『심청전』을 통한 교육의 가능역(可能域) 연구

그간『심청전』을 통한 교육은 주로 학교 교과 교육 차원으로 이루어졌는데, 점차 그 작품 수용의 빈도가 낮아지고 교육적 관심 대상으로부터도 이탈되어 왔다. 또한 그 교육의 양상도 별다른 변화를 보이진 않아 답보상태에 있는 게 현실이다. 즉, 그 교육적 가치나 기능이 축소 또는 약화되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 그 작용력 측면에서도 한계를 드러내고 있다. 따라서 지금까지 교과 교육으로서 그 고유의 목표와 내용 및 방법을 갖고 『심청전』을 가르쳐 왔다면, 이제는 그 경직성을 벗어나 교육 일반으로서 작용할 수 있는 가능성을 논의할 필요가 있다. 이에 본고에서 논의된 내용을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기본 소양 교육의 차원에서 사고력과 정서, 의사소통 교육 등을 목적으로『심청전』을 수용할 수 있다. 삶과 죽음, 구원 문제 등에 대해 통찰하는 계기를 제공할 수 있는 『심청전』의 내용성은 학습자들의 사고력 신장에 적극 활용할 수 있다. 또, 다양하고도 극적인 정서가 표상된 점은 정서 교육 차원에서 수용할 수 있다. 아울러 『심청전』은 그 담론구조의 중층적 특성으로 인해 의사소통 교육 차원에서도 수용하기 적합하다. 둘째, 『심청전』은 전통 문화 속에서 형성되었고 그 핵심 주제가 보편적 가치로서 오랜 동안 수용되어 왔기 때문에, 인성 및 문화 교육의 제재로서 수용할만한 가치가 크다. 나아가 죽음의 상황 때문에 생긴 여러 부정적 심리를 떨쳐내고 새롭게 그 회복을 이루어 간다는 내용 등을 통해서는, 학습자로 하여금 그런 유사한 어려움 속에서도 근원적 소망을 지향하고 심리적 건강을 회복하도록 하는데 수용할 수 있다. 그리고 이런 치료 기능은 여러 교육 활동 장면에서 적용·발전시킬 수 있다. The educational worth or function of ``simcheongjeon`` has been reduced and weakened, even shown the action limit of the work. So we need to study on the educational possibility of the work in the general education realm. First, we can accept ``simcheongjeon`` to educate thoughts, emotions, communication in the elementary education. The contents of the work that can offer the chance to discern life, death and rescue can be applied to the extension of learners` thinking power positively. The various and dramatical emotional symbols can be accepted in the education of emotions. And the character of the complexity in the discourse construction can be accepted in the education of communication, discourse. Second, ``simcheongjeon`` which was producted in the traditional culture and whose the main theme has been accepted for a long time as the universal value has the acceptance as the material of the human nature or culture educations. Furthermore, the contents that some negative psychology from the situation of death were broken and the life was recovered again can make learners who are in the similar difficult situations go into the essential desire of the rescue, that is the contents can be accepted in the psychological cure to treat learners` psychological health and in various educational situations.

This study reconsidered the education of folktale in school and forecast its possibilities in various education scenes. The education of oral folktale and its orality that has been taught in Korean and Literature in the Korean curriculum is little and low qualified as compared with the necessity of Korean education. If the property are reflected in the education, it will contribute the aims of Literature, developing the community spirit. As Folktale is a literature based on the orality, it has some value as the materials for the oral education. It has some connections with the common communication and the written-text communication so it has the great possibility spreaded to the general education of communication. Specially, Folktale relating in the communication can be used to grow the ability of universal Korean and Literature activities. If the education is performed to understand the structure and the principle of the communication, using Folktale, it will be certain to grow the communication ability. And Folktale can be used for solving the vague fear or aversion to communication as well as enjoying plentiful and artistic experience for learners. Moreover, Folktale can contribute the understanding the essence of oral communication, and understanding Korean language culture and tradition relating with it. Of course, Folktale can contribute succeeding them creatively. In addition, we can use Folktale for the education to succeed and develop Korean Folklore creatively. And if we accept the orality of Folktale for the function of literature cure, it can reveal the reason of problems connecting with Folktale and can enlarge the way for the literature education. and if it is used for the education scene where Folktale is changed to various genres for learners, we can get great results for education. Because Folktale is easy to be changed to other genres and it has advantageous properties using the effect and the analysis of Folktale.

고소설의 독자(讀者) 연구

There are some types of readers of Korean classic novel ; the reader in the past when the novel was published, the present reader who is reading and will read the novel, and the imaginary reader who was supposed in the work, that is, the implied reader. Followings are the shorts of the result in this study related with the various readers. First, the reader of the past time were distributed into various social classes from the kings and the high officials who enjoyed the chinese novels to the commoners who accepted the Korean novels were transmitted by word of mouth. They recognized the novels criticized the society and the works made them open their closed minds and imagination. They may have open their view. The analysis of the postscript of novelists can help readers understand the specific characters of the works. Second, the present reader is the active person who can accept the texts in various situations and react to them. They can reinterpretate the meanings, apply them suiting imagination at the base of the present historical and social situations, and make the discourse that can be input in the real life. Third, there are the passive implied reader who believed the narrative and accepted the discourse and the active implied reader who judged the discourse situation for himself and reacted. The first can be appeared the discourse that the narrator delivers the message to the listener. The last can be appeared the discourse that the narrator goes back and shows the events dramatic or it delivers the message to the listener through the characters in the story. According to the attitude of the implied reader in the inner discourse in the text, the role of the real reader is changing. In short, by understanding the character of the past reader, the present reader of the Korean classic novel can recognize his position as the reader objectively. It makes him read the works more realistic and vivid. Also, understanding the position and characters of the implied reader through the discourse analysis of the text makes him read the works more deeply and abundantly.

개별 논문 : 고소설 당대의 독서 양상과 그 교육적 함의

본고는 고소설 당대 독자들의 독서 양상과 그 교육적 의미를 밝힌 연구이다. 독서 양상은 크게‘독서 행위’ 및 ‘독서 태도’ 로 나누어 고찰하였다. 우선, 독서 행위는 다음과 같이 도식화하여 정리할 수 있다. 고소설 당대 독자의독서 행위 시독(視讀) :눈으로 보며 소설 읽기묵독(默讀) : 눈으로 보며 소리 내지 않고 소설 읽기 낭독(朗讀) : 눈으로 보며 소리 내어 소설읽기 음독 청독(聽讀) : (音讀)남이 들려주는소설 듣기청담독(聽談讀) : 남이 이야기(말)로 들려주거나 읽어주는 소설 듣기청송서(聽誦書) : 남이 소리(노래)로 들려주는 소설 듣기이어서, 독서 태도로 아래와 같은 점들을 확인하였다. ①깨달음을 얻고자 한 태도, ②학업을 보완하려는 태도, ③ 몸과 마음의 병을 고치고 새롭게 하려는 태도, ④의미구성적 읽기 태도, ⑤독서 후 삶 속에서의 실천하려는 태도 등이상의 고소설 당대 독자의 독서 양상에서 찾아 본 교육적 의미는 다음과 같다. ① 공동체적 구술 소통을 기반으로 하는‘보거나 듣는’독서 곧, 청독은 신매체로 인해 구술적 소통이 확산되고 있는 오늘날, 그 독서 교육적 가능성을 확대하는 데에 참고할 수 있다. ② 송서나 판소리처럼 당대의 다양한 수용자들의 요구와 맥락을 끌어들여 독자들로 하여금 소설을 새롭게 읽도록 한 사례들은 장르 전환을 통한 고소설 수용 측면의 교육적 모델이 될만하다. ③ 당대 독자의 독서 태도들은 오늘날 독자들의 독서 태도로서도 여전히 유효하며, 특히‘의미구성적 읽기’의 제 양상은 독서 방법의 지도에까지 참고할 만하다. This is the study on Reading Manners of Korean classic novel in the Past time & Those Educational Implies. There are two types of Reading Manners. One is Reading Methods and the other is Reading Attitudes. First, Reading Methods can be arranged like this. Reading Methods Reading novels seeing with eyes Without sounding With sounding Vocal Listening to novels Reading one reads With story With sound or song Second, Reading Attitudes are like these. ①Attitude to gain meaning.②Attitude to supplement learning. ③ Attitude to heal the sickness of body and mind and to refresh. ④ Attitude of reconstructual reading. ⑤ Attitude to practice in life after reading. 개인발표 : 옛이야기 변용 교육의 가능역(可能域) 연구

There are two adaptations in base of folklore. One is adapting folklores to other genres, the other is adapting materials of other genre to folklores. This will be a very effective mechanism for developping culture-creating abilities by vitalizing literature activities of learners. Folklores can be adapted to novels, poems, plays, scenarios, and cartoons etc and are growing in importance in the general culture. Until now, its education merely followed the present situation, but a more structured and sophisticated preparation and action is needed from now. In the other hand, Adaptation to folklores is enlarging and controlling the contents area with learning materials, games, tourist contents and also with commercials, academic papers, marketing papers etc. The success of this will depend on its education hereafter. In the literature classes of today, education through adaptation in base of folklores is not being actively practiced. For this, `curriculum for the gifted` that was created bearing the special educational situation, can be acknowledged and used.

「채봉감별곡(彩鳳感別曲)」의 교육적 성격

이 논문에서는 고소설 「채봉감별곡(彩鳳感別曲)」이 갖는 교육적 성격을 살펴보았다. 우선 작품 외적 성격을 보면, 「채봉감별곡(彩鳳感別曲)」은 현행 교육과정의 정신 및 내용 [기본 방향 및 강조점] 측면에서 볼 때 이에 상응하는 내용적 성격을 띠고 있으며 문학 과목의 궁극적 목표를 구현하는 데에도 적절하다. 또한 고등학교 학생들의 지적 정의적 수준 에 맞아 학습이 용이하고 도덕적 사회적 발달에도 기여할 수 있는 내용으로 구성되어 있다 아울러 이 작품에 대한 관심과 높이 평가하려는 최근의 경향도 교육 내용으로서의 관심을 갖게 하는 요소가 된다. 다음으로 작품 내적 성격을 보면, 「채봉감별곡(彩鳳感別曲)」은 문학(소설)의 원리와 지식을 학습하는데 풍부한 자료를 제공한다. 소설이 갖추어야 할 인물·배경·구성·주제 측면에서 볼 때 작가의 섬세한 노력이 돋보이며 서사구조의 완성도가 비교적 높다. 또한 소설의 언어적 표현을 이해하기 위한, ‘서술’ 이나 ‘시점’ 등과 관련한 학습 요소가 작품 곳곳에 산재해 있다. 그리고 문학사 측면에서도 다양한 견해를 바탕으로 새롭게 논의될 부분이 많아 문학사 교육 자료로도 바람직하다. 아울러 이 작품은 적극적인 삶과 신뢰를 바탕으로 한 인간관계 등의 보편적이며 중요한 삶의 교훈을 줄 수 있으며 흥미로운 요소가 많아 문학 교과를 넘어 다양한 교육적 가치를 함께 가지고 있다. 더불어 작품의 완결성을 통해 상상력·사고력 등을 기를 수 있는 내용적 가치도 있다 나아가 삶의 문제로 환치할 수 있는 상황적 요소가 제재 속에 다양하게 들어 있어 문학생활화 측면에서도 얼마든지 활용이 가능하다. We researched for educational characteristics of a korean romance(classical novel), ChaeBong-GamByoelGok in this thesis. First, let's research for the outer characteristics of the feature. ChaeBong-GamByoelGok has a correspondence with the traits of contents of the current educational curriculums in the view of the subject matters and the mind and it is an appropriate way to realize the goals of a literature curriculum. It is highly capable of studying because it is suited to the intellectual and emotional level of high school students, and the contents can contribute to the ethic and social development of the students. Next, let's research for the inner characteristics of the feature. ChaeBong-GamByoelGok provides plenty of information for studying the principles and the knowledge of literatures (romances). Author's fine sense shows it extraordinary in the view of its characters, back grounds, structures and subjects, and its narrative structure has a relatively high quality. The academic elements that can help understand linguistic expressions of the romances such as 'narration' and 'point of view' are scattered in several parts of the romance. Moreover, this romance can provide a crucial and universal lesson such as an active life and human relations based on reliance, and it has a variable educational value, not just as a literature subject, because of the interesting factors it has.
