 아름다움을 깨닫게 해주는 심미적인 경험을 주기도 하고, 즐거움과 감동을 느끼면서 내면의 정신세계를 변화시켜 나가는데 영향력을 미치기 때문이다. 전래동요는 표현 양상 속에서 언어유희를 즐기는 것과 동작유희를 즐기는 것으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 융의 사물의 상징성과 공간의 상징성을 바탕으로 이러한 다양성이 전래동요를 살아있는 놀이하는 아동의 정체성을 알아갈 수 있다. 또한 사물의 특성을 깨닫게 하는데 도움을 주고 있다. 전래동요는 언어와 동작의 활동이다. 그러한 활동을 표상활동으로 보고 표상활동의 한축인 그림책 일러스트레이션으로 나타내는 것을 연구하는 것은 중요한 시사점이 있다. 그림책에서의 일러스트레이션으로 나타낸 그림책은 한정적이다. 전래동요 안의 유희와 상징을 찾아가는 과정은 어린이가 커서 훗날 어른으로 성장하였을 때 많은 영향을 끼치기 때문에 전래동요를 분석하려는 노력이 필요할 때이다.
