        대화형 인터페이스 통합 체계에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 대화 경험 디자인의 기초 연구로서 대화형 인터페이스의 통합 체계 제안을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 인터페이스와 인터랙션의 변천 과정을 고찰하고, 대화 경험의 개념을 중심으로 연구하였다. 또한, 대화 기술 동향 파악과 대표적인 방법론, 대화 경험의 수단이 되는 언어에 대해 살펴보았다. 자연어 및 데이터 처리 기술에 대한 세세한 내용은 배제하였다. 연구의 범위는 사용자 대화 경험, 인터페이스와 상호작용, 대화형 시스템으로 구분하였다. 연구 방법으로는 논문, 이론 서적, 단행본, 연구보고서, 기술 동향보고서 등을 토대로 문헌연구를 진행하고, 이를 종합하여 대화형 인터페이스 체계를 구성하였다. 또한, 전문가 심층 인터뷰를 실행하여 객관적인 의견을 포함하여 결론을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 대화는 언어를 도구로 의사소통하는 것이고, 언어는 추상적 사고를 개념화한다. 그러므로 사회 · 문화적인 요인과 상호 영향을 받는다. 대화 상호작용은 기술이 발전해오면서 인터랙션의 변화 단계들의 특성이 합쳐져 멀티모달리티 형태로 진화하고 있다. 따라서 이들 특징과 더불어 대화 경험 및 언어의 특징들을 모두 고려해야 한다. 본 연구는 사용자 대화 경험 관점에서 대화 기술까지 아울러 종합적으로 다루었다는 데 의의가 있다. 현재 미성숙한 기술을 대화 경험 디자인을 통해 보완할 수 있는 여지가 있다. 또한, 대화형 인터페이스 관련 산업이 빠르게 성장하고 있으므로 대화 경험 디자인도 점차 강조될 것이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 대화형 인터페이스 통합 체계가 대화 경험 디자인을 위한 기초 연구로서 향후 연구 및 개발에 활용되길 기대한다. As a fundamental study on conversational experience design, this study aims to put forward an organized system of conversational interface. For this study, consider the transition process of interfaces and interactions and focus on the concept of conversational experience. Also, the trends of conversational skills, representative methodologies, and languages that serve as a means of conversation experience were examined. Details of natural language and data processing techniques were excluded. The scope of the study was divided into user conversational experiences, interfaces, interactions, and conversational systems. Literature research was conducted based on related papers, theoretical publications, books, research reports, and reports on the trend of technology, and the research results were applied to the development of conversational interface system. In addition, an in-depth interview with experts was carried out to obtain objective views and conclusions. Conversation is to communicate using language as a tool, and language conceptualizes abstract thinking. Therefore, it is influenced by social and cultural factors. Conversational interactions are evolving into a multimodality form by combining the characteristics of the stages of interaction change as technology develops. Therefore, both conversational experience and language characteristics should be considered as well as these characteristics. This study has significance by dealing with user conversation experience and conversational skills comprehensively. Conversation experience design provides the possibility of complementing the present immature technologies at present. Since the conversational interface industry is growing fast, the conversational experience design will be gradually emphasized. It is anticipated that the integrated system of conversational interface suggested by this study can be used for research and development in future, as a fundamental study for conversation experience design.

        유아용 스마트 토이 디자인 개발: 36개월령 언어발달 특징을 바탕으로

        Background Conversational interfaces do not require learning. There is no hassle to find the menu for specific functions, and it is advantageous for the children, the elderly who are relatively inconvenient to recognize texts. Based on that, the children's markets are also introducing various voice-based smart toys. This paper develops a conversational smart toy design for 36-month-old infants who are most active in language development. Methods For developing a smart toy, this study searches the concept, type of smart toy. Also, identify the system components of it based on understanding the relevant market's current status―also, theoretical research about infants and their language development for designing a conversational smart toy. It designs based on the language development characteristics of 36-month-old infants, the most suitable target users. Results The conversational smart toy has significance in developing the language of infants and helps with parenting stress. However, speech recognition technology is yet immature, whereas the infants' reaction is too broad. Therefore, the smart toy adopted the word cards and a method of conversation through a quiz. Expressions, gestures, and responses were different according to the infants' responses. Also developed a smartphone app that parents can intervene. Conclusion Infants’ reactions, responses are countless, so more scenarios are required. Furthermore, continuous vocabulary DB updates should be accompanied. Despite durable and technical issues, it is expected to help infants’ develop language and play.

        대화 상호작용에서 경험의 개념적 구조에 관한 기초 연구

        Background Recently, the launch of conversational services has been on the rise. In the future, these systems are expected to expand into a variety of fields. Therefore, this work seeks to derive a systematic and integrated conceptual structure for the user's experience of conversation to respond to these changes. Methods To derive the conceptual structure of the conversational experience, first, we gather the theoretical considerations of conversation and experience to understand the concept of conversational experience. Second, we establish concepts for it through a literature review of interfaces and interactive systems. Third, classifying them into actions, processes, methods, and outcomes for the relationship between conversational experience and services, and derive the conceptual structure of experience from interactions based on this. Finally, gathering opinions on the conversational experience structure from expert interviews. Results In conversational interactions, the conceptual structure of experience was identified by dividing it into five layers: surface layer, skeleton layer, structural layer, range layer, and strategic layer. We derive structures that correspond to each other in interactions of human-system. We also establish concepts and roles corresponding to each layer. In addition, expert interviews were able to assess the potential as a preliminary research of conversational interaction and the direction of future study. Conclusion This study is meaningful in that it laid the foundation for understanding the concept of conversational experience in line with the trend of increasing and expanding conversational services and developing related technologies. We hope to be used as a fundamental resource for future related research and development.

        쇼핑경험 향상을 위한 스마트카트 개발

        Background ICT in shopping, smart carts have recently been introduced in several domestic and foreign marts. This research aims to present meaningful insights into smart carts to be developed in the future by analyzing the feedback of practitioners on the Prototype of “A” Smart Cart, that the authors are currently developing. Methods The first researched the technologies of the smart shopping cart and user experiences at the supermarket. And analyzed the practitioners (UX, product design, POS development, manufacturing management, etc.) with an in-depth interview and presented the “A” Smart Cart with an explanation. Results As presented the design and the system components of “A” Smart Cart that supports the user’s seamless shopping experiences with the photos of the actual Prototype. Defining the issues; safety, customer error response, usage time, consideration for the elderly, and the delivery request through the interview. Conclusion The smart cart design should support customers’ various experiences from the store to improve the users’ shopping experience in an integrated and natural manner. In addition, the issues analyzed through the interview of this paper should be considered in the design development stage.
