Since May 2003, On-line test to validate the interface between electrified conventional track, rolling stock, power supply and signalling system. Main test items are the suitability of the system such as vibration of the rolling stock, noise, current collection, track and signal system. In this article, part of the vibration and noise related test results are introduced such as the vibration of the carbody and bogie, running stability, jerk, interior noise of the passenger car and driver"s cabin.

유럽은 2008년 철도시스템 상호운영지침을 개정하고, 2014년 고속철도와 일반철도를 통합한 기관차 및 객차에 대한 TSI를 제정하였다. 국내의 경우 2012년 12월 철도안전법이 전면 개정되며 철도차량과 용품의 형식승인제도가 운영 중에 있으며, 철도차량의 형식승인제도는 형식승인, 제작자승인, 완성검사의 3 단계로 이루어진다. 유럽의 TSI 인증 체계를 소개하며, 국내 형식승인제도와 비교한다. The European Community Revised the Interoperability directive in 2008 and legislate the Technical specification for interoperability to locomotives and passenger rolling stock’ subsystem in 2014. The MLIT of Korean government wholly amended the Railroad safety act in 2012, and enforced the type approval system for the rolling stock. The type approval scheme is composed of type approval scheme for rolling stock, manufacturer approval for rolling stock and completion inspection of rolling stock. The TSI certification system is introduced and compared with type approval system.

Current collection performance on-line tests for a Korean High Speed Train being developed in G7 project is scheduled to start in June, 2002. In this paper, preparatory efforts for measuring contact forces which is regarded as one of major measuring items in the test are introduced. Specifically speaking, review of frequencies related with contact force fluctuations, brief of contact force measuring algorithm, review of measuring instrument specifications and development of a data acquisition program are presented.

The elasticity of the contact wire is one of important static parameters for the catenary system. This paper presents how to analyse the elasticity of the catenary system using both simple string model method and finite element method with their formula. Analysis results obtained by these two methods for KTX catenary system are compared. A measurement of the elasticity for the KTX catenary under construction which is located near Kumkang bridge is made for the comparison with the analysis results. Both a dynamic and a static methods are tried for the measurement. Because of wave propagation, the dynamic method with 5 ㎞/h running presented an asymmetric variational pattern of the elasticity while the static method presented a symmetric pattern of the elasticity in the span. Measured elasticity using the static method is found to be a little higher than the analysis results. But, the static method can presented us a variational pattern of the elasticity in the span similar to the analysed results. Therefore, the static method can be used for evaluating the elasticity of the catenary system.

In this paper, we introduce the on-line test plan of high speed rail development, which will be carried out at the test section of Seoul-Pusan high speed line from May to October, 2002. The test items are decided focused on the verification of the perofrmace and acquirement of the technical data of the high speed rail system development. The running time and distance of the train are calculated for several limited maximum speed cases. The detailed test scenario shall be developed according to the process of development and design of the system.
200 ㎞/h급 전차선로 구조강도 설계기준에 관한 기술적 검토

??In this study, a comparison between the structural design criteria for a catenary system with the maximum design speed of 100km/h and that of 300km/h was performed in order to establish that of 200km/h. According to the result, catenary design criteria for 300km/h operation is more conservative than that for l00km/h operation. This result shows that higher wind pressure and safety factor are adopted to catenary design for 300km/h operation. So, for the purpose of the economic structural design for catenary system, it is necessary to review the adoption possibility of catenary system for 100km/h operation first, In order to review the adoption possibility for catenary system for l00km/h operation, design criteria for 300km/h operation should be chosen for safer catenary structure.
