This study proposes an efficient narrowband Filtered-x Least Mean Square (FxLMS) algorithm for the three-axis active mount. The three-axis active mount is an adaptive equipment that controls vibrations in three directions (x, y, and z axes). The proposed algorithm generates control signals using two-tap filters with in-phase and quadrature-phase signals as input. Secondary paths are also modeled using second-order FIR filters to reduce computational complexity. The control filters are configured in parallel to enable multi-frequency control, and a three-channel narrowband FxLMS is constructed to control vibrations in three directions simultaneously. Through computer simulations and real-time experiments conducted on an actual 3-axis active mount, it has been confirmed that the proposed algorithm could successfully attenuate several pre-determined frequencies in all three axes.
