        모듈방식 FRP 선체를 위한 Moulding-In 개념 기반의 접합 이음부 개발에 관한 연구

        전통적인 FRP 선체 제작에는 mould가 요구되며, mould의 높은 제작비용은 FRP 선박 제작자에게 비용부담을 주고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 강선 건조에서 사용되는 블록 혹은 모듈 방식의 제작기법에 착안한 modular construction 방안이 제시되었다. 이 제작방안을 FRP 선체에 효율적으로 적용하기 위해서는 설계 및 제작 측면에서 간략하면서도 구조적 안정성을 갖는 접합 이음부 개발이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 모듈방식의 FRP 선체 제작을 위해 moulding-in 개념을 기반으로 한 경제적인 접합 이음부 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. FRP 샌드위치 판을 대상으로 step, scarf-step 그리고 scarf 이음부 형상을 갖는 moulded-in을 수지주입식진공성형 공정에 도입하여 성공적으로 접합된 FRP 샌드위치판 을 제작하였다. 이에 대해 구조적 안정성 평가를 목적으로 인장 및 4점 굽힘 시험 그리고 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 시험과 해석결과에 대한 비교 연구를 통해 본 연구에서 개발된 접합 이음 내용이 모듈방식의 FRP 선체 제작에 적용 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다. This paper deals with the development of bonded joints for fibre reinforced plastic (FRP) hull structures using moulding-in concept. Focus is placed on bonded in-plane connections between two adjacent panels that could form the boundaries of hull structural module. Traditional construction in FRP hull structures requires the construction of a mould, usually from steel or aluminium. In this construction the FRP materials are laid in the mould, and resin is saturated, and then the structural member is cured. This is expensive since it involves the fabrication of metal hull mould for every different hull type, which is sacrificed after the production of the FRP ship. One way of encouraging greater use of FRP in ship construction is to investigate the possible construction of FRP hull structures in a similar manner to metallic ships, that is in terms of blocks or modules. Such a manner of construction would eliminate the need for expensive hull moulds permitting greater flexibility in the construction of FRP ships. The main issue then would be the design and construction of adequate bonded connections between adjacent panels. To fulfill this object, the simplified and automated way of manufacturing joint edge shapes for bonded joints is developed, and their structural assessment is performed in both experimentally and numerically.

      • 손상된 선체 구조물의 위험도 평가에 관한 연구

        This paper deals with the risk assessment of damaged hull structures to be incorporated in initial structural design stage by utilising simple but effective probabilistic and empirical mathematical models. As on-going effort to obtain the suitable mathematical models for the subject concerned in this paper, existing related models from the literature are reviewed and studied. These models are expected to provide a basis for the derivation of the efficient mathematical models and, subsequently, they will be keys for developing the plug-in functional module to support "Risk based Ship Design System for Safety(SDPack)" computer program, that is being developed by Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute(KORDI). Procedures for assessing risk of damaged hull structures from the viewpoint of hull strength and understanding this risk in initial structural design level are investigated. A part of these procedures outlined so far is described in this paper, and it is the probabilistic data of damaged ships due to collision, contact and grounding showing the location and size of damage in conjunction with ship types. Also the residual strength assessment of damaged hull structures is performed based on the existing models from the literature. Finally, future research plans and expecting outcome are commented.

        社會主義 體制의 變化와 權威의 위기 : 고르바초프 執權下의 蘇聯, 1985∼1991 The Soviet Union under Gorbachev, 1985∼1991

        In the course of perestroika, the Soviet Union has experienced the breakdown of the existing socialist regime. The once all-powerful Communist Party has been stripped of its "leading role" in Soviet society. Further still, Gorbachev as the Soviet leader could only watch his powers evaporate while state institutions ceased to function. The abortive coup of August 1991 showed that the Soviet Union has been gripped by a crisis of political authority. Focussing on the pre-coup efforts of the center to deal with various socio-economic and political strains upon the regime, this essay examines the collapse of the socialist regime in terms of authority crisis and the ensuing legitimacy vacuum. It argues that the crisis is due more to the diffuse factors that have been placing strains on the regime over a long period than to the ability of the political leadership to deal with these contingencies.

        Study on Stiffened-Plate Structure Response in Marine Nuclear Reactor Operation Environment

        As the regulations on greenhouse gas emissions at sea become strict, efforts are being made to minimize environmental pollutants emitted from fossil fuels used by ships. Considering the large sizes of ships in conjunction with securing stable supplies of environment-friendly energy, interest in nuclear energy to power ships has been increasing. In this study, the neutron irradiation that occurs during the nuclear reactor operation and its effect on the structural responses of the stiffened-plate structures are investigated. This is done by changing the material properties of DH36 steel according to the research findings on the neutron-irradiated steels and then performing the structural response analyses of the structures using analytical and finite-element numerical solutions. Results reveal the influence of neutron irradiation on the structural responses of the structures. It is shown that both the strength and stiffness of the structures are affected by the neutron-irradiation phenomenon as their maximum flexural stress and deflection are increased with the increase in the amount of neutron irradiation. This implies that strength and stiffness need to be considered in the design of ships equipped with marine nuclear reactors.
