We are to here introduce an innovative 4a impetus pendulum test system that constitutes a self-contained process to create validated material cards and suggest new technology of dynamic material characterization process for time to market instead of using previous classical test methods. In the beginning specimens are cut out from sample plates or even real parts and loaded under realistic conditions. Finally validated, ready to use, custom-tailored material cards are determined using numerical methods. They can be extended with failure if failure occurs in the tests.
엑티브 헤드레스트 적용시트의 IIHS 후방추돌 해석에 관한 연구

This paper presents the IIHS rear crash analysis of the seat applied to active head restraint. Since 1995 IIHS has evaluated the static geometry of head restraints on seats to reduce neck injury risk in low speed rear impact. But Geometry evaluation is not sufficient for protection of whiplash injury. So IIHS received the dynamic test evaluations used in IIWPG and published the its first set of evaluations in fall 2004. We execute the IIHS rear impact analysis of seat using the LS-DYNA and BidRID II and suggest the improvement subject for reducing whiplash injury.
