Where is the importance of home education today? Home education would be influenced by parents’ values and their teaching methods. We live in an era in which we emphasize the importance of parents' understanding of Christian home education in Christian families. If so, what is the value of parental child education in Christian families and what education would be desirable? This study emphasizes Christian nurturing in the family by studying Bushnell’s Christian nurture. Bushnell’s Christian Nurture tells two significant concerns of his ministry. First concern is all about the prevailing view of infant baptism. Although he did not deny the sacramental grace, Bushnell thought that the rite as practiced implied too sudden and radical a change in the character of the child. The approach seemed to him as unrealistic and verging on superstition. Bushnell’s second concern was a discontent with revivalism as the sole means of salvation. Even he was not opposed to all revivalism and revival conversion, because when he was a law student at Yale, a revival started him on his final career path. But he opposed all revivals because Calvinism did not teach a valid Christian experience. The situation in the United States at that time was the days of the Great Awakening, in which Jonathan Edward and others were active, and the main emphasis was on the total depravity of man, the grace of God, and the salvation through conversion and faith. In this context, it is very unusual for children born in Christian families to be recognized as Christians and to emphasize Christian nurturing for their children. Therefore, we examine Bushnell’s conversion, infant baptism, child care and evangelism, and seek implications for his family education. In addition, the importance of today’s balanced Christian home education is to cooperate with the church to provide Christian education to children with parent education and to become healthy homes.

개혁주의생명신학에 근거한 영성교육과 사이버교회

한국교회는 상대적으로 짧은 기간 안에 외형적인 급성장과 통계적 차원에서의 부흥 등으로 한국사회에 상당한 영향을 끼쳤음을 부인할 사람은 없을 것이다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 한국교회 부흥의 많은 요인 가운데 부정적인 영향으로 연구되어진 샤머니즘적 신앙은 성도들에게 물질만능주의적인 신앙이 되게 하였으며, 이와 같은 비정상적인 신앙은 한국이 경제적으로 성장함과 동시에 소위 복을 받기 위해 다녔던 교회의 필요성이 사라지며 동시에 교회는 점차 쇠퇴하기 시작하였다. 이로 인해 한국 교회 전체의 성도수가 줄어들기 시작하고 교육이나 선교적인 영역에서도 부정적인 결과들이 나오기 시작하였다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저, 한국교회의 수많은 문제들 가운데 영성적 측면에서의 문제점을 진단하고, 개혁주의신학에 생명력을 불어 넣고자 하는 의지와 구체적인 노력으로 인하여 탄생되어진 “개혁주의생명신학”을 소개한다. 또한 개혁주의생명신학에 근거한 영성교육을 통하여 샤머니즘적이고 위험한 영성에서 온전하고 성숙한 그리스도인의 삶을 살게 하는 것과 더불어, 초현대의 정보화 시대에 새롭게 주목을 받고 있는 사이버교회를 통한 영성교육의 근거를 모색하였다. 사이버교회는 사이버 용어를 통하여 모든 신학적 용어들을 적용하려 하는데 가령 “사이버 은총”, “사이버 신앙” 등을 언급하며, 성경의 말씀들도 사이버 상에서 이해 할 수 있는 혹은 적용할 수 있는 용어들로 변환시키는 소위 사이버 신학적 작업들이 필요할 것을 주장한다. 그러나 자칫 잘 못하면 마치 교회의 모든 형식과 제도를 번거로운 것으로 여겨 무교회주의적이며, 정통적이지 않은, 위험하거나 아니면 적어도 바람직하지 않은 교회의 형태를 추구한 자들의 전철을 밟을 수 있다는 것까지 염두에 두고 있다. 사이버는 초현대적 감각과 더불어 긍정적인 면이 있지만, 이와 더불어 매우 강력하고 찬란해진 음란물 혹은 도박 사이트를 위시해서 각종 폭력적이고 잔인한 게임 등이 미칠 악영향을 우려하지 않을 수 없다. 이런 면에서 사이버교회의 사명과 강력한 역할이 기대가 되지만 매우 조심스러운 면과 더불어 방법적이고 실재적인 부분이 아직 기초 단계라는 것을 연구 조사를 통해 파악할 수 있다. 이런 이유로 개혁주의생명신학과 학회 그리고 백석학원과 총회는 말할 것도 없고 초교파를 초월한 한국교회와 더 나아가 세계의 교회들이 정보화 시대에 필요한 사이버교회와 영성교육을 더욱 심도 있게 연구하여 기존 교회의 사각지대에 있는 영혼들을 구원으로 인도하는 마지막 사명을 감당할 것을 기대한다. The Korean Church will not deny that it has had a considerable impact on Korean society because of its rapid growth and statistical revival in a relatively short period of time. Nonetheless, the shamanistic faith, which has been studied as a negative influence among many factors in the revival of Korean church, has made Korean Christians materialistic faith, and this unusual belief has become the significant factor of the reasons which churches gradually began to decline. As a result, the number of Christians throughout the Korean Church began to decline, and negative results began to emerge in the education and mission fields as well. This study first introduces the "Reformed Life theology", which was born out of the many spiritual problems of the Korean churches, and the willingness and specific efforts to infuse life into Reformed theology . In addition to spiritual education based on Reformed Life theology and living a full and mature Christian life, we sought the basis of spiritual education through cyber church, which is getting attention in the era of ultra modern information age . The Cyber ​​Church attempts to apply all theological terms through cyber terms, for example, "Cyber ​​Grace," "Cyber ​​Faith," etc., and translates the Bible's words into cyber-understandable or applicable terms So-called cyber theological work is needed. However, if you do not do it well, you are taking into consideration that all forms and institutions of the church are cumbersome and that you can take the trains of those who pursue the form of the church, which is unorthodox, not orthodox, dangerous, or at least undesirable. Cyber ​​has a positive aspect with its ultra-modern sense, but it also has to worry about the adverse effects of violent and brutal games such as pornography or gambling sites that are very powerful and glittering. In this way, the mission and strong role of the cyber church is expected, but research studies can show that the methodical and realistic part is still a basic step, along with a very cautious aspect. For this reason, not only the Reformed Life Theology, society for Reformed Life Theology Seminary, Baekseok Academy and the General Assembly, but also all Korean churches and world churches need to study the cyber churches and spiritual education necessary for the information age more deeply, expecting to accomplish the final mission of leading souls to salvation.

호레이스 부쉬넬의 기독교적 양육의 개혁주의생명교육신학적 적용

18세기 미국의 대각성 운동은 미국만이 아니고 전 세계에 영적 부흥 운동으로 교회사에 매우 중요한 사건이요 역사라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 이와 같은 영적 대각성운동 중에 아직 영적, 인지적으로 미성숙한 어린이들에 관심을 가진 호레이스 부쉬넬 은 가정을 통한 신앙교육을 주장하였다. 대각성운동이 회심과 중 생에 초점을 맞추었다면 신앙교육은 감정에 호소하기 보다는 신 앙교육에 초점을 맞추었으며 회심과 중생은 시간적 혹은 사건적 인 계기뿐만 아니고 신앙가정교육을 통해서 자연스럽게 본인이 언제 회심과 중생을 하게 되었는지 모르지만 신앙을 고백함과 동 시에 크리스천이 되어감에 대한 주장을 한다. 문제는 호레이스 부쉬넬의 신학을 자유주의 혹은 진보주의 신학의 시조로 보려는 시도에 대하여 연구자는 본질이 아닌 신앙교육의 형식적 방법적 인 부분의 중요성을 교육신학적 관점으로 진단하고 소위 자유주 의적, 진보주의 신학자들의 주장하는 교육 방법적인 부분들이 개 혁주의에 특히 본 논문에서 주장하는 개혁주의생명신학의 교육 신학적 관점에서 해를 끼치지 않으며 오히려 교육 방법에 있어서 상호보완적인 역할을 해야 함을 주장한다.

개혁주의생명신학의 교육신학적 의미와 교회교육

오늘의 한국교회는 한국 사회에서 좋지 못한 평판을 듣고 있다. 그 주된 이유는 기독교인들의 올바르지 못한 행동양식들 때문이며, 보다 더 본질적으로 그들을 가르치는 교회의 지도자에 문제가 있기 때문이다. 본 논문은 교회의 지도자들 중 가운데 교사가 참으로 중요한 영적 지도자임을 인지하고 이들의 주 무대인 교회학교의 새로운 변화와 도약이 절실히 필요함을 주장한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 “개혁주의생명신학”의 교육신학적 의미를 살펴보고 교회교육을 구조로서 또한 과정으로서 이해하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 오늘 한국에서의 교회와 더불어서 교회학교가 쇠퇴하는 오늘날의 현 상황에 대한 현상학적 측면과 더불어서 보다 본질적 측면에 있어서 신학의 영향과 결과임을 주장한다. 또한 신학의 진정한 의미와 더불어서 이 시대에 절실하게 필요하게 느껴지는 신학의 다양성을 칼빈주의와 알미니안주의를 통해서 살펴보았고, 교회의 연합운동의 기초가 되는 신학의 수용성을 논의하였다. 이와 더불어 “개혁주의생명신학”의 교육신학적 의미를 살펴보되, 개혁주의생명교육신학 구조로서의 영생과 생명구원과 더불어서 개혁주의생명교육신학 과정으로서의 교회교육을 논의한다. 또한 “앎”을 강조하는 이론적 교육중심의 교회교육과 더불어서 “삶”을 강조하는 신앙교육공동체인 교회교육을 통하여 “이론화 된 신학”중심이 아닌 “복음과 생명으로서의 신학” 중심의 교회교육에 관하여 논의 하였다. Today Korean churches are listening to the outcries that point to the deterioration of their reputation in Korea. The main reason for this is the improper behavior of Christians, even the very church leaders who teach lay Christians. This paper asserts the urgent need for change and a new movment in the ministry of teachers among the church leaders as they truly are important spiritual leaders of the church and its educational system. Thus this paper studies the meaning of the "Reformed Life Educational Theology"'s and tries to understand the church education as structure and process. This paper insists that the current circumstance of churches and church schools are mainly the result of theology, and examines the necessity of theological diversity, which is needed for Korean churches and church educational system as well, by comparing Calvinism and Arminiaism and also, looks at the importance of theological receptivity which is the basis for the movement towards effective church union and collaboration. This paper also studies not only the meaning of the educational theology of Reformed Life Theology but also church education as the process of Reformed Life Theology, and eternal life and salvation life as essential to the structure of Reformed Life Theology. Finally, this paper studies church education, which is not only based on theology which is just theory centered, but based on theology which is Gospel and Life centered, through 7 practical movements essential to Reformed Life Theology in pursuit of a faith education community that emphasizes “real life(삶)” instead of church education that has the tendency to emphasize theoretical “knowledge(앎).”

대기환경의 문제와 대책(1) - 대기환경의 제문제

이번호 부터 '대기환경의 문제와 대책'이란 제목으로 연속강좌를 하기로 한다. 이 연속강좌 내용은 일본 공기조화$\cdot$냉동공학회지에 1994년 6월호부터 10월호까지 5회에 걸쳐 연속강좌된 것을 번역한 것으로 원래 각종 환경문제의 전모와 대기환경의 제문제에 대해 그 원인 및 영향을 살펴본 후, 현재 대기환경에 관한 주요한 문제들로 인식되고 있는 특정 프레온대책, 대기오염대책, $CO_2$ 삭감대책 및 에너지 절약에 대해 각각 규제나 대응책의 현상을 해설하고, 앞으로 우리들이 실무에서 배려해야만 하는 사항을 설명하고 있는데 전체적인 내용들이 공기청정연구조합 회원들에게도 상당히 유익하리라 생각되어 소개한다. 다만, 에너지 절약대책 부분은 본 잡지의 편집방향과 다소 거리가 있기 때문에 생략하고, 나머지 부분을 4회에 걸쳐 소개한다. 이번호는 그 첫회로 일본 (주)대림조지구환경부[ (株)大林組地球環境部]에 근무하는 주정 관이씨가 쓴 '대기환경의 제문제 '란 부제로 각종 환경 문제의 전모와 대기환경의 제문제에 대해서 그 원인 및 영향을 개설한 것을 소개한다. 단, 번역에 있어서 우리에게 별로 도움이 되지 않는 것은 생략하고 또한 이해를 돕기위해 의역을 한 곳도 있음을 부언해 둔다.

복음주의 관점에서의 영성개발을 위한 교육

본 논문의 목적은 영성과 기독교교육에 대해 연구하고 영적으로 성숙한 사람을 양성하는 것이다. 오늘날 많은 교회 지도자들은 영적 발전을 목회에 적용하는 데 어려움을 겪고 심지어 이 목회를 소홀히 하는 것 같다. 따라서 본 논문은 영성의 모호함을 해소하고 기독교교육의 균형적인 영성 발달을 강조하고자 한다. 전인적인 영적 발전을 이루기 위해서는 먼저 전인에 대해 더 깊이 연구해야 하고자한다. 이 논문에서 효과적인 교육 사역을 위한 가장 중요한 요소로 학습, 교수 및 모델링을 강조한다. The purpose of this paper is to study about the spirituality and Christian education and to produce people who are spiritual mature. Today many church leaders seem to be in difficulty for applying the spiritual development to the ministry and even neglect to do this ministry. Therefore, the paper tries to clear ambiguity of spirituality and stress on balanced spiritual development in terms of Christian education. In order to achieve holistic spiritual development we need to study more deeply about whole person first. Learning, teaching and modeling are most important factors for effective educational ministries.

개혁영성에 기초한 교회교육행정에 관한 연구

오늘날 한국교회는 새로운 시대로 들어가고 있다고 한다. 사람들은 이구동성으로 교회는 과거의 부흥은 없을 것이라고 한다. 몇 가지 실재적인 현상들 이 이런 근거에 대하여 이유들을 제시한다. 먼저 빠른 국가적 경제성장이 간절히 구하는 신앙을 사라지게 하는 요인이 되었다는 것이다. 고난으로 인하 여 만들어지고 형성되는 하나님 안에서의 신앙은 점차적인 경제적 성장과 더불어 가져다 주는 보다 더 풍부하고 만족된 안정성 등으로 인하여 사라지고 있다는 것이다. 둘째, 노인의 증가, 저출산과 이에 따른 젊은층들의 감소 등은 교회와 교인의 수가 감소하는 결과를 낳게 하였다. 셋째, 한국교회는 주로 영성과 외적 교회 성장에 집중하는 부흥위주의 목회에 주로 초점을 맞추었으며 이로 인한 부정적인 결과들이 발생하게 되었다. 영성목회를 주도하는 목회자들은 교회행정의 실제적 측면을 단순히 세속적인 제도의 기능으로 단순화하는 경향이 있으며 결국 이중적 사고방식에 빠지게 되는 것이다. 하지만 교회행정의 부재는 많은 문제들을 야기시켰으며 이 문제들로 인하여 사람들은 교회를 떠나고 새로운 신자들이 교회에 들어오는 것을 막는 결과가 되었다. 진정한 영성과 교회교육행정은 교회가 균형적으로 성장하고 발전하는데 반드시 필요한 것임을 인식해야 한다. 순전한 영성으로써의 개혁영성은 요한 칼빈의 경건의 관점에 근거하여 다루어지고 있다. 배틀(Battle)의 요한 칼빈에 대한 해석에 의하면 칼빈은 하 나님을 예배하며 이웃을 섬기는 두 가지 모두를 강조하고 있다. 더 나아가, 영성은 관계, 삶 그리고 추구로서 이해되어 질 필요가 있다. Today it is said that Korean churches are entering a new era. Everyone with one voice affirms that no longer will there be revivals of the past in the church. Some phenomenal reasons can be presented to account for this. First, the country`s fast economic growth has resulted in the disappearance of desperate faith. Faith in God, characterized and empowered by suffering urgency, is gradually disappearing with increasing economic development that also caters to the creature comforts of improved and more affluent life styles. Second, the aging population, low birth, and a decrease in young people have resulted in decreasing numbers of Christians and churches. Third, churches in Korea have been primarily focused on revival ministry emphasizing spirituality and on outward-oriented church growth, consequently leading to negative side effects. Ministers of such spiritual ministry tend to regard the practical aspects of church adminstration as merely a function of the secular system and fall into the trap of dualistic thinking. However, the absence of church adminstration has caused too many problems causing people to leave and preventing new adherents from entering churches. The need for genuine spirituality and Church educational administration must both be recognized for the church to grow and develop in a balanced way. The Reformed spirituality as the genuine spirituality is dealt in the perspective of John Calvin`s piety. According to Battles` interpretation of John Calvin`s piety, Calvin emphasized worshipping God and Serving people both. In addition, the spirituality needs to be understood as the Relationship, the Life, and the Pursue.

복음주의의 교육신학적 의미와 전도를 위한 개혁주의생명신학 7대 실천운동

교회사적으로 복음주의는 타락한 가톨릭 교회에 대하여 성경중심, 복음중심, 믿음중심의 신학을 추구하는 종교개혁자들에 의하여 시작되었다고 할 수 있다. 복음주의는 정통주의와 경건주의로 이어지면서 대각성운동으로 이어지며 교회사에 복음과 부흥의 불을 지피는 중요한 역할을 하였으며 복음주의의 시대적인 인물들을 탄생시켰다. 그러나 교회에 대한 복음주의의 많은 역할과 기여에도 불구하고 시대가 요청하는 부분들에 대한 재조명이 필요하며, 이와 더불어 보다 더 균형이 있는 복음주의적 신학과 운동이 필요하다. 이런 차원에서 본 연구는 복음주의 신학을 다시 한 번 살펴보되 전체의 신학적 관점이 아닌 교육신학적 관점에 초점을 맞추어 복음주의 교육신학적 의미를 살피고 복음주의의 긍정적이고 적극적인 부분은 잘 살리고 부정적 혹은 소극적인 부분을 잘 검토하고 보완하여 나아가고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 복음주의의 역사적 배경과 그 시대의 역할들을 살피고 복음주의의 교육신학적 관점 등을 살핀 후, 이와 더불어 개혁주의생명신학의 시작과 의미 그리고 “신학은 학문이 아니다”에 관하여 개혁주의생명교육신학의 교육신학적 의미와 생명을 살리는 교육 등을 연구한다. 개혁주의생명신학의 생명을 살리는 교육과 7대실천운동은 단순히 복음을 외치던 복음주의의 전통 전도방식에서 현대 불신자들에게 보여주고 감동시키는 실천운동을 통한 거시적이고 간접적인 차원에서의 7가지 전도방식을 제안한다. 개혁주의생명신학 7대운동은 백석총회와 백석학원이 세속화되어지며 영적으로 통계적으로 침체되어가는 한국교회를 다시 한 번 일으키고 부흥시키고자 하는 간절한 바람에서 출발한다. In terms of the history of church Evangelicalism may have been started by the reformers to pursue a Bible centered, gospel centered, faith centered theology against the corrupt Roman Catholic Church. As Evangelicalism has led to Orthodoxy, pietism and to Awakening, it played an important role making the fire of revival in the Church History and gave birth to the great evangelical figures. However, and despite the many roles and contributions of the Evangelicalism, it needs to be reviewed according to the need of the new age and it needs to be balanced evangelical theology and movements. This paper studies the evangelical theology more carefully and focus on evangelical educational theology rather than every theology and tries to find out a positive and active part of the evangelicalism and revise the negative or passive part of the evangelicalism. For this, this paper studies the historical background and the role of the age of the evangelicalism and educational theological perspective and studies the beginning and meaning of the Reformed Life theology and about the “Theology is not mere the discipline” and the meaning of the Reformed Life educational theology and the life-saving education. The life saving education and 7 practical movement of the Reformed Life theology suggests 7 practical ways of evangelism through the impressive practical movement for the unbelievers rather than the traditional ways of evangelism with simple shouting the Gospel. The 7 practical of the Reformed Life theology starts with the earnest desire to raise and revive again the Korean Churches which are getting stagnated statistically and spiritually and secularized with the cooperations of Baekseok Assembly and Baekseok Schools.
