본 연구는 선수들의 스포츠 탈퇴를 동기화하는 인지, 정서, 상황적 요인들의 구조를 확인하고, 선수들의 스포츠탈퇴를 예측할 수 있는 측정도구를 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 689명의 개인, 단체종목 선수를 대상으로 스포츠 탈퇴동기의 내적 구조 타당성을 검토하였으며, 전반적인 탈퇴의도와의 다차원적 관계를 검증하였다. 분석 결과, 스포츠 탈퇴동기는 흥미상실, 과훈련, 자신감 상실, 가정환경, 진로불안, 학업부진의 6개 요인으로 나타났으며, 이는 개인내적 요인과 환경외적 요인의 2개의 위계적 구조로 나타났다. 또한, 여자선수가 남자선수에 비해 전반적인 탈퇴동기 수준이 높고 학교 급에 따라 탈퇴동기의 차이를 보인다는 사실을 확인하였다. 이와 더불어, 탈퇴동기의 하위 요인 중 흥미 상실과 자신감 상실 정도는 선수들의 전반적인 탈퇴의도를 예측하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 스포츠 탈퇴동기 척도가 운동선수들의 탈퇴동기를 예측할 수 있는 안정적인 변수임을 확인하였다. This study was to identify the structure of sports drop-out of athletes considering cognition, emotion and situational motivation, and to develop the measurement of sport drop-out motivation. For this, the validity of internal structure and relationship with overall drop-out intention were examined by targeting 689 individuals and team athletes. The results were as follows: Sports drop-out motivation was verified two hierarchical structure. One is individual internal factor including loss of interest, overtraining, loss of confidence, the other is environmental external factor including home environment, career anxiety, academic slump. The female players have higher drop-out motivation level than male players, and the drop-out motivation was shown the difference by level of school. Also, loss of interest and confidence weres to predict overall drop-out intention well. Therefore, this study was found this measurement was able to reliably predict drop-out motivation among players.

본 연구는 지각된 코치-선수 부합정도와 심리적 욕구만족의 관계를 검증하고자 하였으며, 부수적으로 선수가 지각하는 유능감 수준에 따라 두 변인 간의 관계가 다르게 나타나는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 씨름선수 197명을 대상으로 코치-선수의 부합, 심리욕구 만족, 유능감 수준에 대한 반응을 수집하였다. 분석 결과, 전반적으로 코치-선수 부합은 심리적 욕구만족에 영향을 미쳤다. 특히, 기술훈련방식과 성격특성이 코치와 부합된다고 느낄수록 선수들의 유능성 욕구와 관계성 욕구만족도가 높았다. 아울러, 유능감 수준은 코치-선수 부합 지각에 영향을 미쳤으며, 부분적으로 코치-선수 부합과 심리적 욕구만족 관계성을 조절하는 것으로 발견되었다. 이러한 결과는 자결성 이론을 토대로 코치-선수 부합의 심리적 과정 반응 측면에서 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to verify relationship between perceived coach-athlete fit and psychological needs satisfaction. Additionally, this study was conducted to examine whether there was significant difference between both variables in accordance with competence level that athletes perceive. For this, we collected responses about coach-athlete fit, basic psychological needs satisfaction, and perceived competence level from 197 Ssireum(Korean traditional wrestling) players. The result of analysis, coach-athlete fit generally had impact on psychological needs satisfaction. Specially, as athletes felt that their skill training method and characteristic trait were coincided with their coach, level of athletes` competence and relationship needs satisfaction were high. Futhermore, competence level influenced on perception of coach and athlete fit, partly because it moderated relationship between coach-athlete fit and psychological needs satisfaction. These results were discussed in terms of coach-athlete behavior fit of psychological process response based on Self-Determination Theory(SDT).
