In this paper, doubly-fed induction-type wind power generation system simulation model for grid connection is developed. The simulation model is based on PSCAD/EMTDC and consists of rotor-blade, blade controller, generator power converter and generator controller Blade controller controls the blade pitch angle for starting, peak power limiting and emergency condition. Generator controller controls the generator output power to maximize the system efficiency. Simulation results are shown for the variable wind speed conditions. The simulation model can be utilized for study of actual interaction between wind turbine and grid for reliable operation and protection of power system.

Experimental study was conducted to elucidate flame extinction phenomena in counterflow flame. Using a curtain helium flow significantly reduced buoyancy such that the flame can be positioned at the center between the upper and lower nozzles even at the velocity ratio of 1.0. The curves of critical diluent mole fraction versus global strain rate have C-shapes. The flame oscillation was observed prior to low strain rate flame extinction at both flame conditions with and without minimizing buoyancy force. The results show that, at low strain rate flame, the self-excitation frequency with the order of 1.0 Hz in the case of utilizing pure helium gradually decreases in increase of N₂ mole fraction in the curtain flow, meaning that buoyancy suppresses the self-excitation of the outer edge flame.

HVDC 시스템에서 AC 필터는 AC 계통으로 혼입되는 고조파를 억제하며 컨버터 운전에 필요한 무효전력을 공급하는 역할을 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 +/-80㎸ HVDC용 11/13차 Double-Tuned Filter와 24차 High-Pass Filter를 설계하여 시뮬레이션을 모의하였고, AC 필터 스위칭 시퀀스에 따른 무효전력 운영방안을 기술하였다.

Experiments were conducted to clarify the role of the outermost edge flame in low-strain-rate flame extinction in buoyancy-suppressed non-premixed methane flames diluted with He and N2.The use of He curtain flow produced a microgravity level of 10-2?10-3g in N2? and He-diluted non-premixed counterflow flame experiments. The critical He and N2 mole fraction at extinction with a global strain rate was examined at various burner diameters (10, 20 , and 25mm). The results showed that the extinction curves differed appreciably with burner diameter. Before the turning point along the extinction curve, low-strain-rate flames were extinguished via shrinkage of the outermost edge flame with and without self-excitation. High-strain-rate flames were extinguished via a flame hole while the outermost edge flame was stationary.

최근 일본 내의 태양광 관련 보급 사업 확장으로 인하여 태양광 발전 시스템 시장이 확대되고 있다. 이에 자사에서는 그동안 자국 내 주택 100만호 사업의 참여 등으로 축적된 기술과 Know-how등을 이용하여 일본 내의 태양광 발전 관련 사업의 수요를 충족하고 가격적으로도 장점을 갖는 인버터를 개발하여 이에 대한 사례를 소개하고자 한다.
