Purpose The number of obesity patients, as well as interest towards them is increasing rapidly due to improvements in living standards and changes to dietary habits in life. In exanumng the relationship between obesity and related diseases, focus is being drawn to the distribution of body fat, rather than the measurement of total body fat. For such measurements, CT is emerging as a new and alternative method to previous measuring methods. This paper purposes to set a measurement standard to ensure objective and consistent results. Materials & Methods Among 100 patients whose abdominal obesity was measured using CT in our hospital from january 2004 to december 2005, 20 patients were selected to set the range for fat content. To do this, 10*10 pixel CT number of the patients were examined. Also, all 100 patients were observed to see if the distribution of subcutaneous and visceral fat shows maximum value at the umbilical level. Results In an axial image of 20 patients whose abdominal obesity was measured, all CT Numbers ranged between -140 to -80 when 10*10 pixel was randomly placed on any location within subcutaneous and visceral fat area, which are anatomically fatty areas. During follow-up, L2~3, L3~4, L4~5 and S-I joints were examined based on the spine to scan the identical area. In this examination, umbilical level was visualized in the center of the four areas scanned. Observing each cross-section, the distribution of visceral fat, which is deeply related to abnormal metabolism, had the maximum value at the umbilical level for only 45 patients out of 100. Among these 45 patients, the maximum value of subcutaneous and visceral fat matched in 23 patients, while they differed in the remaining 22 patients. Conclusion Although there are many methods to measure body fat, only CT can objectively numerate fat in each area of the body. Thus, the range of CT No. must be preset to ensure accurate measurement. Also, measurement should be made for subcutaneous and visceral fat not only at the umbilical level, but also at levels above and below the umbilical level to assess abdominal obesity.

Recently, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) stated that the ten millionth foreign tourist during the year of 2012 entered to Korea as early as November. According to KTO data, foreign tourists visiting Korea has increased consistently. This study was designed to analyze visitor loyalty to a specific hotel brand. The main focus of this study was on the effects of the hotel customer relationship equity & value equity on customer loyalty, and on ways to improve the conceptualization of brand knowledge through brand awareness and brand image. This study used a sample of 306 foreign customers who had guest experiences in five hotels across Seoul. The data was used to test the proposed model with multiple regression analysis & hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, hotel customer relationship equity & value equity had a significant impact on hotel customer loyalty, and it was confirmed that value equity was more influential than relationship equity to hotel consumer loyalty. In addition, this study verified statistical significance for the moderating role of brand knowledge. It was also revealed that the perceived quality & price of a customer had a significant moderating effect on consumer loyalty. The results of this analyses implied that hotel managers and executives should apply these principles in marketing activities and design a service delivery process to enhance consumer loyalty, thereby obtaining a competitive edge.

이 연구는 국가환경교육센터, 광역환경교육센터, 기초환경교육센터의 고유의 기능과 위계에 따른 역할을 탐색하고 정립하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 연구관련 문헌 분석, 국내외 관련 사례 조사, 유관종사자 간담회, 전문가 설문 조사 및 자문을 실시하였고, 이를 바탕으로 환경교육센터 간 위계와 기능 및 역할, 국가-광역-기초환경교육센터 운영 방안, 환경교육센터 활성화를 위한 제반 추진 과제를 제안하였다. 문헌과 사례 조사를 통해 환경교육센터 위계와 관련하여 기본모형과 확장 모형을 도출하였으며, 전문가들은 국가 및 광역환경교육센터는 단일 지정, 광역환경교육센터에 복수의 기초교육센터를 설립하는 확장 모형을 선호하였다. 연구 결과, 국가환경교육센터는 연구 개발 및 조사, 네트워크구축 기능에 집중하고, 광역환경교육센터는 교육․양성, 연구 개발 및 조사, 네트워크 구축 기능을 고르게 수행해야 하는 것으로 나타났으며, 기초환경교육센터는 교육ㆍ양성 기능이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. This study was conducted to propose a cooperation system of environmental education(EE) centers that facilitate information exchange and communication based on the functions and roles of EE centers at national, regional and local levels. To enact the research, relevant research analysis, case studies on domestic and international EE centers and personnel interviews were carried out. Through the process, this study suggests the functions and roles of EE centers based upon the implementation tasks to activate EE at national, regional and local levels. Two models(single model and expansion model) of the EE center hierarchy were designed through literature analysis and case studies. The EE experts favored the expansion model (a national EE center – a regional EE center–multiple local EE centers). As a result of looking into the roles and functions of EE centers, the national EE center was proposed to focus on research development and network construction. The regional EE center was suggested to show balance among education/training, research development, and network construction, while the local EE centers was to play the most roles in education and training functions.

Many of the bridge systems, including the girders and cross-beams,and concrete decks behave as the special othotropic plates. A method of calculating the natural frequency corresponding to the first mode fo vibration of beam and tower structures with irregular cross-sections was developed and reported by D.H.Kim in 1974. Since 1989, The author has extended this method to Vibration analysis of two dimensional problems includign composite laminates, and has reported at several conferenes. Frequently, the bridge floor panels are supported by girders and cross beams. Such panels as well as some of the building floor panels can be assumed as simple supported special orthotropic plates. In this paper, the result of application of simple method fo vibration analysis developed by D.H.Kim, to the simply supported sandwich panels woth point Mass/Masses is presented.

The problem of deteriorated highway concrete slab is very serious all over the world. Before making any decision on repair work, reliable non-destructive evaluation is necessary. One of the dependable methods is to evaluate the in-situ stiffness of the slab by means of obtaining the natural frequency. By comparing the in-situ stiffness with the one obtained at the design stage, the degree of damage can be estimated rather accurately. In this paper, the numerical modeling of vibration analysis to three span continuous reinforced concrete bridge with elastic intermediate support is presented.
