실시간 시스템을 위한 Statechart에서의 동작 우선순위 기법

Statechart는 기존 상태추이도를 확장한 것으로서, 반응시스템을 명세하기 위해 제안된 가시적 정형기법이다. 그러나 statechart에서의 비결정성은 실시간 시스템에서의 예측가능성에 심각한 문제를 유발할 수 있다. 또한, 이를 해결하기 위한 기존의 우선순위 표현방법은 statechart의 비결정성을 완전히 해결하지 못하고 있을 뿐 아니라 실시간 시스템에서 요구하는 다양하고 동적인 우선순위 변화를 표현하기 부적합하다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 미리 예측가능하고 동적으로 우선순위를 변화시킬 수 있는 동적 우선순위 개념을 제안하다.

실시간 어플리케이션의 시간제약성을 예측하기 위해서는 우선순위 계승 프로토콜(priority inheritance protocol)을 이용하여 우선순위 반전 문제(priority inversion problem)를 해결하여야 한다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 시스템의 오버헤드에 영향을 끼치지 않으면서 서버에 대한 보다 나은 선점가능성을 제공할 수 있는 실시간 서버 모델이 필요하다. 그러나 기존 시스템의 실시간 서버 모델은 높은 선점가능성과 낮은 오버헤드간의 트레이드오프를 해결하지 못하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결한 연관 우선순위 작업자 모델(Associative prioritized worker model)을 설계하였다.
림프종 환자에서의 갈륨, Tl-201 그리고 Tc-99m MIBI 섭취의 비교

Purpose: Ga-67 scintigraphy has been used for the evaluation of tumors, especially lymphoma. Recently, Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI were also used to tumor imaging. Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI had better physiologic characteristics than Ga-67, so we studied 32 biopsy proven lymphoma patients (male 24, female 8, mean age 46 years) with Ga-67, Tl-201 or Tc-99m MIBI and compared the scan findings. Materials and Methods: Twenty-three of 32 patients were injected 74-111 MBq (2-3 mCi) of Tl-201, before chemotherapy and imaged with dual-headed SPECT (Prism 2000, Picker, USA) at 30 minutes after injection. Delayed images were obtained after 3 hr in 8 patients. Twenty seven of 32 patients were injected 740 MBq (20 mCi) of Tc-99m MIBI and imaged at 30 minutes after injection. 111-185 MBq (3-5 mCi) of Ga-67 was injected in 12 patients and imaged at 48 and 72 hours after injection. Twenty eight patients were diagnosed as non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma and others were Hodgkin`s lymphoma. Results: Twenty patients were positive on Tl-201 scan and 3 patients showed negative findings. One of these 3 patients, Tc-99m MIBI and Ga-67 scan were positive. Twenty two patients were positive on Tc-99m MIBI scan and 5 patients showed negative findings. One of these 5 patients, Tl-201 was positive and 2 were positive on Ga-67 scan. Ten of 12 patients showed positive findings on Ga-67 scan. The sensitivity of these agents were 83.3%, 87.0% and 81.5% for Ga-67, Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI, respectively. The sensitivity was highest in Tl-201 scan, but there were no significant differences among three tests. In this study, there was no significant difference of uptake ratios between early and delayed images of Tl-201. Conclusion: Scintigraphy with Tl-201 and Tc-99m MIBI in lymphoma patients have similar sensitivity with Ga-67.
중족부에 발생한 Mycobacterium abscessus 골수염

Non-tuberculous mycobacterium has a wide-spread occurrence in nature, and skin, soft tissue, bone, lung and disseminated infection can be involved. Non-tuberculous mycobacterium infection occurs both in immunocompetent patients without underlying diseases and in immunocompromised hosts. Non-tuberculous mycobactrial osteomyelitis is a rare cause of granulomatous osteomyelitis, and has been previously reported in the sternum, spine, humerus, femur, tibia or metatarsal. Mycobacterium abscessus osteomyelitis is a very rare infection in the foot and only 1 case has been reported. Authors report a case of Mycobacterium abscessus osteomyelitis involving the tarsal and metatarsal bones in a non-immunocompromized middle aged women.

Purpose: The authors have experienced various lesions that simulate ganglion of the foot on the ultrasonography. The purpose of this study is to evaluate ultrasonographic findings of soft tissue lesions, which were interpreted as ganglion but confirmed as different lesions in the foot. Materials and Methods: We reviewed a database of patients with ganglion on the ultrasonography from two different institutions. There were 109 patients who underwent both ultrasonography and surgical confirmation. Twenty one lesions were identified, of which initial interpretation on the ultrasonography included ganglion which pathology revealed to be different lesions. All images were evaluated by one musculoskeletal radiologist, regarding size, margins, internal echogenicity of lesions, and presence of posterior enhancement. Results: Of 21 lesions, there were 6 fibrous tumors including fibroma, giant cell tumor of tendon sheath, and fibromatosis, 3 hemangiomas, 2 epidermal inclusion cysts, 2 chondromas, 2 angioleiomyomas, 1 trichilemal cyst, 1 neurofibroma, 1 granular cell tumor, 1 neurilemmoma, 1 neuromyxoma, and 1 nodular hidradenoma. Mean size of the lesion was 1.1 cm. Margins were smooth in 10, mild lobulation in 8 and marked lobulation in 3 lesions. Lesions were hypoechoic in 16, anechoic in 4 and isoechoic in 1 case. Posterior acoustic enhancement was definitely present in 5 lesions. Conclusion: On the ultrasonography, various soft tissue lesions of the foot may be confused with ganglion. During surgical resection care should be given even to a simple ganglion as it might turn up to be a solid lesions such as fibrous tumors.
