At present, the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) measures the horizontal solar irradiation with time in 33 areas. Among these measured data, this study analyzed the tendency of applying the new analysis method by using the horizontal solar irradiation with the time which was measured in 18 regions across the country for ten years from 2005 to 2014. The method applied to the analysis is to compare the value of the annual total horizontal solar irradiance for one year with the value of that for the previous year of each year, and give +1 when it is higher than the reference ratio, 0 if it is within the reference ratio, and -1 when it is lower than the reference ratio. The characteristics of each region and nationwide characteristics according to the change of each reference ratio were evaluated and analyzed. Through the analysis results, the analysis method applied in this study could be well describe the characteristics of the solar irradiance during some years.

Recently, the authors of this paper proposed newly the correlation model to calculate the horizontal global solar radiation in Korea based the Zhang-Huang (ZH) model proposed in 2002 for China. Previous study was pronounced the correlation with a new term of the duration of sunshine proved as being closely related with the hourly solar radiation in Korea into ZH model. And then another modified correlation for the regions without measuring cloud cover was proposed and evaluated the accuracy and validity for those regions. So, this study was performed to propose modified correlation to calculate the horizontal global solar irradiance of non-measuring cloud-cover regions. Finally, this study proposed the new correlation that could well predict hourly and daily total solar radiation for all regions, various seasons, and various weather conditions including overcast and clear, with higher accuracy and lower error than other models proposed ever before in Korea for non-measuring cloud-cover regions.

This study was conducted to propose a way to increase the accuracy and precision of 𝛽-ray measurement equipment. Statistical processing results of equivalent evaluation data from 2016 to 2021 confirmed that the concentration of micro dust measured by 𝛽-ray measurement equipment was higher than that of micro dust sampler. According to quarterly data, it was confirmed that the data from the third quarter (July to September) showed a different trend from other periods, which is assumed to be due to weather conditions. This study indicates that automatic micro-dust measurement equipment evaluation at air pollution measuring stations during the third quarter should be excluded. The evaluation cycle should be changed from once every two years to quarterly. In addition, when the criterion for determining equivalence evaluation falls within the range of the slope and intercept values of the existing trend line, it is necessary to evaluate the R<sup>2</sup> value together and reduce the slope from 0.9-1.1 to 0.9-1.0.
EWP 모듈 내 임펠러의 형상에 따른 펌프 성능에 관한 연구

In a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, a coolant is required to cool the engine, and an electric water pump (EWP) circulates the coolant. In this study, the impeller geometry in the module was optimized based on the design of an experimental method to improve the performance of the EWP, and the results were analyzed. Three design variables were selected: the inlet angle, outlet angle, and blade thickness. The analysis results showed that the outlet angle had the largest impact on pump performance, and we confirmed that the larger the outlet angle, the higher the efficiency or lift of the pump. By optimizing the shape of the impeller blade, we observed that the lift increased by 0.89 m and the pump efficiency increased by 2.8%.

This study determined the effects of impeller design optimization on the performance of a water pump based on an axial motor. Impeller design variables were selected based on the number, height, and length of the blades, and a simulation based on computer fluid mechanics was performed to predict the flow of the working fluid around the impeller. Factorial design analysis showed that all design variables significantly affected the pump performance, and response surface methodology analysis revealed that the performance of the pump was maximized as the number of blades, height, and length all increased within the design range. The study confirmed that the optimized design improved the head and efficiency by 11.6% and 12.1%, respectively, as compared with the reference shape. With the optimized design, the pressure difference between the pump inlet and outlet increased and a faster flow rate was generated within the pump, even when the same flow rate was supplied.

The early construction of the internet based ship basic planning supporting system based on the concurrent engineering and the internet technology is essential as a means for the improvement of technology and design productivity our ship building industry is facing currently. Further more, technological base construction for the construction of the cooperation system on the level of ship building industry is necessary for the technological base security to maintain and develop ship building industry continuosly in the 21st century of the information industry environment and for the technological improvement of the middle and small shipyard falling behind relatively and finally for the breaking through our ship building industry environment in which inter-enterprise competition is deeping. In this study, we designed the frame-system of the ship design supporting system and presented the development scenario based on core element technology.
