This paper proposes a new type of high-frequency directional valve controlled by the piezostack actuator associated with displacement amplifier. As a first step, a dynamic model of directional valve which can operate at 200 Hz with a flow rate of 12 litter/min is derived by considering pressure drop and flow force. As a second step, an appropriate piezostack is selected by considering actuation force as well as field-dependent displacement. Subsequently, in order to control spool displacement and flow rate a proportional-derivative(PD) controller is designed based on the 3rd-order valve system. Control performances such as sinusoidal trajectory tracking of the spool displacement in time domain are evaluated. In addition, the field-dependent flow rate is also presented to verify the required performance of the valve system.

본 논문에서는 셀룰라 오토마타(Cellular Automata, CA)를 이용한 MSB곱셈기를 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 구조는 PBCA(Periodic Boundary CA)의 특성을 AOP의 특성과 조화시킴으로써 정규성을 높이고 시간지연을 줄일 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이 곱셈기는 지수연산을 위한 하드웨어 설계에 효율적으로 이용될 수 있을 것이다.
MFC 작동기를 이용한 보강 Hull 구조물의 능동 진동 제어

This work presents an active vibration control of a stiffened hull structure using a flexible macro fiber composite(MFC) actuator. As first step, the governing equation of the hull structure is derived in a matrix form and its dynamic characteristics such as natural frequency are obtained via a finite element analysis(FEA). The natural frequencies obtained from the FEA are compared with those determined from experimental measurement. After formulating the control model in a state space representation, an optimal controller is designed in order to attenuate the vibration of the stiffened hull structure. The controller is then empirically realized through dSPACE and control responses are evaluated in time domain.

This paper proposes a novel type of pressure control mechanism which can apply to vehicle ABS (anti-lock braking system) utilizing the piezoactuator based valve system associated with the pressure modulator. As a first step, a flapper-nozzle of a pneumatic valve system is devised by integrating the piezoacuator to the flexible beam structure. The dynamic modeling of the valve system is then undertaken and subsequently the governing equation of pressure control is derived considering the pressure modulator. A sliding mode controller is designed in order to achieve accurate pressure tracking control in the presence of actuator uncertainty as well as input pressure variation. It is shown through computer simulation that an accurate pressure tracking for sinusoidal motion whose magnitude is 40 bar is achieved by utilizing the proposed pressure control mechanism.
기반 기술 : 오픈 소스 하드웨어를 이용한 임베디드 기반의 분산형 RFID 게이트웨이의 설계

본 논문에서는 최근 이슈가 되고 있는 대표적인 오픈소스 하드웨어인 아두이노와 라즈베리파이를 이용하여 RFID (RadioFrequency IDentification) 게이트웨이를 구성한다. RFID 기술은 라디오 주파수 신호를 이용하여 자동으로 사물을 식별하는 기술로써 다양한 환경에 핵심 기술로 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 리더의 통신 방법과 대량으로 발생하는 RFID 태그 정보를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 분산형 RFID 게이트웨이를 제안하고, RFID 리더의 확장성과 미들웨어 통신 효율성을 높이고자 한다. 기존 RFID 미들웨어는 리더와 연동을 위한 웹 서비스 또는 표준 통신 규격을 준수해야하는 문제점이 존재한다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 RFID 리더 제작 시 시리얼 통신 이외에 다양한 방식의 디지털 신호처리 방식의 통신 규격을 만족하도록 구성하여 미들웨어의 통신효율을 증대시킨다. In this paper, we configure a Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) gateway using an arduino and raspberry pi which are recent issues with a representative open source hardware. RFID technology is emerging as a key technology in a variety of environments as a technique to automatically identify objects using a radio frequency signal. In this paper, we propose a distributed RFID gateway for providing various communication methods and processing a large amount of RFID tag information efficiently, and to increase the scalability and middleware communication efficiency of the RFID reader. Existing RFID middleware systems have the problems that they should adhere the web service for interworking with a reader and the communication standard. Therefore, in this paper, we comprise our RFID gate to satisfy not only the serial communication configuration but also various digital signal processing standard so that it increases the communication efficiency of the middleware system.
