This study investigates a Kalina cycle using low-temperature waste heat sources to produce 600㎾ power. The cycles using ammonia-water binary mixture as a working fluid have attracted much attention over past three decades. Kalina cycle system (KCS) 11 is investigated as a target system using a process analysis code. The performance evaluation of the system is interpreted with thermal efficiency. Effect of the system parameters, such as mass fraction of ammonia in the mixture, turbine inlet temperature, and pressure of the working fluid, are parametrically investigated.
