The aims of this paper are to test the performance of several prevalent non-survey techniques and find the best location quotient for Korea to establish the regional input-output model. For this purpose, the Leontief inverse matrices are deduced with the national input-output tables and the regional employment data. The results are compared with benchmark tables which are issued based on the survey. Statistically, MAPE (mean absolute percentage error) was computed to measure how far the estimated multipliers from the ``true`` ones. The (Flegg et al. Location Quotient) and (Augmented Flegg et al. Location Quotient) methods are demonstrated as the better versions for constructing regional input-output models in Korea. The results show that the best Location Quotients for Daegu and Gyeongbuk area are the with =0.5, and =0.6, respectively. This finding should be helpful for analyzing regional area when the data is difficult to collect.
