차량운전자의 안전을 위한 도로표지판 디자인에 관한 연구

지식기반 산업기술의 비약적인 발전으로 공공분야에도 변화의 바람이 불고 있다. 도로표지판의 규정이 대통령령으로 만들어진 지난 55년부터 현재까지 모두 16차례나 관련법령이 개정됐다. 그러나 문제점은 여전히 해결되지 않고 있다는 것이 전문가들의 지적이다. 게다가 전면 개정 때는 거액의 예산을 들여 대대적으로 표지판디자인을 교체하는 등 예산 낭비도 많았다는 비판을 받고 있는것이 현실이다. 교통관련전문가들은 현행 도로표지판 체계에서 세분화된 관리주체 복잡한 노선번호와 다양한 도로명 지역별 도로표지판 체계의 연계성 부족 등이 주요한 문제라고 지적하고 있다. 이러한 변화속에서 운전자를 위한 도로표지판의 기능과 역할은 더욱 중요한 시점에 있다. 본 연구에서는 도로표지판 디자인의 문제점을 분석하고 효용성 지수를 도출하여 향상된 규정집을 발행하도록 접근을 시도하는데 의의가 있다. Knowledge-based industries to the rapid development of technology in the public sector the winds of change are blowing. The current system of road signs traffic-related professionals in the fine-grained management entity a complex route number and variety of road name a lack of continuity in local road signs the system has been pointed out that the main problem. These drivers for change in the role and function of road signs is a more important point. In this study analyzing the problems of road signs designed and drawn Usability index improved to issue regulations to attempt to access is meaningful.

최근 전국적으로 공공디자인 사업이 여러 다양한 분야에서 시행되고 있으며 이해관계에 의하여 무분별한 사업 진행 및 여러 가지 시행착오를 겪어 최근에 들어서야 체계적인 공공디자인 사업이 점차적으로 추진되고 있다. 그 결과 지자체들의 공공디자인에 대한 관심은 공공디자인의 발전을 가져왔다. 그렇지만 긍정적 부정적 반응이 상존하고 있다. 일반적으로 공공의 영역에 대한 변화는 오랜 시간을 두고 지역과 사회의 문화가 스며들어가며 생겨나게 마련인데 전국적인 현실은 짧은 시간에 많은 변화를 요구하고 과거의 모습을 구태로 생각하여 쉽게 버리는 경향이 있다. 무분별한 개발위주의 공공행정과 공공디자인 사업이 올바른 진행되고 있는지 분야별로 새롭게 연구를 하여 볼 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 지역성을 살리면서 변화를 요구하는 방향으로 스토리텔링의 문제점을 분석하고 올바른 방향으로 접근을 시도하는데 의의가 있다. In this study changes in demand while keeping the locality of storytelling as a way to analyze problems and to attempt to access the right direction is meaningful.
