디지털정보기기의 메뉴 설계 방법에 관한 연구 : Navigation Media menu를 중심으로

Lately, digital devices are widely used and the functions of digital devices are becoming more various and intelligent for human's convenient life due to advancing technology. Therefore, users still have trouble using digital devices even though technology is developed. One of the solutions for this problem is to structuralize the contents of digital devices based on user experiences and mental models. The purpose of this study is to understand structuralized car navigation media menu that has Hierarchical structure among the contents classification method through Card Sorting Test method. Structuralizing was possible through Open card sorting test and Close card sorting test on 17 subjects, and found how users classify the contents when there's more than two categories overlap. Also, we found that Card sorting test is appropriate for classifying categories or structuralizing menus. Therefore, in further studies, we will study about appropriate test method including Card sorting test when structuralizing menu through case study for each devices that has various structures.
유한차분 시간영역법을 사용한 도파관 불연속 해석을 위한 1차원 모드 PML

PML(Perfectly Matched Layer)은 넓은 주파수 대역에서 우수한 흡수 성능을 나타내므로 분산 특성이 강한 도파관 구조에 적합한 흡수경계조건이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 PML의 계산 효율을 향상시키기 위해 새로운 알고리듬을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 입/출력 포트의 한 변에서 필드를 모드로 전개한 후, 모드에 따라 홉수 경계조건을 적용한다. 제안된 방법은 1차원으로 계산 영역을 해석하므로 메모리와 계산 시간이 절약된다. 두 께가 두꺼운 비대칭 아이리스를 갖는 WG-90 구형도파관을 기존의 PML과 본 논문에서 제안한 1차원 모드 P PML을 적용하여 유한차분 시간영역법으로 해석을 한다. 제안된 방법의 계산 효율이 매우 뛰어남을 수치 계산을 통해 알 수 있다. The Perfectly Matched Layer(PML) provide good performance in absorption over a wide frequency range and is an appropriate ABC for waveguides with high dispersion. In this paper, a novel algorithm is proposed to improve the computational efficiency of the PML. In the input and output ports, the fields are decomposed into a series of modes, and then an appropriate ABC is applied to each mode. CPU time and memory storage requirements are greatly reduced, since the computational region is analyzed in one dimension. A WG-90 rectangular waveguide with a thick asymmetric iris is analyzed by Finite-Difference Time-Domain(FDTD) simulations with the conventional PML and the proposed one-dimensional (1-D) PML. Numerical results show that the computational efficiency is significantly improved by the proposed method.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to estimate muscle defect by ultrasonography in the patients with secondary deformities of the lip. We investigated the association between the muscle defect in the repaired cleft lip and the philtral appearance not only at resting state but also maximal puckering. Methods: From December 2006 to November 2007, 52 children were evaluated after primary or secondary cheiloplasty. Digital photographs were taken both from the front and both three quarter views in repose and at maximal pucker. Video clips were also taken in repose and at maximal pucker. A panel of four, scored the philtral ridge and dimple seen on these photographs and videos by using two visual analog scales. Eminence of the philtral ridge was scored by a 5 point grading scale, from "conspicuous groove" to "normal philtral ridge" and the philtral dimple was scored by 3 point grading scale, from "no dimple" to "prominent dimple". Ultrasound images of the upper lip were made using a linear array transducer at the resting position of the lip and evaluated by a single radiologist. Results: The philtral ridge eminence scored $2.79{\pm}0.54$ and $1.40{\pm}0.53$ at resting and maximal pucker, correlating with "flat" and "conspicous groove". The philtral dimpling scored $1.44{\pm}0.53$ and $2.27{\pm}0.66$ at resting and maximal pucker, correlating with "no dimple" and "slight dimple". Ultrasound imaging showed the average muscle dehiscence to be $3.78{\pm}2.14$ mm at resting position. Correlation between the muscle defect in ultrasound imaging and philtral ridge eminence at rest was statistically significant (p<0.050), but was not significant (p=0.756) at maximal pucker using Spearman's rank correlation. Correlation between the muscle defect in ultrasound imaging and philtral dimpling was not statistically significant both at rest (p=0.920) and at maximal pucker (p=0.815) using Spearman's rank correlation. Conclusion: Quantitative assessment of the muscle defect using ultrasonography correlates with the static philtral appearance, but does not correlate with the dynamic appearance. Also, the size of the muscle defect does not show any correlation with the philtral dimpling. Our findings reveal that ultrasound imaging partially reflect static appearance of philtrum but cannot reflect dynamic appearance and suggest the need for further research to evaluate dynamic appearance.
Sentinel-1 레이더 식생지수와 AutoML을 이용한Sentinel-2 NDVI 결측화소 복원

위성영상 기반의 정규식생지수(normalized difference vegetation index, NDVI)는 넓은 영역에서 주기적인정보를 수집할 수 있어 산림 및 농업 모니터링에 주로 사용된다. 그러나 광학센서 기반 식생지수는 구름 등의영향으로 일부 지역에서 결측을 가지기 때문에, 본 연구는 전천후 및 주야에 관계없이 관측 가능한 Sentinel-1의합성 개구 레이더(synthetic aperture radar, SAR) 영상을 활용하여 Sentinel-2 NDVI 결측값을 복원하는 모델을개발하였다. 이는 광학적으로 관측이 어려운 구름 조건이나 야간에도 NDVI를 추정할 수 있는 잠재력을 보여준다. Automated machine learning (AutoML)을 활용한 비선형 결측복원모델의 5폴드(fold) 교차검증 결과, 절대오차 7.214E-05, 상관계수 0.878의 NDVI 복원 성능을 보였다. 이를 통해 시공간 연속적인 NDVI 생산 방법론을발전시켜, 전천후 식생 모니터링에 필요한 정보 생산에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
한 손을 이용한 내비게이션의 한글 문자 입력 인터페이스에 대한 사용자 실험

Drivers normally operate an in-vehicle navigation system with their one hand or even one fingertip. When they type a korean word, they should use a korean virtual keyboard. There're several virtual korean keyboard systems, such as Qwerty, Alphabetic, Narat-gul and Chun-ji-in-systems. An in-vehicle navigation should offer one of these system 0; sometimes several systems. In this study drivers were tested with 4 different types of korean input systems and through this test, the question, "Which virtual keyboard is the most effective and reliable to the drivers?", will be answered.

The construction of underpass work is variously affecting on the rail roadbed and underground structure resulting in greatly influencing the safe operation of train. Owing to this many non-open type underpass methods passing under the railroad structure are being actually proposed. Accordingly the ground movement characteristics and rail roadbed affection shall be considered in planning, designing, and executing the underpass work in order to minimize the influence on the safety security for train operation and its surrounding. The analysis on the cause for ground movement is required in order to evaluate the influence of rail roadbed followed by the non-open type method, and the relationship with the soil amount removed underground and the upper and surrounding deformation distribution is required to be established. Accordingly, in this study the optimum miniature model is selected considering the national geological condition and the operational charateristics of high speed and general trains and the settlement and elevated pattern of the upper ground followed by the typical ground excavation type is attempted to be evaluated.

The study on mechanical behavior of the structure at the site includes experimental method and numerical analysis method. Experimental method is categorized into true-scale test and laboratory model test. A laboratory model test is to monitor the failure mechanism with a model simulated similar with a real ground so as to identify the quantitative result, while a true-scale model test is the approach which enables to identify the potential problems that may occur with a simulated construction situation similar with a real site circumstance. Thus this study was intended to carry out the experimental test of non open-cut excavation by pipe roof method which is mostly common in domestic sites. as well as was aimed at identifying the ground behavior occurred during pipe penetration using laboratory model test. Appropriate reduced-scale model was selected, taking into account of domestic geological characteristics and operation characteristics of traditional and high-speed rail trains and the qualitative evaluation of displacement was carried out based on a certain ground loss volume depending on excavation after categorizing trackbed settlement pattern by depth of top soil.
