열차의 효율적 운영을 통한 동력비 절감방안에 관한 연구 : 서울메트로를 중심으로

The annual power cost for Seoul metro operations is about 65.5 billion won, of which rail motors account for 60% among total power consumptions. It is expected that the power consumption would increase because of global warming, future high electric equipments demands, etc. To reduce these consumptions, it is necessary to analyze the transportation demands of passengers, arrange the power-saving driving environments, respond flexible vehicles service, and improve how to drive vehicles. These method to reduce power consumption for rail motors can lead to improve the Seoul metro management. In this research, the improvement plan is derived by collecting and analyzing the data for total 33 power consumptions factors, screening top 10 factors by priority and impact, establishing each hypothesis to execute correlation and recursion analyses. As a result of 4 items research among top 10 affected factors, the power consumption for rail motors in 2006 is effectively reduced; the power usage is down with 13,870 kwh, from 531,539 kwh to 517,669 kwh, and the cost is down with 1,026 million won, from 39, 334 million won to 38,308 million won.

A subway with its several positive characteristics such as safety, speed, and timeliness has made it to take a pivotal role in urban transportation. However it can cause a severe damage in case of disruption in train services. Owing to their vulnerable work conditions, that is, routinized working alone in a closed space, based on the irregular work and commuting schedule, the drivers are always suffering from the burden of safe running, which could not only cause them severe physical as well as mental fatigue, but also feel difficulties in maintaining a steady circadian biorhythm. Even though continued studies on systematic factors have been conducted for the safe operation of subways, the researches for the optimization of roster scheduling of subway drivers are so rare. The main purpose of this study is to depict the critical factors described above, and to suggest some effective alternatives to solve the problems, focusing on the computerized system for the optimum labor scheduling.

현재 대부분의 역에서는 편리한 곳에서 승하차가 집중적으로 이루어지는 현상이 있다. 그로 인해 정차시간이 길어져 사회적 비용손실이 발생되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 승강장구조에 따라 승객이동과 집중이 다르게 나타나고 있다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 구조변경에 의해 승객분산과 표정속도 증가가 가능하다는 것을 설명한다. 본 논문으로 앞으로 건설될 도시철도 및 철도역사에 도움이 되고자 한다. Currently, in the most station of urban railway, the majority of passengers concentrated at more convenient spot for them to transfer causes train stopping-time delays and much social costs This study proves that passengers overcrowding and movements are depending on station`s. structures, and even a simple modification of platform structure would effect the dispersion of passengers and improve the train`s scheduled-speed. Therefore, a newly designed platform . (tentatively named Fan-shaped platform) can expedite passengers movements and also lessen overcrowding of passengers. We believe that this thesis will be helpful in urban railway industry and railway stations to be constructed.

Recently the roles of railways about the prevention of global warming caused by greenhouse gases and for low carbon green growth are larger than ever. And the railroad-related research institutions have been active in researching for energy conservation. Especially the urban railroad has been emerged as the best means of transportation compared to the general public transportation systems in punctuality, stability, ecology and etc. In operating the urban railroad system there are various ways for energy savings. In the larger category, One is the hardware aspect according to the structure of the vehicle and the development of control systems. The other is the software aspect which efficient train operation can be made through control of driving patterns and driving diagram. In this paper, there is sense to analyze the result in verifying expectation relation with variable and the use of electric power on this after selecting main variables that can influence to the energy of the train operation in the software aspect. First, after collecting the basic data related to operation(train speed, operating hours, power consumption, the position of stopping station, electrical power system etc.) and according to this, investigating the consumption of the energy of the operation, in the side of energy consumption deducing and analyzing problem, this will be found solutions.
