        Removal total nitrogen and total phosphorus in the wastewater is very difficult these days. This study was conducted to investigate the contaminants removal efficiency and the optimal operating parameters by the internal recycle rate(IRR) in the combining A2/O process with fixed film. The average removal efficiency of BOD and COD was 92.5%∼94.6%, 73.9%∼87.0% in RUN 1 and 91.9%~94.7%, 77.7%∼89.0% in RUN 2, respectively. Organic removal efficiency, at two different hydraulic retention time of 10 and 14hr, was similar. At 50% of the internal recycle rate, organic removal officiency was somewhat higher than the other. Total nitrogen(T-N) and total phosphorus(T-P) were removed, highly, at 50% of internal recycle ratec. It could be suggested by this study that the optimum internal recycle rate is 50% and hydraulic retention time is 14hr.

      • Solids Contact Process를 이용한 돈사폐수처리에 관한 연구

        Agricultural-related environmental problems have received a considerable attention in this country possibly because the contribution has significant impacts on the quality of water resources. the piggery wastewater is characterized as high in Suspended Solids(SS) and BOD? concentrations. Due to the high SS and BOD? contents, an efficient pretreatment Would be essential for the successful secondary treatment for piggery wastewater. In order to minimize the clogging problem Rice Straw was applied for the pre-treatment as filtration. Trickling filter would be an attractive option for the small to medium scale piggery wastewater treatment because of its low operation and maintenance costs. The trickling filter effluent recycle improved the effluent qualities probably due to the dilution effects. The Kinetic constant that necessary for the trickling filter design were also evaluated. In addition, it was noticed that BOD? test values were influenced by the nitrification effects as a function of wastewater concentrations. The finding leads to a careful examination of nitrification effect on wastewater treatment plant design and operation. The solids contact process was proved as an effective process for the effluent treatment.

      • 친환경 바이오시스템을 이용한 고밀도순환여과

        The wastes and uneaten feeds from farmed fish contained high concentrations of nutrients, such kinds of materials were released to the environment without manage and they increase the pollution of environment. Management methods are required to solve these problems. In present, a lot of methods existed in managing the wastes from recirculating aquacultyure system, the biological filter chamber included submerged biofilter, rotational biological contactor (RBC) and fluidized bed biofilter, etc. In this research, the typical and advanced DynaSand Filters were experimented. The advanced DynaSand Filter was recently modified with fluid mechanics and physical chemistry theories applied to water treatment plants. This advanced filter focuses on improvement of backwashing, oxygen transport, turbidity removal, continuous head loss by detecting wastewater characteristics and automatic the DynaSand Filter operation. The DynaSand Filter operates by removing COD, ammonia, and suspended solids. Those are the major pollutants usually found in aquaculture wastewater. The total volume of the DynaSand Filter was 70 liters, while the working volume in a cycle was 35 liters. In this research, the advanced DynaSand Filter investigated for treating aquaculture showed a removal efficiency in SS, ammonia, T-P, SRP of 71, 84, 85 and 88% on average respectively.

      • 살수여상과 연계한 활성 슬러지 복합공장의 돈사폐수 처리를 위한 연구

        A research was conducted in order to evalute the treatment method particularly appropriate to these conditions for the small type medium-size hog farms in Korea. The part of research was evaluted the removal efficiencies of organic matters in activated sludge with single stage trckling filter as secondary treament. The following conclusion could be drawn on the basis of experiment. The combined tricking filter/activated sludge(TF/AS) process was operated at the TF hydraulic loading of 0.64 to 1.27 kgBOD/㎥/d and AS organic loading of 0.82 to 1.95 kgBOD/㎥/d. the overall BOD removal efficiencies in the TF/AS process were in the range of 79 to 91%.

        Ministry of Environmental manages 371 sites water quality in Han River and 1445 sites in Korea. But they have many difficulties to manage these rivers through traditional network information. Because they needed more flowrates. So I studied water quality and flowrates in the River Youngduk not involved network. It shows that pH, Suspended Solids, and Dissolved Oxygen were below grade I, but Biochemical Oxygen Demand was over grade I.

      • 양어장 배출수 수질정화를 위한 실지렁이의 이용가능성

        In this study , blood worm was investigated under various experimental conditions to improve the efficiency of biological treatment used for the effluent from aquaculture. To present about availability of quality of water specie the mode of life engineering through relation with mode of life of fresh water species blood worm, habitat. Accordinglym, experimented organic matter exclusion effect change. Blood worm inhabits in water temperature range wide extent, and does activity that is unrelated in light. Form condition is good from pH 5-8 and optimum pH 6-7.5. Dissolved oxygen could inhabit in 1.0 ㎎/L, and has introspection which is strong about ephemeral anaerobic state. As drift of a current is slow, activeness was good. Also, blood worm is considered that had inner filtration institution when blow by their activity and alimentary canal structure. Organic matter form particle organic matter that have food intake mainly appear. The organic matter exclusion amount is COD 2.8 ㎎/L in artificial sewage's occasion, and BOD 2.6 ㎎/L. In the case of aquaculture wastewater, appeared each by 11.55 ㎎/L, and appeared as is small by 5% of the whole organic matter exclusion amount and 30% low each. However, did microorganism exhaust passage indirect orgainc matter exclusion from microbial nutrient supply and interior of the body.

        We have known that typical aerobic attached-growth treatment processes are trickling Filter Process and RBC process. But we don't use no more trickling filter process at present in Korea. Because 1. no plant facilities and experience 2. temperature 3. difficult process at high-concentration (organic matter and suspended solids). So I found out that no clogging status in this study. Increaser and increaser Organic Loading and Hydraulic Loading, treatable rates are decrease.

        항공, 바이오, 원자력 부품의 프레팅 마모 현상 비교 연구

        This paper investigates fretting wear damage in aerospace, biomedical, and nuclear components. Experimental parameters are identified that affect fretting wear damage. The parameters observed in industries are directly compared. The magnitudes of frequency, relative displacement, and normal force are found to differ depending on the contacting components where fretting wear occurs. In addition, recent solutions to minimize fretting wear damage are reviewed. The solutions include depositing of a low-friction coating, surface treatment, selection of substrate material, and optimal design of contact geometries. This comparative study suggests useful methods and solutions for analyzing fretting wear damage and for designing tribo-components. 본 논문에서는 항공, 바이오 및 원자력 부품들에서 발생하는 프레팅 마모 현상이 비교 연구되었다. 프레팅 마모 손상에 영향을 미치는 실험적 인자들을 확인하였으며 각 부품에서 관찰된 실험 인자들의크기들을 직접 비교하였다. 초당 진동수, 상대적 변위, 그리고 수직하중의 크기는 프레팅 마모가 발생하는 부품에 따라 다양했다. 프레팅 마모 손상을 최소화시키는 최근 해결책들이 조사되었으며 저마찰 코팅 적층, 표면 처리, 기저 재료 및 접촉 형상 최적 설계 등이 해결책으로 소개되었다. 본 연구는 프레팅마모 손상을 분석하고 마찰 부품을 설계하는데 유용한 방법과 해결책을 제공한다.
