Poly[hexamethylene carbonate] glycol (PHMCG)과 poly[oxytetramethylene] glycol (PTMG)을 각각 카보네이트 폴리올 및 에테르 타입의 폴리올로 사용하고 여기에 잠재적 음이온기인 dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA)와 이소시아네이트 화합물인 isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI)를 첨가하여 음이온성 폴리우레탄 분산체 (PUD)를 제조하였다. 두가지 형태의 폴리올을 각각 단독으로 사용할 때와 혼합하여 사용할 때 폴리올의 조성 및 종류가 PUD의 유화 입경과 건조 필름의 기계적, 열적 물성에 미치는 영향 등에 대해 검토하였는데 혼합 폴리올 적용시 PTMG 함량이 증가할수록 PUD의 유화 입경이 점차적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 인장 강도는 완만한 가소를 나타나다가 증가하였다. 이는 두 폴리올간의 상용성이 적기 때문에 나타나는 결과로 해석되며, 이러한 비상용성은 DSC 분석을 통하여 확인할 수 있었다. Using poly [hexamethylene carbonate] glycol (PHMCG) and poly[oxytetramethylene] glycol (PTMG) as the carbonate type and ether type polyols, respectively, and by adding isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and dimethylol propionic acid (DMPA), polyurethane dispersions (PUD) were prepared. The effect of type and composition of polyols on the particle size of PUD and on the mechanical and thermal properties of PUD cast films were investigated. As the PTMG contents in the mixed polyols increased the particle size asymptotically increased, while tensile strength showed a slight decrease followed by a slight increase. This was due to the incompatibility of two polyols, which was confirmed by DSC analysis.

This study is on the structural safety of traditional wooden architecture with a case of safety diagnosis for 'the main building of Songgwang Temple'. Structure of traditional wooden architecture is made of structure type with complicated framework by fabricate wooden members. When there deteriorate by material and structural causes on the characteristics of woods, it will be desirable that safety diagnosis should be conducted, a cause should be found exactly, structural safety should be evaluated to remove the problems Parallel approach of structural analysis using computer program in structural safety evaluation of traditional wooden architecture and manual calculation is a method which can examine the structural characteristics exactly. In addition, structural analysis using computer program is the method that can reduce an error in load by partial modeling considering an appropriate joint condition and applying it to the whole modeling.
철판 보강된 전통 목구조 추녀의 구조적 특성에 관한 연구

This study conducted the steel plate reinforced experiment considering decay and damage of hip rafter in the traditional wooden structure building and found the following behavioral and reinforcement effects. As a result of hip rafter experiment, it was found that steel plate reinforced specimen applicable to the decay and damage of hip rafter showed generally the increase of yield load by 80.5~222.5% and that of initial stiffness by 8~40%. Reinforcement using inserted ‘T’- or double ‘T’-shaped steel plate was more effective in enhancing structural reinforcement than using ‘一’ letter form in upper part of hip rafter. To sum up the experimental results of this study, it is expected that the reinforcement using inserted ‘T’- or double ‘T’-shaped steel plate to the hip rafter of traditional wooden buildings can result in effects of enhancing initial stiffness, yield load and deflection control. In addition, further studies on mitigating stress concentration due to the combination of steel plate and bolt in steel plate reinforcement of the traditional wooden structures will be required.
전통 목구조 팔작지붕 추녀부재의 구조적 보강 특성에 관한 연구

These studies experimentally investigates structural behavior and reinforcing effects by strengthening the Carbon Fiber Bar overhanging length ratio of hip rafter in hipped-and-gabled roof house as follows. 1) As a result of hip rafter member test, it is found that reinforced specimen shows increased yield load by 4.1%~45.8%, and ultimate load than non-reinforced standard specimen depending on the ratio of overhanging length by 0.6%~47.7%. Also, in yield load, based on the ratio of overhanging length increases, load shows decrease of 6.7%~32.2% in standard specimen and of 5.1%~19.7% in reinforced specimen. 2) As a result of comparing standard specimen to reinforced specimen according to the ratio of overhanging length of hip rafter, Ductile Coefficient shows increase in reinforced specimen of Ⅰ-Type (1:1.0) by 17%~26%, but Ductile Coefficient of standard specimen and reinforced specimen in Ⅱ-Type (1:1.2) and Ⅲ-Type (1:1.4) were similar. As a result of experiments and analysis with hip rafter member in traditional wooden structure, proposed retrofitting method with encased Carbon Fiber Bar is more rational than existing reinforcement methods such as slide installation, steel band reinforcement, plastering mud on the ceiling and core load adjustment and putting stone in the inside considering archetype preservation, structural safety and durability of cultural properties.

These studies experimentally investigates structural behavior and reinforcing effects by strengthening the Carbon Fiber Bar(CFB) overhanging length ratio of hip rafter(春舌) in hipped-and-gabled roof(八作屋蓋) house as follows. 1) As a result of hip rafter member test, it is found that reinforced specimen shows increased yield strength by 13%~33.6%, and ultimate strength than non-reinforced standard specimen depending on the ratio of overhanging length by 0.6%~34.3%. Also, in yield strength, based on the ratio of overhanging length increases, flexural stress shows decrease of 1%~26% in standard specimen and of 5%~20% in reinforced specimen. 2) As a result of comparing standard specimen to reinforced specimen according to the ratio of overhanging length of hip rafter, Ductile Coefficient shows increase in reinforced specimen of ⅠType by 17%, but D.C. of standard specimen and reinforced specimen in ⅡType and ⅢType were similar. These studies experimentally investigates flexural behavior and reinforcing effects of sleeper(駕木) member in storied tower house(樓架構) as follows. As a result of sleeper member test, standard sleepers without CFB reinforcement show flexural cracks at the bottom member at the beginning of loading stage and leads 10 fracture. However, reinforced specimens with CFB show initial shrinkage at the upper part of specimen by compression. instead of flexural cracks at the bottom, and finally show compressive failure or fracture after failure of CFB and it proves that reinforcing effects Reinforced specimen showed higher strength in yield strength by 60/0-38%. and ultimate strength by 8%~17%, than standard specimen. This is regarded as strengthening effect of the timber encased strengthened by powerful tensile strength armature. Reinforted specimen shows higher Ductile Coefficient increase of average 152% compared than standard specimens and it proves that higher structural ductility can be expected in reinforced specimens.
