대학 야구선수 타자들의 배트스피드, 정확성, 선구안과 타율과의 관련성 분석

The purpose of this study is to analyze batting-related factors and the respective batting average. Subjects include 10 baseball players curently studing in K university in D city. The 10 players were divided into two groups; 5 from the High batter group, and 5 from the Low batter group for the purpose of this research. Video analysis was used for the research of bat speed and accuracy. In total, 120 videos were created and edited for analysis, and the batters were given orders to determine the type of ball thrown, and whether the ball was a strike or not. Results showed that in comparison of the bat speed of the High batter group and the Low batter group, the bat speed of the High batter group was statistically significantly higher (p<.05). In batting accuracy, the Low batter group showed significantly higher results (p<.01). The average batting showed statistically significant relations with the T-batting maximum velocity of batting (p<.05) and the T-batting average speed (p<.01), and the Free-batting average accuracy (p<.05). TMS regression intercept (β=739) and its changes showed significant influence at the 5% statistically significant level, and the explanation of the changes of batting average resulting from changes of TMS showed R2=.546, and therefore increased the predictability by 54.6%. 운동강도별 12주간의 웨이트트레이닝이 퇴행성 무릎관절염환자의 ROM과 근기능에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of intensive exercise on range of motion and muscle function in osteoarthritis and investigate proper intensive exercise. Method: Eighteen eldery women with osteoarthritis were participated and randomly assigned to intensive exercise programme or to a conservative exercise programme during their period with a mean length for 12 weeks. Nine testees were in each group. Two exercise programme of range of motion and muscle function were assessed at 12 weeks. The results as follows: Both groups improved in measure of range of motion after exercise. Moreover, both the intensive and conservative exercise groups improved in the change of peak torque of extention muscle. In the change of peak torque of flexion muscle, a right of leg of the conservative exercise group improved and both legs were improved in intensive exercise group. Measures of Leg extention, Leg curl, Leg abduction and Leg press in 1RM improved significantly for patients in two groups. Conclusion: Exercise programme in osteoarthritis is more effective in improving range of motion and muscle function.
비만여성의 연령대별 12주간 복합운동이 신체구성과 건강관련 체력 및 혈중지질농도의 변화에 미치는 영향

This study analyzed the comparison of body composition and serum levels of lipid profiles by adult women`s age between obese and non-obese group. 59 volunteers participated as subjects in this study, and they were divided to 2 groups as obese group(n=25) over a body mass index(BMI) of 25 kg/m2 and non-obese group(n=34) less than BMI of 25 kg/m2, which was divided into four various age groups. The measured data of body composition and serum levels of lipid profiles lipids were analyzed with 3-way repeated ANOVA using SPSS. Result were as follows: There statically were significant differences between obese group and non-obese group in all age in skinfold thickness and body circumference(p<0.05). In summary, this study showed that: Body weight(BW), %Fat, BMI and Health related physical fitness were significantly (p<.05) decreased in two groups after 12 weeks. serum levels of lipid profiles was not significant between two groups. Therefore, the results of this study suggest that 12-week combined exercise program can significantly reduce the body composition and Health related physical fitness in obese women. Also these results suggest that 12-week combined exercise program may have beneficial effects lipid profiles in obese women.
태권도선수의 체급차이에 따른 단기체중감량후 신체구성의 변화

Taekwondo players perform at the lowest weight class possible in order to gain a competitive advantage. The major technique of rapid weight loss was using a combination of the dehydration, fasting, and increased exercise in taekwondo players. This study examined the changes of body composition after rapid weight loss of about 5% through dehydration and caloric restriction of 3 days. Subjects were 24 college-aged male taekwondo players, and divided to three groups as the heavy-weight (n=6: HW), light-weight (N=6: LW) and control(n = 6: CO). HW and LW group performed the rapid weight loss program of 3 days through sauna (30 min/day) and caloric restriction (18 kcal/kg/day). Body weight significantly (p<.05) decreased after rapid weight loss in HW and LW group, but percent body fat showed no significant difference. In HW group, upper arm skinfold thickness, waist, hip, thigh circumference, and in LW group, waist, thigh circumference, abdominal, supra-iliac skinfold thickness significantly (p<.05) decreased after rapid weight loss as compared to before weight loss. From these results, the rapid weight loss through dehydration and caloric restriction of 3 days showed no significant change in body composition, but reduced a preferential reduction suggested the imbalance of blood electrolytes after rapid weight loss.
8주간의 스트레칭 운동이 농촌지역 노인들의 신체구성, 기초체력, 혈압 및 혈중지질 성분에 미치는 영향

This study aimed to investigate the effect of 8week-stretching program upon physical fitness, body composition, and blood lipid component of the elderly currently living in a rural area. Thirty subjects (15 male with age 61±7, 15 female with age 63±6) without experience in regular exercise programs and currently living in C county of Gyungsangbuk-do participated in a supervised exercise program of 60 minutes, 3 times a week for 8 weeks. The program included 10 minute-walking on a treadmill and a main exercise of upper and lower body stretching. To investigate the effectiveness of the exercise program, the components of physical fitness (muscular strength and endurance, swiftness, agility, balance, flexibility), body composition (height, weight, BMI, WHR), and blood lipid component (T-C, TG, HDL, LDL) were measured before and after the program. The results showed that 8 week-stretching exercise significantly influenced weight and BMI for both male and female participants, but had no statistically significant effect on WHR. Furthermore, the participants’ hand-grip, sit-and-reach, side-step, standing on one leg with eyes closed, obstacle agility test, and sit-up scores were significantly enhanced after the exercise program. The blood lipid component, including T-C, HDL-C, LDL-C, TG, and blood pressure, were significantly decreased. This study demonstrated that 8 week-stretching exercise had positive effect upon physical fitness, body composition, and blood lipid component of the elderly in a rural area.
단기간 운동수행이 쥐의 골격근에서 지질대사 관련유전자의 mRNA 발현해석

The purpose of this study was an analysis of the effect of acute exercise performance in mRNA level expression of lipid metabolism association gene in soleus muscle of rat. Methods; Twenty male wistar rats(5 wk) were used as the subjects. They were exercised on the treadmill at 20 m/min, 20 m/min and 30 m/min for 15days. The measured data of body weight and lipid metabolism association gene were analyzed with 2-way repeated ANOVA using SPSS statistics (version 11.0). Result were as follows: Body weight (BW) were significantly (p<.05) increased in two groups after 15days. FATP was significantly(p<.05) increased in exercise group, but LPL CPT1b, FAT and FABP in two groups showed no significant change after 15days. In conclusion: 15days acute exercise improves obese indices, body weight in two groups, but there was no effects in mRNA level expression of lipid metabolism association gene in soleus muscle of rat.
남자 초등학생의 농구운동 참여에 따른 신체구성과 체력 및 혈중 변인의 비교

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of playing Basketball with the three variables being studied: Body Composition, the Physical Strength and Blood Factors. The experiment included two groups of elementary school boys. One group was assigned to play Basketball while the other group was tasked not to play Basketball. Analyses of the three major parts were done. The first part included the effects of Basketball to the Body Composition: BMI, LBM, %Fat, WHR, Circumference of the Body and Thickness of Subcutaneous Fats. The second part included the effects of Basketball to the Physical Strength: Grip Strength, Back Strength, Sit-ups, Physical Efficiency Index, Standing Jump and Sit & Reach. The third part analysed the effects of Basketball to Blood Factors: Insulin, AST, ALT, Glucose, TC, HDL-C, TG, LDL-C and HOMA. The results are as follows: 1. WHR and the Thickness of Thigh of Body Composition were significantly decreased (p<.05) in the group of boys who regularly participated in playing Basketball. 2. Back Strength and Standing Jump of Physical Strength were significantly increased (p<.05) for the group of boys who played Basketball. 3. Glucose, TC and LDL-C levels of Blood Factors were significantly decreased (p<.05) in the group of boys who regularly participated in playing Basketball. Therefore, it has been concluded that playing Basketball regularly influenced the elementary school boys` growth and other health-related factors.
