In papermaking industry, inorganic fillers such as CaCO3, produce some positive functions in high opacity and brightness, good surface smoothness, printability and dimensional stability of paper. They also provide the relative savings of production cost. However, fillers are also the sources of the negative effects such as the loss of strength of paper and the retention problem due to the poor retention mechanism. They also tend to be distributed unevenly in the Z-direction of paper. Therefore, much research efforts were focused on the modification and pre-flocculation of fillers to solve the retention problem and the strength reduction by using GCC (grounded calcium carbonate) and PCC (precipitated calcium carbonate). In this paper, PCC was designed to form the structured PCC by using PF1 and PF2 as pre-flocculation agents. Different retention systems were applied to examine the optimum conditions for the high retention mechanism of the fillers with the structured PCC and polyelectrolytes such as C-PAM (cationic polyacrylamide), C-starch and glyoxal as retention agents. To evaluate the optimum retention system, the retention ratio of PCC was measured by comparing the turbidity of RDA (retention and drainage analyzer) filtrate, air permeability (FAP) of the wet-web indicates dewatering performance. Lastly, the formation index of handsheet was evaluated. The lower values of the three factors (i.e., the turbidity of RDA filtrate, FAP of the wet handsheet and the formation index of handsheet) indicated that the structured PCC has provided the more favorable retention of the fillers.

이 글에서는 고려후기의 '記' 작품을 대상으로 한문학 작품의 양식적 역사적 탄력성을 살펴보았다. 고려후기 문학은 불교에서 성리학으로 전환하는 변화의 모습을 보여주며, 불교와 유교를 아우르는 사상적 융통성은 풍부한 문학사의 실상을 보여준다. 기라는 양식은 단순히 일의 시말을 기록하는 데 머물지 않고 이념적 규정을 넘어 자기확장을 함으로써 생명력을 발휘한다. 神異를 사실의 기록이라는 양식적 틀에 아우름으로써 현실성을 갖게 하고, 議論성을 강화하여 자칫 양식의 경계를 넘을 듯하면서도 기록성이라는 양식적 규범성은 벗어나지 않는다. 또한 위대한 功業의 기록물에서 개인 체험의 서술물로, 寺刹重修記에서 승려의 所居記로, 불교적 소거기에서 성리학적 樓亭記로 사상사적 흐름을 따라서 영역확장을 하며 역사적 탄력성을 발휘한다. 따라서 허구의 양식인 소설을 중심에 두고 모든 한문학 양식을 수필에 몰아넣어야 하는 서구적 양식 논의를 동아시아 한자문화권의 중세문학사에 적용하는 것은 무리가 많다. 경계를 넘어서면서도 경계를 허물지 않는 한문학의 탄력성은, 문학과 다른 예술과의 경계를 허물고 통합의 방향으로 나아가는 지금의 상황에서 많은 시사점을 던져준다. 또한 현실적 기능성에 바탕을 두고 현실생활과 긴밀한 관련을 맺은 한문학은, 갈래나누기에 있어 기능과 서술방식을 모두 아우른다. 기능과 서술방식을 아우름으로써 뭇표현들을 문학의 영역으로 끌어들이는 포괄적인 시각은, 자신의 방식으로 자신을 드러내고 싶어하는 오늘의 풍토에 매우 유용하다. This is a research paper on the flexibility of genre in view of the historical aspects of Sino-Korean Literature focusing on Ki(記) of the late Goryeo Dynasty. Sino-Korean Literature of the late Goryeo Dynasty reflected the shift from Buddism to Sungrihak(性理學, Metaphysical Confucianism). The flexibility of Confucianism coexisting with Buddism brought about a new abundance in the history of Sino-Korean Literature. The genre Ki(記) not only recorded facts from the beginning to the end but also showed its vitality by expanding its field beyond the limit of the genre. Being involved in the frame of record of the facts, religious inspiration(神異) also has the sense of realism. Also by intensifying one's view, it is already beyond the boundary of genre but it doesn't break its principles. From a document of one's great personal achievement to a story of one's personal experiences, from a record of temple reconstruction(寺刹重修記) to a record of monks residences(승려의 所居記), from the residence record for monks in Buddism to the record for a pavilion in Sungrihak(성리학적 樓亭記), All these records have shown the flexibility of genre and the trend of thought and the changes that took place. Consequently, it will be rather unreasonable to apply the western form to the medieval literature history based on Chinese characters in East Asia. This is because the form of essays, non-main stream genre in the western forms, can't cover all of the Sino-Korean Literature genres focusing on the non-fictional record. The flexibility of Sino-Korean Literature is already beyond the boundary of the genre but it doesn't break its principles. So it indicates progress in the unity of the literature and other arts. Having both the function and the form of narration in classifying the genre, Sino-Korean Literature based on the practical function is also closely connected to the realities of life. To absorb a variety of expressions in the genre of literature, it is able to reflect the current trends to reveal one's own life in accordance with his own lifestyle.
