The purpose of this study is find the awareness toward consumer rights and responsibilities among Korean, Chinese, Chinese in Korea university students. Questionnaire survey was conducted during 7 to 21 July 2013, and 300 university students(100 Korean, 100 Chinese, 100 Chinese in Korea) were selected. Major findings were as follows. First, university students’ awareness toward consumer rights showed 4.0(out of 5.0 Likert scale) and no differences among three groups. And the right to educate was found to be the lowest level. Second, university students’ awareness toward consumer responsibilities showed 3.63(out of 5.0 Likert scale) and ‘the responsibility of consumer ethics’ was found to be the highest level(3.76), whereas ‘the responsibility of trying to get compensation for consumer damages’ was found to be the lowest level. Further, Korean(3.72) and Chinese(3.71) university students’ awareness toward consumer responsibilities showed higher levels than Chinese university students who were studying in Korea(3.39). Third, university students’ awareness toward consumer rights showed higher level than the responsibilities.
