Idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome is characterized by prolonged markedly elevated peripheral blood eosinophil count and eosinophil-related tissue damage to variable organs without an identifiable underlying cause. Eosinophilopoiesis is related with T-lymphocyte activation and cytokine cascade controlling eosinophilic production. It shows tissue infiltration in many organs including endomyocardium, lung, liver, gastrointestinal tract. Here we report a case of idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome presenting ruptured rectus sheath hematoma due to coagulopathy involving the liver. Severe postoperative complications were developed after general anesthesia. The patient suffered from life-threatening acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). This case suggest that, in patients with marked eosinophilia requiring general anesthesia, perioperative steroid cover is advisable. This may reduce or prevent serious lung damage and other complications. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2007; 52: 728~32)

인터넷방송 서비스를 위한 오버레이 멀티캐스트 기법의 평균 대기시간 비교

IP 멀티캐스트의 대안으로 제시되고 있는 오버레이 멀티캐스트는 네트워크계층의 구현 기법으로, 지연시간과 대역폭 사용에 있어서 표준화된 인터페이스가 정의되어 있지 않아 응용 서비스의 요구사항에 따라 해당 기법을 선택해서 사용해야 하는 비효율적인 면을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 오버레이 멀티캐스트 기법 중 분산형 Tree-first 기반의 spanning tree 구조인 TBCP기법과 mOBCP기법을 상호 비교하여 세션 가입절차 및 탈퇴, 노드의 단절을 순차적인 대기방법인 tree 구조를 적용하였다. 이 두 기법을 동일시간대에 다수의 사용자 접속 시 최적의 부모노드를 빠르게 선택하도록 제안된 tree 구조 방식의 해석결과 mOBCP기법이 TBCP기법에 비해 평균 대기시간이 약 36% 감소하였다. The overlay multicast that has been recently presented as an alternative for the IP multicast has been getting much attention by the advancement of network techniques to enforce routing in application-levels. In this paper, we verified the efficiency of Internet broadcasting through comparing latency time of TBCP with mOBCP that have distributed Tree-first based spanning-tree structures in overlay multicast techniques. We also propose effective tree structures that minimize latency time and provide competent service by choosing optimum parent nodes early in the base of these two methods over the same time slot in multi-user connection. The results of our comparison showed that average latency time in mOBCP techniques declined by 36% from those of TBCP technique.

Korean classic novels were widely read among people and provided good source of story for writers in the early 20th century. But in a multi-media environment of these days, Korean classic novels are usually read and sold for children or students for their entrance examination. However that does not mean that there is no place for Korean classic novels in today"s environment where digital technology is being applied in various cultural areas and culture is kind of commodity. Humanistic imagination is still needed in cultural industries and Korean classic novels with peculiar characteristic of Korean culture are considered to have potential power in the world market which came to be closely related to our lives under the influence of globalization. However it seems to be hard to expect that producers of cultural contents read Korean classic novels and remake them into new, original cultural contents because there are huge gaps between today and the past. This study tried to approach this kind of problem with the view point of scholars of Korean classic novels. This study suggested that what scholars of Korean classic novels can do with regard to cultural contents is translating Korean classic novels into modern Korean language, building data base of them, interpreting them based on deep study, and searching for new method for applying characters of Korean classic novels for cultural contents.

오버레이 멀티캐스트기법을 이용한 인터넷 방송 서비스의 전송지연에 대한 개선 연구

IP 멀티캐스트의 대안으로 제시되고 있는 오버레이 멀티캐스트는 응용계층에서 기존의 네트워크계층에서 담당하던 IP멀티캐스트를 구현하는 기법으로 활용되고 있다. 그러나, 이 방식은 지연시간과 대역폭 사용의 측면에 있어서 비효율적인 면을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷방송 중에서 실시간 미디어전송을 오버레이 멀티캐스트 기반으로 사용자간에 효율적인 전송 경로 트리설정을 TBCP기법과 mOBCP 기법을 상호 적용하여 설정한다. 이 설정한 두가지 모델을 사용하여 인터넷방송 서비스의 전송지연을 비교하고 평가한다. The overlay multicast that has been recently presented as an alternative for the IP multicast has been getting much persuasion by the advancement of the network techniques to enforce routing in application-level. But, The overlay multicast is a problem of delay and the load of the traffic control. In this paper, we suggested to an effective transmission routing tree between users based on overlay multicast of Internet broadcasting Service. And we evaluated an optimal value of transmission delay about Internet broadcasting using this suggest model.

This study was conducted at a Terminal, a Parking Lot, an Underground shopping center, a Funeral hall and a Hospital waiting room of Cheon An area in August 2008 to examine the concentration level of HCHO(formaldehyde). The concentration level of the remodeled sites were 39.4 ± 12.0 ㎍/㎥ in the terminal, 32.7 ± 7.3 ㎍/㎥ in the parking, and 97.8 ± 29.4 ㎍/㎥ in the underground shopping center. The underground shopping center had the highest level and followed by the terminal and the parking. On the contrary, the site remodeling had the level of 17.7 ± 12.4 ㎍/㎥ in the funeral hall and 17.9 ± 0.6 ㎍/㎥ in the hospital waiting room. The funeral hall had highest level than that of the hospital waiting room. Both the remodeled sites and the not remodeled site had concentration level of HCHO below the standard level, but it was higher in the remodeled sites. There were no relations among the HCHO, the temperature and the humidity in facilities of Cheon An area.

임상연구 : 노인 환자에서 Sevoflurane-Remifentanil 마취유도 시 Glycopyrrolate, Atropine 투여가 혈역학적 변동에 미치는 영향

Background: This study was conducted to determine the effect of glycopyrrolate or atropine on attenuating hemodynamic responses such as bradycardia and hypotension during anesthetic induction with remifentanil and sevoflurane in elderly patients, in a randomized placebo-controlled double blinded manner. Methods: 60 patients over 65 years with ASA physical status 1 or 2 were allocated to one of three groups of 20 each. Each group received saline placebo (group C) or glycopyrrolate 4μg/kg (group G) or atropine 0.5 mg (group A) immediately after induction of anesthesia, and then remifentanil 1μg/kg bolus was given over 30s. Mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) were measured before anesthetic induction, before intubation, and during 5 minutes after intubation at 1 minute interval. Results: MAP remained stable and HR increased significantly 1 min after intubation in all groups. MAP decreased significantly during 2-5 minute after intubation in all groups. HR decreased in the group C, remained stable in the group G, and increased in the group A significantly during 3-5 minute after intubation. Hypotension (systolic blood pressure < 90 mmHg checked twice) occurred in 8 patients in the group C, 1 patient in the group G, and none in the group A. Conclusions: Glycopyrrolate and atropine attenuated the hemodynamic responses to laryngoscropy and intubation during anesthetic induction with remifentanil 1μg/kg bolus dose and sevoflurane. <열녀박씨계약결혼뎐>에 나타난 열녀 화소 수용 방식에 대하여

최근 드라마에서 <열녀박씨계약결혼뎐>, <밤에 피는 꽃> 등 수절 과부가 주인공으로 등장하면서 열녀 화소가 부각되는 작품들이 연속적으로 등장해 눈길을 끈다. 그 중 <열녀박씨계약결혼뎐>은 동명의 웹소설(2020)을 드라마화한 것으로, 작가가 작품의 창작 배경으로 박지원의 <열녀함양박씨전>을 언급하였다. 이에 본고는 웹소설 <열녀박씨계약결혼뎐>의 서사를 중심으로 21세기 한국 웹소설, 드라마 등에 수용된 열녀 관련 내용을 분석하였고, 그 결과 오늘날 콘텐츠에서 열녀 화소를 수용하는 방식은 열 이데올로기에 대한 비판은 기정사실로 간주하면서 열녀 화소를 작품의 서사를 추동하는 사건의 시작이나 혹은 서사의 긴장을 유지하는 수단으로 활용함을 알 수 있었다. Movies with a critical view of the yeolnyeo(烈⼥, virtuous women who stayed loyal to her late husband) ideology began to appear in the late 1960s. Movies about yeolnyeo kept being produced until the 1980s but more or less disappeared afterwards. Recently, however, several K-dramas such as Yeolnyeo Bakssi Gyeyak Gyeolhondyeon (Yeolneyo Park’s Contract Marriage) and Bame Pineun Kkot (Night Flower) have dealt with the yeolnyeo motif. Among them, Yeolnyeo Bakssi Gyeyak Gyeolhondyeon is based on a web novel of the same title which was published in 2020. The author mentioned that she got the idea for her novel from Yeolnyeo Hamyang Bakssijeon, an eighteenth century story about a yeolnyeo who killed herself after her husband’s death. This paper analyzes how yeolnyeo narrative is appropriated in today’s Korean web novels and dramas. It examines how these contents treat the critical viewpoint on yeolnyeo ideology as a fait accompli while using the yeolnyeo motif as a means to give an impetus to the story’s development and to increase and maintain the dramatic tension of the story.
