      • Angiolymphoid Hyperplasia with Eosinophilia 1예

        The authors present a case of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia(AHE) in a 22 year-old man. The patient showed two large plaques and two nodules on his trunk and left arm with peripheral blood eosinophilia. Microscopically there were proliferations of blood vessels and infiltrations of lymphocytes and eosinophils with prominent lymphoid follicles in the subcutaneous tissue. The authors reviewed 54 cases of AHE reported in literatures and suggested that AHE can be classified under two groups, dermal type and subcutaneous type. The dermal type, total 29 cases, occurred commonly in female, generally small in size, rarely showed lymphoid follicles and didn't involve lymph nodes. The subcutaneous type, total 25 cases, occurred usually in male, generally large in size, usually showed lymphoid follicles and involved lymph nodes in about a half of the cases.

        In this study, we proposed high efficiency wind power generator system for induction generator used SVPWM swiching inverter. First, we propose equivalient circuit for induction generator, it's characteristics equation, and power equation of slip. In addition, we suggest pick Power Traction Slip control methods, adapted variable wind power system. We study simulation result for the proposed system and output power by slip effect. and we identify SVPWM of suitable wind power system by comparison between SPWM and SVPWM Consequently, we show tat the system control result form variable wind power is suitable.

        유색미 겨 추출물의 염증반응 억제활성

        of the extracts from bran part of the pigmented rices on inflammation was evaluated by determining their inhibitory action on the production of nitric oxides, histamines and matrix metalloproteinase(MMP) from inflammatory leukocytes. Effects on the production of nitric oxides in a macrophage cell line, RAW264.7 cells, were determined, demonstrating that any significant difference was not detected between the normal rice and the pigmented rice extracts. Inhibitory effects on the histamine-release from a basophilic cell line, RBL-2H3, were examined, showing 3.6 to 5.4-fold increase in the inhibitory activity compared to that of the normal rices. Among the pigmented rice cultivars tested, especially, inhibitory activity of LK1-3-6-12-1-1 was the greatest. Using RAW264.7 cells, we examined the effect of the pigmented rice extracts on the MMP activity. The results showed that the enzyme activity increased with the increasing concentration of the normal rice extract. However, the pigmented rice extracts, except LK1A-2-12-1-1, acted to decrease the MMP activity with their increasing concentrations. The results described above showed the superiority of the pigmented rice extracts in inhibition on release of histamine and MMP, pivotal factors for causing inflammatory responses, from the leukocytes.

        A 58 year-old man had chronic severely pruritic purulent blisters on the skin with widespread distribution. Clinical and histopathological findings were consistent with the diagnosis of subcorneal pustular dermatosis. Both dapsone and prednisolone were effective for the control of the disease.

      • 닭고기가 습진성 피부염에 미치는 영향

        우리나라에 피부질환이 있을 때 몇몇 음식물을 금기 해야 한다는 사상은 보편화 되어 있는 것 같다. 피부 질환이 있을 때 금기해야되는 대표적인 식품은 닭, 돼지고기로 생각된다. 저자들이 알기에는 피부염의 경과에 이상의 특정식품이 미치는 영향을 과학적으로 시행한 관찰을 찾아 보기 어려웠다. 피부염의 경과에 미치는 닭고기의 영향을 동일한 조건하에서 비교하기 위해 저자들은 7명의 정상인 지원자 전박부에 DNCB갑작법으로 같은 정도의 습진성 피부염을 유발시켜 3군으로 나누었다. 1군(A-1)은 피부염의 경과중 매일 닭고기를 섭취하였다. 2군(A-2)은 피부염 발생 5일 후에 닭고기 섭취를 중지하였다. 3군(B)은 피부염 경과중 닭고기를 금기하였다. 실험중 지원자가 섭취한 닭고기를 제외한 식품은 동일하였으며 식품이외의 다른 생활조건도 같게 하였다. 피부염의 정도는 임상병변 관찰과 병변부 피부온도 측정으로 비교하였다. 저자들은 세 군간에 피부염의 경과에 유의한 차이를 발전하지 못하였다. The idea that certain foods must be prohibited at the time of cutaneous disease has been prevalent in Korea. The most important foods they avoid during the skin disease seem to be chicken and pork. To the best of our konwledge there is no scientific observation to prove or to disapprove the effect of the specific foods in the course of the dermatitis. To evaluate the effect of the chicken on the process of dermatitis authors had seven normal volunteers dvelop same eczematous dermatitis on their foreams by DNCB sensitization method and divided them into three groups. The fist group(A-1) continued daily intake of dietary chicken through the course of the dermatitis. The second group(A-2) ceased the intake of the chicken the fifth day after the initiation of the dermatitis. The third group(B) didn't take the chicken through the course of the dermatitis. The other foods they took during the experiment were adjusted all alike with other physical and living conditions. The degree of the dermatitis was measured by clinical standards and skin temperature records of the lesions. Authors found no significant difference in the course of the dermatitis among the three groups.

        호염구세포주와 복강 비만세포에서 유색미 겨 추출물의알레르기 염증 억제활성

        The effects of the extracts from the bran part of pigmented rices on inflammation was evaluated by determining their inhibitory action on the histamine and β-hexosaminidase release, together with inflammatory cytokine productions (IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-6). Examination of the inhibitory effects on the histamine and β-hexosaminidase release from a basophilic cell line RBL-2H3 cells and rat peritoneal mast cells (RPMC) showed that the pigmented rice extract inhibited these inflammation-mediating substances (10.19% and 110.03% inhibition in histamine and β-hexosaminidase release, respectively), while normal brown rice extract rather increased their release.For RPMC, the pigmented rice extract was found to have 8 or 3-fold stronger inhibitory activity than normal brown rice toward histamine or β-hexosaminidase release, respectively. Expression of IL-1β, TNF-α and IL-6 was measured as the representative inflammatory cytokine species showed that the pigmented rice extract had a higher inhibitory activity than the normal rice counterpart.ELISA analysis for determining cytokine release demonstrated a more effective blockading ability of the pigmented rice to the release of IL-β, TNF-α and IL-6 compared to normal rice. These results showed us the superiority of the pigmented rice bran extract not only in suppressing the release of inflammation-mediating substances such as histamine and β-hexosaminidase, but also in repression of the inflammatory cytokine expression. 유색미 겨 추출물이 염증반응에 미치는 효과를 호중구 세포주 및 비만세포가 분비하는 염증매개물질인 histamine과 β-hexosaminidase의 분비 및 염증 cytokine 생성에 대한 억제활성을 측정하여 평가하였다. 호중구 세포주인 RBL-2H3 세포와 rat에서 분리·추출한 복강 비만세포(RPMC, peritoneal mast cell)를 이용하여 histamine과 β-hexosaminidase 분비에 대한 억제활성을 조사한 결과, 일반미 겨 추출물은 RBL-2H3 세포에서 염증매개물질들의 분비량을 증가시킨 반면, 유색미 겨 추출물은 이들의 분비를 억제하였다(histamine 10.19% 억제, β-hexosaminidase 110.03% 억제). RPMC에서는 유색미가 histamine과 β-hexosaminidase의 분비를 일반미보다 각각 8배와 3배나 높게 억제하는 것으로 나타났다. 염증관련 cytokine으로서 IL-1β, TNF-α 및 IL-6의 발현을 RT-PCR로 측정한 결과, 유색미가 일반미 보다 TNF-α, IL-1β 및 IL-6의 발현을 억제하는 효과가 우수하였다. ELISA를 이용하여 cytokine의 분비량을 측정한 실험에서 도 유색미가 일반미보다 TNF-α, IL-1β 및 IL-6의 분비를 효과적으로 억제하였다. 이상의 결과는 유색미가 염증반응의 원인물질인 histamine과 β-hexosaminidase의 분비에 대한 억제효과뿐 아니라, 염증 cytokine의 발현을 저해하는 효과도 일반미보다 우수하다는 사실을 보여주었다.
