For the dermal drug delivery system of local anesthetics (lidocaine HCl, and benzocaine), the drugs were formulated as hydrogel. The experiments of the formulation design were summarized as below, the lipid-water partition coefficients of drugs were evaluated and the vehicles with different concentrations of ethanol, glycerine and various enhancers were prepared for the formulation of hydrogel. After using these vehicles, hydrogel were formulated. The gelling agent was poloxamer 407. The resulting preparations were evaluated using in vitro drug permeation and drug accumulation in hairless mouse skin. The preparations were also evaluated by their viscosity and stability, In addition, using the tail-flick analgesia test, analgesic activity of the gel was compared with that of commercial cream.

Purpose : This study aimed to investigate the characteristics and risk factors associated with pressure injuries related to medical devices among patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Method : A retrospective study analyzed data from 462 ICU patients. Statistical analyses, including independent t-tests, Fisher’s exact tests, and logistic regression were performed to analyze the data. Results : Among the 154 subjects, there were a total of 198 medical device–related pressure injuries (MDRPI). Stage 2 and deep tissue pressure injuries were the most frequent. MDRPI occurred most frequently on the face, with nasogastric tubes being its leading cause, followed by endotracheal tubes. The risk factors for MDRPI included male sex (odds ratio [OR]=1.78, 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.12-2.83), department at the time of ICU admission (OR=4.29, 95% CI=2.01-9.15), post-surgery ICU admission (OR=0.43, 95% CI=0.25-0.73), application of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machines (OR=2.72, 95% CI=1.06-6.95), number of medical devices (OR=1.16, 95% CI=1.05-1.30), inotropic drug administration (OR=2.33, 95% CI=1.19-4.60), and sedative use (OR=2.53, 95% CI=1.17-5.45). Conclusion : These results enable the determination of the characteristics and risk factors associated with MDRPI. It is crucial to acknowledge the risk factors for MDRPI in ICU patients and establish a prevention strategy.

해양, 지면, 하천등은 대기에 비해 상대적으로 느리게 반응하지만, 2주 이상의 연장 중기 예측성의 향상을 위해서는 반드시 고려해야 하는 핵심 요소이다. 지면의 물 수지 측면에서 강수는 증발산, 유출, 토양 수분의 합과 균형을 이루고 있다. 모델 내에서 물은 연직 방향으로만 이동을 하지만, 실제로는 수평 방향으로도 흐르고 있다. 수평 방향의 물의 흐름을 고려함으로써 더 정교한 대기-해양의 상호작용을 가능하게 하는 요소가 하천유수모델이다. 본 연구에서는 한국형수치예보모델(KIM)에 하천유수모델을 결합하고 이것이 모의 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 첫째, KIM이 모의하는 유출을 재분석 자료와 비교하여 수평 분포 및 계절 변동을 검증하였다. 둘째, 하천유수모델 가운데 Total Runoff Intergrating Pathways(TRIP) 및 Cathchment-based Macro-scale Floodplain model(CaMa-Flood)를 선정하고 KIM에 결합하여 두 모델 간 하천에서 해양으로의 방출량의 차이를 분석하였다. 또한, 해양결합모델에서 하천의 담수 유출이 해양의 해수면온도 및 염도, 해양 순환에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 셋째, 하천유수 결합모델이 태풍 모의 및 강수 사례에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.
교육개혁 실현을 위한 교수 학습 방법의 개선 : 정보 통신 매체의 활용을 중심으로 The Use of Telecommunication Media

획일적이고 주입식 위주의 경직된 교육 방법은 우리 교육의 고질적인 문제이며, 정보사회가 요구하는 인력을 양성하기에 부적합하다. 정보사회는 창의적이고 능동적인 문제 해결가로서 과학기술 소양을 갖춘 전문인을 필요로 한다. 이에 교육의 현존 문제를 해결하고 사회적 변화 요구에 대처하고자 최근 교육개혁방안이 발표되어 추진 중이며, 교육개혁의 비전을 앞당겨서 구현하고자 정부와 민간의 지원으로 교육정보화를 위한 노력이 기울여지고 있다. 교육정보화를 통한 교육개혁의 실현을 위해서는 정보 통신 매체를 활용한 교수 학습 방법의 변화가 필요하다. 정보 통신 매체는 상호작용을 촉진할 수 있으며, 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 누구나 주체가 되어 교수 학습을 할 수 있도록 한다. 정보 통신매체가 갖는 잠재적인 기능을 구현하여 교육개혁을 실현하기 위해서는 매체의 도입을 사회개혁으로 인식하고 관련된 환경, 사용자, 교육 실천 등 여러 가지 사회 변인들을 고려해야 한다. 이에 본고는 이와 같은 입장을 정리하고 고려해야할 사항들을 제시하였다. Now we live in Information Society. However, our educational system still has many unresolved problems, which do not fit to what the new society requires. Information Society requires creative and active problem-solvers who are technology-literate. Recently, Educational Reform Movement had begun in our education in order to solve the problems that our educational system has for a long time, and to educate people to be prepared for the new living and working environment. The Educational Reform Movement emphasizes the need for educational uses of telecommunication media. Media can be used for education for four basic purposes: tutorial, exploratory, application and communication. In order to utilize the full potential of educational media and thus to achieve the purpose of educational reform, educators should consider the use of educational media as 'social innovation'. From this socio-technical perspective, educational system should be considered as to be comprised of 'people' using 'technology' in order to perform 'work practices' in a given 'environment'. This paper discusses such perspectives in detail, and important things to be considered in order to achieve the purpose of educational reform using telecommunication media.

In this study, we aimed to analyze changes in the residual levels of buprofezin during milling, washing, cooking, and processing of rice to make porridge, rice cakes, and cookies. The pesticide residue levels in rice were analyzed using high-performance liquid chromatograph with UV detector. The residual buprofezin level in brown rice was 21.8 mg/kg, and after milling, that in polished rice was 1.73 mg/kg, with elimination of 92.1% of the pesticide residue. The rate of reduction in buprofezin levels during brown rice washing was 21.6- 57.3%, and the residual level of buprofezin during polished rice washing decreased by 27.4-67.2%. When brown rice was cooked using an electric cooker and pressure cooker, buprofezin levels reduced by 51.7 and 55.5%, respectively. When washed polished rice was cooked using an electric cooker and pressure cooker, buprofezin levels reduced by 83.6 and 82.3%, respectively. When washed polished rice was soaked for 30 min and then cooked using an electric cooker and pressure cooker, buprofezin levels reduced by 87.1 and 88.0%, respectively. After processing polished rice into porridge, rice cakes, and cookies, the residue level of buprofezin decreased by 89.7, 82.0, and 79.4%, respectively, compared to the residual level in polished rice. In conclusion, various rice processing methods decrease the residue levels of buprofezin.
