The aim of this study is to predict the plastic deformation behavior of automotive steel sheet during the hot rolling process. Material tracking technique was used to investigate material movement during hot rolling operation. Hot compression test is performed to obtain the effective stress-strain curve of initial slab, which is applied to FE-simulation. Tracked points of slab were calculated at each rolling stage such as sizing press and rough rolling process. FE-simulation results were compared with measured track points of rolled bar in the real hot rolling mill. FEA using material tracking technique is a suitable method for the prediction of the slab metal flow during the hot rolling process.

The pulsation of a reciprocating type hydrogen compressor is occurred from the mechanism and this pulsation makes much noise and vibration. To reduce this pulsation, snubber is usually installed on that. To maintain the efficiency in the reciprocating type hydrogen compressor, the pulsation and vibration should be reduced. so it is necessary to research about the characteristic of pulsation and vibration. Therefore in this paper, the vibration characteristic of the snubber is analyzed in the base of optimized modeling condition through the flowing analysis of existing snubber. The prototype of reciprocating type hydrogen compressor is analyzed with numerical analysis. And making sure the present condition of hydrogen compressor through measurement of vibration and noise, and then it is established that the vibration characteristic data base on numerical analysis which will be develope.

The vibration diagnosis and the analysis of the vessel is accomplished by a shipbuilding corporation, So, most vessels are not evaluated for their vibration effects and the vibration noise is a negative element for seamen. Therefor in this paper, the vibration transferred from engine room and auxiliary machinery was measured during the steady-state operation and the vibration map of vessel was made on the base of measurement result for diagnosis and the analysis of ship vibration.
