Performances of power generation engine were investigated with syngas from RPF. A stoker type, multi-staged pyrolysis-gasification system, was employed for syngas generation and the syngas was refined with the sequential cleaning processes composed of a gas cooler, a bag filter and a wet scrubber. 20 kWe commercial syngas power generation engine was adopted to burn the cleaned syngas which is mainly composed of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane. The performance of the engine was tested with various syngas compositions and the results were compared to LNG case. Electric power output, exhaust gas temperature, and emission characteristics were measured, and the efficiency of engine generation was investigated as a function of load of power generation.

Application of syngas from RPF(Refused Plastic Fuel) on a power generation engine is investigated in a pilot scale test rig. The syngas was generated from a stoker type pyrolysis-gasification system of multi-staged waste pyrolysis process and experiments were conducted on a 20㎾e commercial syngas power generation engine. The syngas is mainly composed of hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and methane and the performance of the engine was tested with various syngas composition. Electric power output and exhaust gas emissions are monitored for syngas and compared with the result of LNG case. This is a preliminary result of the application of waste syngas on a power generation engine.
바이오매스 가스화 유래 tar의 Solid materials를 이용한 개질에 관한 실험적 연구

Biomass gasification is an important option of renewable energy production. During the gasification process, tar is inevitably produced and it can cause many mechanical and chemical problems like plugging and fouling of pipes or oxidation of the gasification system. In this study, tar reforming was investigated by using solid materials such as sand, activated carbon and dolomite. The experimental apparatus consists of two reactors which are connected in series: a lab scale atmospheric bubbling bed gasifier and a secondary fixed/bubbling bed tar reformer. A preliminary result will be presented.

화석 연료의 고갈과 환경문제가 사회적으로 부각되며 청정에너지 개발에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 바이오매스는 환경오염물질이 적고 후처리 공정을 거치면 고급에너지로의 전환이 용이하여 대체 에너지로 각광받고 있다. 이 연구는 이러한 바이오매스를 이용하여 바이오 합성가스를 생산하고 정제 과정을 통해 청정한 합성가스를 생산하는 것을 목적으로 하고 수행되었다. lab scale 바이오매스 가스화기를 이용하여 스팀 가스화를 수행하였고 이에 따라 생성된 합성가스를 스크러버를 통해 타르 및 분진 등을 제거하는 1차 정제 후 메탄올 흡수탑을 통해 대표적인 산성가스 인 H<sub>2</sub>S와 COS를 제거하였다. 실험결과 산성가스를 ppm 오더 이하로 제거할 수 있음을 확인하였다

This study was performed to grasp the situation of agricultural accounting education performed by rural development institutions and provide the improvement plans for educational efficiency. For the study persons in charge of agricultural accounting education in the institutions were surveyed with questionnaire including educational records and recognitions of persons in charge. Results showed that the institutions on average did not provide sufficient amount of education for farm recording or agricultural accounting system even though the institutions had sufficient hardwares for the education of agricultural accounting system. The persons in charge of education recognized the importance and necessity of farm recording and agricultural accounting education but admitted the ineffectiveness of the education. For the improvement of the education, customized learning system and follow-up management for agricultural accounting education should be considered. In addition, good lecturers, farm recording by farmers, unified control system of the institutions for agricultural accounting education, farmers` perception of the necessity of agricultural accounting system, incentives through institutionalization of the farm recording, consulting services with high quality were also needed to be seriously considered.

We have prepared a DEMO conveyor device for conveying a large 8G class glass sheet using ahorizontal air-cushion system. This device consists of the body frame and the driving frame that are combined to realize a frame for conveying glass without any contact. The driving frame comprises an air flotation table (bed), drive roller supported at both ends, and ASU. Part of the ASU serves to control the airflow as the chamber consists of a porous pad and fan. Fiber filters replace the porous pad and axial fans serve as an air compressor. In addition, to determine the appropriate glass levitation from the air table, this study examined the design specifications of the applied filter (discharge speed of HEPA and ULPA filters, and flow rate) as well as the height of the and the proper supporting roller height (14mm). Then, after adjusting the position of the ASU and the number of ASU srequired to configure the UNIT air floating C/V, we analyzed the height and flatness of the glass and derived the appropriate layout (1140-mm distance between ASUs).

This paper presents an applicable basic design that can configure non-contact levitation table for conveying a large sheet of glass. The suggested air levitation table consists of a series of air chambers with porous pads and fans as the conveyor system. The air supply chambers are arrayed to supply an adequately strong upward airflow for supporting the glass. Levitation is controlled by the size and discharge velocity, of the chamber arrays, as well as the glass supporting height. After pre-evaluation of the glass rigidity and the filer functional performance, a one-way fluid structure interface (FSI) analysis is performed for predicting pressure and deflection working of the 8G glass in the transverse and longitudinal directions, respectively. After comparing calculated levels of flatness of the glass, it determines the chamber array for the linear non-contact conveying motion.
