기업은 지속적 경쟁우위 창출을 위해 ERP를 도입하였으나, ERP 활용수준은 기업의 특성에 따라 상이하고, 경영성과 창출에 대한 기여도 역시 다양하다. 동남권 자동차 부품협력업체를 대상으로 ERP 영향요인, ERP 활용수준 및 경영성과간의 관계를 파악하였다. 특히 ERP 영향요인이 경영성과에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 ERP 활용수준이 매개역할을 수행하는지를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서는 기술혁신 틀을 적용하여 ERP 영향요인을 환경, 조직, 기술로 분류하였고, ERP 활용수준을 기능내, 기능간, 기업내, 기업간으로 구분하였다. 이들 영향요인 및 활용수준과 ERP 경영성과와의 관련성을 분석하기 위하여 SmartPLS 구조방정식 모델로 실증분석 하였다. 연구 결과 ERP 영향요인 중 조직특성과 기술특성이 ERP 활용수준에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. ERP 경영성과에는 기술특성, 조직특성, 환경특성 순으로 영향력이 있으며, ERP 활용수준은 ERP 경영성과에 영향력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 조직 및 기술특성은 ERP 활용수준을 통해 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되어, ERP 활용수준은 ERP 영향요인이 경영성과에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 매개역할을 수행함을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 ERP를 통하여 경영성과를 개선하기 위해서는 기술, 조직, 환경 차원의 영향요인과 함께 ERP 활용수준이 매우 중요하다는 시사점을 얻었다. We examine the mediating role of ERP utilization level(UTL) between environmental context(ENC), organizational context(ORC) and technical context(TEC) in the context of automotive parts suppliers, which are located in the Dong-Nam region. We suggested five major hypotheses: Firstly, envhad an impact on UTL and the business performance(BP). Secondly, ORC had an impact on UTL and BP. Thirdly, TEC had an impact on UTL and BP. Fourthly, UTL had positive impact on BP. Fifthly, UTL had an mediating role in the relationship linking three corporate factors(ENC, ORC, TEC) and BP. The research results significantly contribute to enriching: While the first and the fifth hypothesis were partly accepted, others were fully accepted. ENC didn"t have a positive impact on UTL and BP through UTL. We found ORC and TEC had a positive impact on UTL and BP through UTL. Therefore UTL also had a strong meditating influence on BP. Furthermore, this research will be helpful for the mother companies to accomplish sustainable success for their suppliers informatization. Finally, we discuss theoretical and managerial implications of the findings and suggest future research directions.
