Harmon 교수는 현재 Texas대학 대학원에서 연구방법론과 정보과학을 강의하고 있으며, ’On the Evolution of Information Science(1971)' 'Human Memory and Knowledge : A System Approach (1973)' 'The Invisible Manpower Market for Information Scientists 91975)' 등의 논문을 발표하였다.

도서관학 교수법

도서관학에서 교과과정과 교수법을 분리해서 생각할 수 는 없다. 특히 교수법의 중요성은 누구나 공감하고 있으나 지금까지 도서관학은 자체에 알맞은 교수법이 개발되지 못한채, 전통적인 교수법을 답습해오던가 아니면 법률학, 경제학 등 다른 학문분야의 교수법을 그대로 도입해왔기 때문에, 도서관학교수법이 한계를 벗어나지 못하였던 것이다. 그리고 도서관학교수법에 관한 문헌도 좀처럼 보기드물며, 설상 있다고 하여도 대부분이 그 이론을 체계화시키지 못하고 도서관학교육운영상의 절차와 기술만을 다루고 도서관학에 적합한 교수법을 다루지 않은 것이 그 특징이라 할 수 있다. 이 책은 Josefa E. Sabor 교수가 저술한 ${method}^s$ of Teaching librarianship (Paris: Unesco, 1969)에 수록되어 있는 Curriculum을 번역한 것이다. 1976년 8월 Lausanne에서 개최된 IFLA, 총회에서 도서관학교분과위원회(Section of Library Schools)가 “도서관학교의 기준, 1976”(Standards for Library School, 1976, IFLA Journal vol.2, No.4, 1976, pp.209-223)의 “Curriculum" 조항(p.220)에서 이 책을 권장한 것만 보더라도, 이 책은 종전의 도서관학교수법을 탈피해서 실제로 도서관학에 적합한 교수법을 시사한 것이라고 볼 수 있다.

공포 소구에 의한 광고가 광고 태도에 미치는 영향 : 분노, 사회규범, 효능감의 조절 효과를 중심으로

Objectives This study investigated the role of personal and social factors including the dynamic relationships between fear, anger, social norms, and efficacies in determining the attitude toward a public anti-smoking campaign. Methods The survey involved 230 South Korean adults who are smokers. Results We found that an effective response to fear was positively associated with attitude toward the campaign whereas anger was correlated negatively. A further three-way interaction between fear, anger, and response efficacy determined the attitude, indicating that the effect of fear and anger on attitude was observed only in participants with a high response efficacy. We also found that self-efficacy attenuated the effect of fear on attitude while social norms moderated the effect of anger on attitude. Conclusions This study identifies self-efficacy, response efficacy, and social norms as determinants of attitude toward the campaign, and investigates the role of fear, which affects the attitude towards the anti-smoking campaign.

비만에 대한 인식이 비만 대처에 미치는 영향 연구

This study investigated how obesity recognition influences communicative actions and coping outcomes. 358 adults between the age of 20s∼40s were subjected for this study. As of the result, the relational involvement recognition in obesity influenced information seeking and forwarding related to obesity, which then influenced emotion-focused coping process of the subjects. In addition, information forwarding and emotion-focused coping process also influenced physical coping outcomes of the subjects. Information forwarding of the subjects mediated relational involvement recognition with physical coping outcomes while emotion-focused coping process mediated information seeking with physical coping outcomes as well as information forwarding with physical coping outcomes. In the analysis by age group, health involvement recognition in 20s∼30s did not influence physical coping outcomes while the subjects in 40s showed the influence. This study is meaningful as it identified the influence of communicative action to effectively cope with the disease by systematically reviewing the influence of communicative action from the obesity recognition to coping outcomes. 본 연구는 비만에 대한 인식이 비만관련 커뮤니케이션 행동과 대처결과에 미치는 영향력을 연구하였다. 연구대상은 20대∼40대 성인 358명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과 비만에 대한 관계적 관여도 인식은 비만관련 정보탐색 행동과 정보전달 행동에 영향을 미치며, 정보탐색과 정보전달 행동은 정서적 대처과정에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정보전달 행동과 정서적 대처과정은 물리적 대처결과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과 검증 결과 정보전달 행동은 관계적 관여도 인식과 물리적 대처결과를 매개하며, 정서적 대처과정은 정보탐색과 물리적 대처결과를 매개하고 정보전달과 물리적 대처결과를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 연령대별로 분석한 결과 20∼30대에서는 건강적 관여도 인식이 물리적 대처결과에 영향을 미치지 않았지만 40대에서는 영향관계가 나타났다. 본 연구는 비만에 대한 인식이 대처결과에 이르는 과정에서 커뮤니케이션 행동의 영향력을 체계적으로 살펴봄으로써 질병에 대한 공중의 효과적 대처를 가능하게 하는 커뮤니케이션의 영향력을 밝혔다는데 의의가 있다.

모바일 헬스케어 앱의 지속적 수용에 관한 연구: 인지된 용이성의 확장을 중심으로

건강관리를 위한 모바일 앱의 활용이 확산되고 있지만, 헬스케어 앱의 기기적 활용의 측면과 정보이해의 측면에서 구체적인 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 체계적 연구가 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 도구적 사용에 초점을 둔 기존의 기술수용모형에서 도구적 측면과 내용 이해의 측면에서 용이성 인식과 자기효능감을 구분하여 모바일 헬스케어 앱의 수용과정에 미치는 구체적 영향력을 연구하였다. 연구결과, 기기용이성과 이해용이성 모두 유용성 인식에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 도구적 효능감과 정보적 효능감은 각각 기기용 이성과 이해용이성을 매개하여 유용성 인식 및 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 건강정보지향의 경우 이해용이성을 부분매개하여 유용성 인식에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기기 및 콘텐츠 측면에서 용이성 인식과 자기효능감이 차별적으로 영향을 미치는 과정을 제시함으로서 기존의 기술수용모형의 확장 가능성을 보여준다. The current study aims to explore the underlying process of individuals’ continuous use of mobile healthcare apps in terms of the effect of perceived ease of understanding of content as well as perceived instrumental ease of use which has been mainly investigated in the technology acceptance model (TAM). To examine this question, we surveyed 300 adults, both male and female in South Korea. The results showed that perceived instrumental ease of use, the original variable of TAM, and perceived ease of understanding of content, the study variable of this research both influenced perceived usefulness. In addition, both instrumental efficacy and informational efficacy influenced perceived usefulness and intention to continuous use through perceived instrumental ease of use and perceived ease of understanding of content. The effect of health information orientation on perceived usefulness was partially mediated by perceived ease of understanding of content. This study suggests the possibility of expansion of TAM with more refined variables and the need for adopting the concept of instrumental easiness and understandable content in contemporary health research and production of mobile healthcare apps. Implications for developing mobile healthcare apps are discussed.

By the experiment of a model Ondol heating system gas flow characteristics in a briquette flue tube was investigated. As a heat source electric heater was used, which renders steady flow condition of air. working fluid. It was observed that the flow augumentation may be obtained by increasing the vertial elevation of the flue tube, namely increase in the tube length or increase in the tube inclination, and the gas temperature at the tube entrance Among several factors which augument the flow rate slope of the flue tube has the most striking effect and then the temperature of gas entering the tube. Increase in length of the tube also auguments the flow but the rate of augumentation is so small that it gives little assistance to improvement of the flow The flow in a briguette flue gas does not essentially satisfy the one dimensional steady flow assumption. It is also observed that the flow begins to accompany irregular velocity fluctuation as inclination of the tube increases.
