Headache, facial pain and fullness are frequent symptoms noted in patients with acute and chronic sinusitis. However, if patients presenting with a sinus headache were to be classified according to the 2nd Edition of The International Headache Classification by The International Headache Society, most would not be diagnosed as having a headache that is secondary to rhinosinusitis. In this review article, the limitations of the classification system of The International Headache Society and the pathophysiology of a sinus headache are reviewed. The future role of the rhinologist is also suggested.
외국인근로자에 대한 강제퇴거처분과 절차적 구제수단의 모색

With the increase of alien labors and their activities within Korea, the matters of alien protection and expursion has become a social problem. But the contents of protecting rights and interests of alien labors were not included in removal procedures, as other parts of the Korean Immigration Laws. This paper has been studying various elements of executing removal procedures with more regard to a lot of difficulties of alien labors being removed. The Non-staying principle of Execution was adapted by the Administrative Litigation Act and the Administrative Appeals Act, bet it is necessary to restrict that principle. In main issue of this paper, I emphasized that noncitizen suspect has the right to appeal by Administrative Appeals Act, apart from the Korean Immigration Laws, and the decision whether the suspect is removed or not is made by judicial procedures apart from the execution body. It means 'division of examination body and execution body' and 'accomplishment of removal hearing' in reference to the Immigration and National Act of US. And in this paper I proposed 'Remedial Measures' which is ruled by judicial part. To put it concretely, suspending of execution or effect of removal measure is indispensable and efficacious to the noncitizen labors who were arrested by the immigration officers.

A single coronary artery (SCA) is a rare congenital anomaly of the coronary circulation, which is often associated with myocardial ischemia and other congenital cardiac anomalies. A 77-year-old woman visited our hospital complaining of typical chest pain. Coronary angiography revealed an isolated SCA. The right coronary artery did not originate from the aorta, but instead emerged from the distal left circumflex artery, with significant stenosis at the proximal portion of the left anterior descending artery. A stent was successfully implanted at the culprit lesion. There was no perfusion defect detected by a cardiac SPECT study.
A Case of Cavernous Lymphangioma of the Nasopharynx

The lymphangioma of the nasopharynx is one of the very rare benign tumors listed in the English literatures in the world. Patient was 20 year-old male who had suffered from nasal stuffiness for nine years. Bluish mass was observed in the nasopharynx with nasal endoscope. Carotid angiography revealed hypovascular mass without feeding vessels. We removed the tumor through palate without any complications. Pathologic examination revealed that cavernous lymphangioma. We reported a case of nasopharyngeal cavernous lymphangioma with review of literature.
Development of a Device Equipped with a Thermocouple for Measuring Nasal Airflow

Background and Objectives:To measure nasal cavity function as an airway, rhinomanometry and acoustic rhinometry arecurrently being used in clinical settings. However, these methods are not helpful for continuously measuring the aerodynamicstatus of both nasal cavities simultaneously. Therefore, a new instrument to evaluate the nasal flow is required. Materials andMethods:To measure the airflow of bilateral nasal cavity simultaneously, two thermocouples are held in the headset, with thetips of thermocouples positioned below nostrils. The thermocouples are connected to the analog-digital converter and the digitizeddata is transferred to a notebook computer, in which a graphical programming language software is installed. Eighteen adults wererecruited for this study who had no structural abnormality in their nasal cavities. For every subject, measurements from acousticrhinometry, the thermocouple device, and rhinomanometry were taken in succession. The data from the thermocouple devicewas compared with those taken from the acoustic rhinometry and rhinomanometry. Results:A negative correlation was notedbetween the minimum cross-sectional area by acoustic rhinometry and the inspiratory slope by thermocouple. No correlationwas noted between the results for rhinomanometry and the thermocouple device. Conclusion:The thermocouple device has someadvantages over other devices for its non-invasive, continuous, and real-time measurements and its ability to measure bilateralnasal cavity simultaneously.
