The purpose of this study is to understand plans and improved states about spatial composition and area variation in interior spaces before and after remodeling of university library and to suggest effective plan through problem analysis of improved details in existing interior spaces and evaluation of problems and alternatives about improved details when library remodeling and new construction is performed.Therefore, when remodeling of university library is planed, effective space planning has to be set up to fulfill interior spatial function thoroughly according to information environment considering the relationship between its users and operators, the programming spatial performance and the elements of spatial composition such as hierarchy, interrelationship and simple maintenance

It is the purpose of this study to suggest the direction of remodeling planning by analyzing the satisfaction index of users and administrators according to the result of performance improvement with information policy for a background.In user's position, it is an important point to give priority to improve the facilities related to using library such as information facilities, indoor illumination, HVAC, main lobby and exit etc., because user's satisfaction index appears highly in the improvement of physical performance in the environment of library.In administrator's position, it is an important point to give priority to improve the system and connection of administration affairs and services because administrator's satisfaction index appears highly in the compacted layout planning according to administration system, the efficiency if maintenance.
[특집] 보스톤 도시재개발과정에서 도시건축의 공공성을 확립하는 4가지 요소에 대하여

이 글을 통하여 보스턴(이하 Boston) 시의 도시재개발 사업에서 도시건축의 공공성 확보를 위한 노력과 과정을 소개하고자 한다. Boston에서 도시건축의 공공성(Public Realm)은 개발영향 평가와 협의과정에의 공공의 참여 보장. 개발에 따르는 그림자, 소음, 바람, 대기오염도, 교통량증가 또는 기존 지역 교통에 대한 영향 등을 감소시키기 위한 대안 등이 지역주민과 합께 협의된다. 도시개발에 따른 공공의 혜택. 개발주변의 도시거리개선(Streetscape Improvement), 공원 또는 녹지공간 제공과 공공의 접근성 보장, 개발되어 지는 건축물의 공공의 친밀성 보장, 저임금주택확보와 직업훈련을 위한 재원 제공 등을 통하여 구체화되어진다. <br/> 도시건축의 공공성 확보를 위한 중요한 요인으로서 개발계획의 평가와 심사과정을 관리 규정하는 제도적 장치들, 공공부문의 건축가들의 역할, 그리고 공공의 적극적인 참여와 의사반영 등을 보장하는 규정 등을 지적하고자 한다. <br/> 전반적인 도시재개발을 관리하는 Boston Redevelopment Authority, 심의 내용과 과정을 규정하는 제도적인 장치로서 Article 80 of the Boston Zoning Code, 개발계획의 질적인 측면에 관여하는 공공 건축가들, 그리고 도시환경에서 사용자인 공공의 참여 등이 Boston 도시재개발 계획과 실행과정에서 도시건축의 공공성을 확보하는 핵심적인 역할을 하는 4 요소들로서 규정되어질 수 있다.<br/> (본문중에서)

In this experimental program specimens, designed by the test varibles, such as with or without stirrup and percent of steel fiber incorporated, were constructed and tested to eveluate the structural performance of reinforced steel fiber concrete beam. Based on the test results reported in this study, the following conclusions are made. Comparing with the crack widths of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams during the loading of same level, the higher the percent of steel fiber incorporated, the less the crack width. When steel was reached at yielding point, the crack width of specimen BSFS2.0 and BSS was 0.07mm, 0.19mm respectively due to the crack control effect of steel fiber. Increasing the percent of steel fiber incorporated(0.5%~2.0%), the flexural strength of each specimen was showed the enhancement of 13%~40% in comparision with the standard specimen BSS. The analytic value of reinforced concrete beam of steel fiber incorporated was similiar in comparision with experimental results. experimental results of specimen BSFS0.5 and BSFS0.75, designed by the lower than 1.0% of steel fiber incorporated, was decreased 7%~8% of its thorecitical value, but experimental results of specimen BSFS1.5, BSFS2.0 was increased 5%~12% of its thorectical value.
취학전 아동의 신체적 발육발달에 관여하는 모친의 신체적 요소

There is debate about genetic factors based on the similarity between the physiques of parents and children. However, the actual hereditary nature of physique between parents and their children is not thought to be that strong. In recent years, though, there have been few findings derived for that hereditary nature from the physical similarity between parents and children. In the present study, we investigated this similarity from the relationship between body composition and bone density (SOS value) of parents and children to see how physical factors of mothers affected the growth and development of their children, and investigated the hereditary relationship between mothers and their children derived from body composition. The subjects were 56 mothers aged in their twenties to forties, and their 56 children (boys 29, girls 27). Physique, body composition and bone mineral density were measured in the 56 pairs of mothers and children. The influence of age was controlled so that a correlation analysis between children and mothers was possible with the cross-sectional data used in the present study. A correlation analysis between mothers and their children was also conducted with estimated values that were controlled for age. The results showed significant correlations between mothers and sons in height and muscle mass, and between mothers and daughters in height, weight, bone mass, muscle mass, and body fat percentage. While strong similarity was not found between the physiques of mothers and their children, the relationship of body composition was stronger between mothers and daughters than between mothers and sons. It is assumed that the canalization effect can explain these findings to a certain degree by theory, but the findings do not support this theory strongly.
강섬유보강 초기재령 철근콘크리트 보의 전단성능 개선에 관한 실험적 연구

Reinforced concrete structures using early age concrete were result in the degradation of structural performance due to crack, overload, unexpected vibration and impact Load. It demands urgently that reinforced concrete structure using early age concrete should be improved the serviceability and structural performance with the application of new fiber materials. Specimens, designed by the over 0.75% of steel fiber incorporated, were showed the ductile behavior and failed slowly with flexure and flexure-shear. Comparing with the load-displacement relationship of specimen BSS, designed by the recommendations of the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, reinforced steel fiber concrete beam using earls as concrete, over 0.75% of steel fiber incorporated, gets enough load cam-in capacity and ductility.
철근콘크리트 전단벽의 접합방식과 대각보강에 따른 내진성능 평가 및 개선

Six reinforced concrete shear wall, constructured with fully rigid, slit, and infilled types, were tested under both vertical and cyclic loadings. Experimental programs were carried out to evaluate the seismic performance of such test specimens, such as the hysteretic behavior, the maximum horizontal strength, crack propagation, and ductility, under load reversals. All the specimens were modeled in one-third scale size. Based on the test results, the following conclusions can be made. For the diagonal reinforced slit and infilled shear wall specimens, it was found that the failure mode shows very effective crack control and crushing due to slippage prevention of boundary region and reduction of diagonal tension rathar than the brittle shear and diagonal tension failure. The ductility of specimens designed by the diagonal reinforcement for the slit and infilled shear wall was increased 1.72~1.81 times in comparison with the fully rigid shear wall frame. Maximum horizontal load-carrying capacity of specimens designed by the diagonal reinforcement ratio the slit and infilled shear wall was increased respectively by l.14 times and l.49 times in comparison with the standard fully rigid shear wall frame.
