Not only traditional markets serve as a platform of center of sales and consumption but they also have value of Koran culture based on historic traditions and activeness of tourist attractions. However, ever since the opening of domestic distribution service, the competitiveness of the traditional markets have been decreasing continuously along with competition with supermarkets and lagged behind environments. As a solution to fundamentally re-vitalize these markets, attracting foreign tourists has been suggested but current service provided for foreign tourists is greatly insufficient. Above study selected “Kwangjang market”, the famous tourist attraction, as a case and applicated UX(User Experience) design processes in solving the problem discussed. Through this foreign tourists who visit the “Kwangjang market” could understand its context. In doing so, we suggest a concept of mobile application based on O2O technology. To be specific, service blueprint and stakeholder map is designed with emphasis on foreigner communication and food selection experience, and key path scenario and UI design is developed to meet key user needs from user experience research.
