Alzheimer's disease(AD) is progressive neurodegenerative disease, which is pathologically characterized by neuritic plaques and neurofibrillary tangles associated with the acetylcholinesterase, apolipoprotein E and butylcholinesterase, and by mutations in the presenilin genes PSI and PS2, and amyloid precursor proteins (APP) overexpression. The present research is to examine the inhibition effect of YJJHT on PS-1, PS-2 and APP overexpression by detected to Western blotting. To verify the EFFects of YJJHT on cognitive deficits further, we tested it on the scopolamine-induced amnesia model of the mice using the Morris water maze tests. and there was ameliorative effects of memory impairment s a protection to scopolamine. YJJHT only partially blocked the increase in blood serum level of acetylcholinesterase and Uric acid induced by scopolamine. whereas blood glucose level was shown to attenuate the amnesia induced by scopolamine and inreased extracellular serum level compared with only scopolamine injection. In conclusion, studies of YJJHT that has been know as anti-choline and inhibition ablilities of APP overexpression, this could also be used further as a important research data for a preventive and promising symptomatic treatment for Alzheimer's disease.

Literatural study for jungkijeung(中氣證), the results were as follows. 1. Jungkijueng(中氣證) is the reverse movement of spiritual streams for the mental shocks as an excessive extultation, a sudden anger and so on. Jungkijueng(中氣證) is similar to conversion disorder in the western medical world. 2. The causes of Jungkijueng(中氣證) are the serious anger and the reverse movement of spirits by the seven emotional factor(七情) and internal damage(內傷). In the western medical world, Jungkijueng(中氣證) is associated with anxious exterior condition. 3. The main symptoms of Jungkijueng(中氣證) are to fall to the ground suddenly, set his teeth, fail to recognize a person, chill, and twist his hands and feet like the conversion and sense disorder. 4. The treatment of Jungkijueng(中氣證) is that Sohaphangwon(蘇合香元), A drug is used for the spiritual streams and then drugs to control the spirits smoothly is applied. In the western medical world, A sedative is used or mental theraphy is performed for a well-balanced mind.

Literatural study for Delirious speech and Fading murmuring, the results were as follows. 1. Delirious speech and Fading murmuring are given at the speech impediment. Derious speech to be out of language's order and slur the end of his words, and Fading murmuring is to repeat in losing conscious. 2. In constrast with Derlirious speech and Fading murmuring, Maniac speech is induced by a general term for manic-depressive psychosis. Luoyan is to say in a feeble voice and mumble in a sleeping impediment is caused by damages of the nervous system and speech organ, and Yuyangcuoluan is appeared in a feverless condition. 3. The symptoms of Delirious speech are to utter ravings and have a loud and heavy voice, and these resemble the delirium which specially has a speech impediment and muddle in the western medical world. The symptoms of Fading murmuring are to speak ambigously, repeatedly, and illogically and so are similar to the Wernicke dysphasia which is caused by a incomprehensible conversation. 4. The causes of Delirious speech are to spread a stomach heat and the lungs pathogenic qi into heart, not to sweat in cold damage, the Three Yang combination of syndrome, stomach repletion, yang collapse due to excessive sweat, diarrhea, after diarrhea, heat to enter the blood chamer, feces to remain in the stomach, stasis blood to enter the viscera, to carry anger to extremity, and to be constipated. the cause of Fading murmuring is to despair vacuity desertion of vital essence and energy after a serious illness. 5. The causes of delirium are general infection, postoperative states, and metabolism disorders and those of Wernicke dysphasia are disorders of the blood vessel, brain tumors and traumas. 6. Delirious speech is cured with the discrimination of vacuity and repleion. Baitong Tang(白通湯), Chaihu Guizhi Tang(柴胡桂枝湯), Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Tang(柴胡加龍骨????湯) are prescribed in case of vacuity, while Chengqi Tang(承氣湯), Baihu Tang(白虎湯), Liangge San(凉??散) are in case of repletion. Fading murmuring is treated with Xiao Chaihu Tang(小??胡湯), Fuzi Tang Jiawei(附子湯加味), Shengmai San(生脈散), Renshen Sanbai Tang(人蔘??白湯). 7.To acupuncture Qimen-Xue(期門血) is required when it is late to prescribe a medical decoction or the hyperactive liver qi attack the spleen.

The clinical study was carried out the 41 patients with conversion disorder who were treated in Dae Jeon University Oriental Hospital from 26 september 1998 to 21 september 2000. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The ratio of male and female was 4:37 and in the age distribution, the highest frequence was 40s, in descending order over 50s, 30s, 20s, 10s and mental attack was the most inducing factor. 2. In distribution of the period of the clinical history. within one day was the highest percentage and in admission period most of the patients were from four days to seven days. 3. In symptoms and signs, physical symptoms were more than mental symptoms, physical symptoms had many muscle-skeleton-system symptoms and they were in descending order general body weakness. headache, anorexia, chest discomfort, dyspepsia, dizziness, four extremities numbness, insomnia, dysarthria, anxiety, four extremities tremor. palpitation. nausea, vomiting, facial numbness. 4. In classification of Four Human coporeal constitution the number of patients, Sho-Eum-In(少陰人) was remarked mostly and most of female patients had no past history of the conversion disorder. 5. In distribution of the prescription, drugs of regulating gi such as BUNSIMGIEUM(分心氣飮) were many, in descending order drugs of growing heart and warming gall bladder such as ONDAMTANGGAMI(溫膽湯加味), drugs of maintaining petency for the flow of gi such as CHUNGGANSOYOSAN(淸肝逍遙散), drugs of decomposing food and asending gi such as PYUNGJINGUNBITANG(平陳歸脾湯), drugs of removing sputum and cooling heart such as CHUNGSIMDODAMTANG 淸心導痰湯). 6. In distribution of the treatments, the group of drug and acupuncture and aroma-therapy was many, in acup uncture TAEGUKCHIMBUP(太極針法) was mainly used. in therapy inhalation type of Lavender and Rosewood was many and the type of Peppermint and Rosemary massaging epigastric-chest, and neck was many. 7. In distribution of the treatment result, in 15 patients(36.6%) symptoms were eliminated from four to seven days, in 13 patients(31.7%) symptoms were not changed. in 12 patients(29.3%) symptoms were eliminated from two to three days. in 1 patients(2.4%) symptoms were eliminated whin one day.
