Recently, concerns about energy conservation resulting to low carbon - green growth is getting sharply increased. Also is the interest risen in the green building technologies like renewable energy, resource conservation, comfortable indoor environment. So many buildings have obtained Green Building Certificates. Especially in the years of 2007 and 2008 many school buildings have obtained Green Building Certificates. This study aims to compare and analyze the 16 assessed green schools, to suggest the much improved Green Building Certification Criteria for schools and consequently to give the certified green schools the much more environment superiority than not ones.

A lot of buildings are applied curtain wall system instead of multi unit wall and reinforced concrete structure. So, the indoor environment changes plentifully according to application of new outer skin system. The many fastning units are established at stone finished curtain wall and the fastning unit lead heat bridge. So, the environment problems are occurred like air conditioning energy consumption increase and surface condensation, inside condensation of insulation material<br/> The aim of this study is to know that the heat transmission feature of fastening system using stone finished curtain wall. The heat performance of each curtain wall materials is measured through the mock-up test and the use of insulation materials is verified for improvement of insulation performance.
업무용 친환경건축물인증 개정 전ㆍ후 기준의 비교분석에 관한 연구

The Green Building Certification Criteria (GBCC) which is used to evaluate the energy and environmental performance of buildings was revised and enforced on July 1, 2010. Concerns about the Green Building Certification System (GBCS) are sharply increasing due to the 'Low Carbon and Green Growth' declared by President Myung Bak Lee, and especially because all public buildings equal to or larger than 10,000㎡ are obligated to obtain the Certification. The objective of this study is to check the reliability of weighting factors and scoring difficulties in all assessment items of the new version of GBCC on the basis of the case study results by the new GBCC even though more researches are needed. In this paper, the old and new versions of GBCC were reviewed and the difficulties in obtaining the certification by the new version were analyzed through case studies. The results showed that the subject buildings obtained lower scores in almost all assesment items because of the upgraded criteria and weighting factors.
친환경학교시설의 유지관리 조사를 통한 친환경건축물인증제도의 개선방안에 관한 연구

The number of buildings certified by GBCS(Green Building Certification System) has increased, especially in school facilities recently. It seems to be resulted from growing interest in 'Low Carbon and Green Growth'. But new version of the GBCS is urgently needed because the initial GBCS has been used too long time without any fundamental update. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the improved GBCC(Green Building Certification Criteria). For this, the enforcement background and developing process of GBCS were reviewed and a spot survey was conducted to find out the poor maintenance of adopted technologies and the problems in applying the GBCC for the certified school facilities operated for longer than 1 year. The new version of GBCS including GBCC based on the result of this study is hopefully turned up to be enforced soon, resulting in marking conspicuous distinctions between certified school and ordinary school.
국내 공동주택 관련 인증제도의 세부 항목에 대한 비교 분석에 관한 연구

A various building certification systems are being enforced in Korea. However, the enforcement of many building certification systems has brought on the concerned people's confusion and the operation of various building certification systems which have similar assesment items causes much time and economical losses. Therefore, in this paper, the features of the GBCS(Green Building Certification System), Housing Performance Indication System, Building Energy Rating System, and Green Home Standard and Performance Evaluation System are compared and the correlations among each building certification system are analysed. As a result, it is presented that a considerable number of assessment items were so similar and identical that integration of building certification systems is needed for effective operation of these systems.

Congenital epulis is a rare benign tumor occurring on the anterior maxillary gingiva, also known as granular cell tumor of the newborn or Neumann`s tumor, which is seen only in the newborn and is different from other granular cell tumors. Congenital epulis occurs exclusively in female newborns eight to ten fold higher than in males. It can protrude out of the newborn`s mouth to prevent normal closure of mouth and interfere with respiration or feeding. The treatment of choice for large symptomatic epulis is simple surgical resection. Wide surgical excision is not required, because no recurrences have been reported. This report describes a case of congenital epulis occurring on the mandibular gingiva, and typical immunohistochemical stain findings.
산전 진단된 수신증에 동반된 선천성 기형 및 염색체 이상

목적: 산전 초음파의 발달로 수신증의 발견 빈도는 증가하고 있으며 진단시기는 점점 빨라지고 있으나, 검사지침이나 자연경과, 치료방침과 대한 명확한 지침은 부족한 실정이다. 저자들은 수신증으로 진단받는 신생아들에 동반된 선천성 기형의 종류와 염색체 이상에 대해 알아 봄으로써 출생 후 환자관리에 도움이 되고자 하였다. 방법: 2000년 1월부터 2008년 12월까지 산전 초음파에서 수신증이 발견되어 인제대 부산백병원에서 출생 후 3일 이후 1개월 이내 초음파 검사에서 수신증으로 진단된 297명, 381 신단위를 대상으로 의무기록을 후향적으로 분석하였다. 초음파소견에서 신우의 전후 길이가 5mm 이상인 경우를 수신증으로 정의하였고, The Society for Fetal Urology (SFU)의 기준에 따라 분류하여 수신증의 정도에 따라 동반 기형 및 염색체 이상의 종류 및 빈도를 알아보았다. 결과: 염색체이상의 빈도는 297예 중 31예(11%)였으며, trisomy 15예, deletion 8예, duplication 2예, 성염색체 이상 4예 이었으며, 가장 흔한 염색체 이상은 21 Trisomy, Turners syndrome, 상염색체 결실 순이었다. 수신증의 빈도와 달리 염색체 이상은 여아에서 남아보다 빈도가 2배 정도 높았으며, 일측성과 양측성 수신증에서 염색체 이상의 빈도 차이는 없었다. 동반된 기형은 요로생식기 기형이 46.5%, 심혈관계 기형이 22.8%, 소화기계 기형이 10.2% 중추신경계 기형이 11.1%, 안면기형이 7.1%, 기타 기형이 2.3%를 차지하였다. 수신증으로 진단받은 신생아 중, SFU Grade 3, 4인 중등도 이상의 수신증일수록 선천성 기형이 동반된 빈도가 높았으며, 동반된 기형의 수가 많을수록 염색체 이상의 빈도가 높았다. 결론: 수신증이 있는 신생아에서는 요로생식계 및 위장관계 기형에 대한 면밀한 방사선 검사 및 신체검사가 필요하며, 특히 동반된 기형이 발견된 경우에는 염색체 검사도 시행하는 것이 분만 후 신생아 관리에 도움이 될 것이다. Purpose: With the increasing use of antenatal sonography, fetal hydronephrosis has been reported more frequently. But, despite extensive clinical and scientific research much controversy still exists about the assessment and management of hydronephrosis. We performed a retrospective study to determine the frequency of associated malformations and chromosomal defects in prenatally diagnosed hydronephrosis. Methods: The records of 297 neonates who were diagnosed with hydronephrosis through antenatal ultrasonographic screening, were retrospectively analyzed. They were confirmed at 3 days to 1 month after birth with postnatal ultrasonography in Busan Paik Hospital, between January 2000 and December 2008. We karyotyped 297 neonates after ultrasonographic examination revealed hydronephrosis and malformations. Results: Chromosomal abnormalities were detected in 31 (11%) cases of 297 cases and more common in female than male. The commonest chromosomal abnormality was trisomy 21, followed by Turner syndrome, deletion of autosome, unbalanced translocation. 127 cases in 109 infants had associated malformations such as urogenital and cardiovascular and gastrointestinal anomalies. The associated malformations were more common in moderate to severe hydronephrosis than mild and the number of additional abnormalities increased with the chromosomal defects. Conclusion: Particular attention should be paid for the cases in congenital hydronephrosis with any associated malformation such as urogenital and cardiac malformation, to investigate chromosomal abnormalities. This will enable clinicians to establish appropriate management and postnatal care.
