        단일 도파관 급전된 캐비티 장착 서브어레이를 이용한 고효율 슬롯 배열 안테나

        본 논문에서는 무궁화 3호 위성의 방송수신용 안테나를 설계 및 제작하였는데, 기존의 방송수신용 안테나보다 넓은 수신영역을 가지는 고이득 안테나를 제작하는데 중점을 두었다. 본 안테나는 급전 라인의 손실을 줄이기 위하여 급전 라인을 도파관 구조로 설계하였다. 또한 방사효율을 높이고 급전 구조를 간단히 하기 위하여 cavity backed slot array 형태의 방사구조를 제안하였다. 슬롯 배열 안테나의 최대 이득은 11.7 GHz$\~$12.75 GHz 대역에서 33 dEi 이상을 얻을 수 있었다. 임피던스 대역폭 또한 VSWR 2:1에서 $13\%$로 설계사양을 만족시켰다. The antenna array for receiving satellite broadcasting of Koreasat III is proposed. A cavity-backed slot antenna array is proposed to reduce feed line loss, increase the radiation efficiency, and make the feed network simple. A sub-array consists of $2{\times}4$ slot elements backed by a single cavity. By proper choice of dimensions it is shown that the proposed antenna has characteristics of the high radiation efficiency and the broad frequency bandwidth. Antenna characteristics for the array antenna with 256 elements are measured in Ku-band. A single cavity backed-sub-array has the gain of 18 dEi. The gam of the total antenna array(256 elements) is Over 33 dEi.

        무지 첨부 절단 환자 재건에서 Moberg Flap과 2족지 수질부 유리피판술의 비교

        Purpose: Transverse type or volar oblique type of defect of thumb tip can be covered by Moberg flap or second toe pulp free flap. We compared these two methods in functional result, patients’ satisfaction, and sensation, etc. to find a better way to cover the defect of the thumb tip. Methods: From 2003 to 2006, we chose the patients randomly with preoperative pictures. The patients had the defect of the thumb tip which is either transverse or volar oblique type. The 6 patients were treated with Moberg flap and other 6 patients were treated with second toe pulp free flap. We have analyzed the results by 2 point discrimination, side pinching power test, pulp to pulp pinching power test, pain scales (visual analogue scale), satisfaction scales of the patients (functional and aesthetic), the degree of the range of motion, etc. Results: All flaps survived without any complications. In the cases of Moberg flaps, the value of static 2 point discrimination test was 5.6mm, and the value of moving 2 point discrimination test was 4.8mm. In the cases of second toe pulp free flaps, the values were 9.6mm and 9.3mm. In the cases of Moberg flaps, the value of the Side pinch power test was 6.6kg, 4.4kg. In the case of second toe pulp free flaps, the values were 4.8kg and 2.5kg. The value of aesthetic satisfaction scale of the patients in Moberg flaps was 5.6, the value of functional satisfaction scale of the patients was 3.6. In cases of second toe pulp free flaps, the values were 5.6 and 3.6. The active range of motion of Interphalangeal joint in the cases of Moberg flaps was 46.6 degree, and the active range of motion of metacarpophalangeal joint was 55 degree, in the cases of second toe pulp free flaps, the values were 36.6 degree and 59 degree. Conclusion: As a result, when the defect of the thumb tip is transverse or volar oblique type, we suggest that the operators choose Moberg flap to cover the defect of the thumb tip.

        뇌졸중 후 우울증 척도 비교

        Objective: To compare the characteristics between geriatric depression scale (GDS), Hamilton depression rating scale (HDRS) and post-stroke depression scale (PSDS) in the aspect of diagnosis and severity assessment for post-stroke depression. Method: 45 post-stroke patients were included for this study. Subjects were classified through DSM-IV criteria into three different groups; depression-free, minor depression and major depression. GDS, HDRS, PSDS were also assessed in all subjects simultaneously. Three depression assessment scales were compared between groups based on DSM-IV criteria, and the sensitivity and specificity using cut-off value were analyzed.Results: All scales showed the significant differences between depression group and depression-free group. GDS showed higher sensitivity and specificity than HDRS and PSDS and GDS showed the significant difference between minor depression and no depression group, but other scales did not. HDRS and PSDS in major depression group showed the significant differences compared with minor depression group (p<0.05), but GDS did not. Conclusion: GDS may be more useful to identify the presence of depression compared to GDRS and PSDS. However, to measure the severity of depression, HDRS and PSDS may be more useful than GDS.         금속 몸체를 갖는 휴대단말기를 위한 MediaFLO/GPS/Bluethooth용 섀시 모드 안테나의 설계

        본 논문에서는 아래위로 7.6 ㎜의 간격을 갖고 있는 두 개의 금속판을 단락 핀으로 연결하고, 그 사이에 급전점을 위치시킴으로써 MediaFLO(Media Forward Link Only)/GPS(Global Positioning System)/Bluetooth 대역의 안테나 구현하였다. 안테나는 각각 사용 주파수 밴드별로 0.5 λ 슬롯 안테나와 단락된 패치 안테나의 배열로 해석이 가능하다. 제안된 안테나는 최근에 늘어나고 있는 금속 몸체를 갖는 이동 통신 단말기에서 별도의 안테나없이, 단말기의 몸체를 안테나로 재활용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다. In this paper, a MediaFLO/GPS/Bluetooth antenna is designed for mobile handset with metallic chassis. It is consisted of two metal plates with 7.6 ㎜ gap, a connection plate and source between two plates. It can be analyzed as U-slot antenna of 0.5 λ, array of shorted patches each application bands. Simulated and measured performance of the proposed antenna show that it has enough possibility to reuse metallic chassis itself as radiator without any additional space for antenna.

        전자기적 결합된 슬롯 방사체를 이용한 휴대단말기용 GPS 안테나 설계

        본 논문에서는 안테나를 위한 추가적인 공간 없이 필름 구조의 0.5 λ 슬롯 방사체를 휴대단말기 배터리 덮개에 부착시켜 GPS 안테나를 설계하였다. 이 슬롯 방사체는 GSM850 /PCS 대역 안테나로부터 결합된 전자기장에 의해 급전되기 때문에 별도의 급전 구조 없이 설계가 가능하였다. 제안된 GPS 안테나의 대역폭은 정재파비 3:1 기준으로 20 ㎒ 이상으로 GPS 대역에 만족할 수 있고, -3.8 ㏈i의 만족할만한 평균 이득을 얻었다. In this paper, a GPS antenna is designed by using metal film which can be attached on the case of battery without additional space for antenna in GPS band operation. The proposed metal film has a half-wavelength slot radiator. The slot radiator is fed by th electromagnetic field coupled from the GSM850/PCS band antenna. The proposed GPS antenna obtains about 20 ㎒ bandwidth(VSWR<3) which can cover entire GPS band. The antenna has an average gain of -3.8 ㏈i.

        뒤시엔느 근디스트로피 환자의 영양 상태 평가

        Objectives: To investigate nutritional status and various related factors of Korean Duchenne muscular dystrophy(DMD) patients by assessing body mass index(BMI)Methods: Demographical data including height, weight, BMI and nutritional related factors reviewed retrospectively on the medical records of 106 DMD patients. And we also reviewed their functional aspect such as walking ability. We divide the patients into two groups: patients under and more than 19 years old. We divide again each group into four groups along with BMI score: low weight, normal, overweight, and obesity. And then each groups are compared with nutritional related factors and walking ability. Results: The older subjects showed the lower BMI, with statistically significant difference in age among each groups. As a biochemical aspect, In low weight group total lymphocyte count, white blood cell count decreased with statistically significance in patients under 19 years old. As a functional aspect, the subjects in low weight group show the more dependency on ambulation. Conclusions: The accurate evaluation for nutritional status and the continuous nutritional support is required for the rehabilitation of DMD patients.

        주관절 윤활막염에 동반된 주관 증후군 1예

        Synovitis is a rare cause of ulnar neuropathy at the elbow. In our case, a 34-year old house-wife had a complaint of numbness and paresthesia on her left 4th and 5th finger and medial forearm for 2 months. In clinical examination, painful tenderness was palpated on her left medial elbow. Electrodiagnostic study showed ulnar neuropathy at or around elbow level and MRI study demonstrated a cubital tunnel syndrome associated with synovitis at the elbow joint despite nonspecific findings in ultrasonography. After conservative treatments including resting, anti-inflammatory agent and physical therapy, patient's symptoms and neurologic signs improved.

        초기 6개월간의 뇌병변 환자의 영양상태

        Objective: Patients with brain disorder manifest hypermetabolism, increased energy expenditure, and increased protein loss. Nutritional support can prevent loss of immunocompetence, and can decrease morbidity and mortality associated with brain disorder. Thus, we aimed to determine the nutritional status by measuring body mass index (BMI) in patients with brain disorder during the first 6 months and identify factors related to malnutrition in this study. Method: We enrolled 244 patients from January 2008 to December 2009. The patients were classified into two groups: BMI under 18.5 were categorized as malnourished, while BMI over 18.5 as not malnourished. Extracted data includes demographic characteristics, type of brain disorder, functional independence measure (FIM) and Korea mini-mental status exam (K-MMSE) scores, history of diabetes mellitus (DM), and laboratory data. Feeding method was classified into oral and enteral tube feeding. Results: The prevalence of malnourished patients was 13.1% (32 out of 244 patients). There was significant difference of total lymphocyte count (TLC) between the two groups. And there was no significant difference of correlation in other parameters. Analysis of feeding method showed that 11.4% of oral feeding patients were malnourished, compared to 17.4% of tube feeding patients who were categorized as malnourished. The tube feeding group tends to be more malnourished. Conclusion: The results of this study can be a guide for active rehabilitation of patients with brain disorder, and further studies regarding functional outcome and complications related to early nutritional status is needed.

        만성 뇌졸중 후 편마비 환자에서 2주간 경두개 전기 자극 후 상지 운동기능 향상

        Objective: To investigate whether transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) could improve the motor function of hemiparetic upper limb in chronic stroke patients through randomized double-blinded, sham-controlled study. Method: Twenty chronic post-stroke hemiparetic patients participated in this study. They were randomly assigned into either tDCS or sham group. Anodal tDCS was delivered on lesional primary motor cortex for 20 minutes in tDCS group and 30 seconds in sham group. Just after stimulation, both groups performed the shaping exercise for 30 minutes. Total 10 stimulation sessions (5 session/week for 2 weeks) were administered. Fugl-Meyer motor assessment, box and block test, grasp strength and FIM were assessed before stimulation, after 1 week of stimulation, after 2 weeks of stimulation, and 2 weeks after stimulation. Results: The upper extremity score of Fugl-Meyer motor assessment and box and block test improved significantly in tDCS group compared to sham group (p<0.05). Their improvement lasted significantly for 2 week after stimulation. However, FIM, lower extremity score of Fugl-Meyer motor assessment and grasp power did not improved significantly in tDCS group compared to sham group. Conclusion: tDCS can improve the motor function of hemiparetic upper limb in chronic post-stroke patients, and the effects lasted after stimulation. tDCS may be used as an additional tool for stroke rehabilitation.
