Driven by the potential advantages and promising applications of Organic photovoltaics (OPVs), Donor-Acceptor (D-A) copolymers have been intensively investigated in the past years. Also, combining electron-rich and electron-deficient units to form D-A type of alternating polymers is the most widely used strategy to develop low band gap polymers. This strategy helps the polymer to have a broad absorption spectra. It is expected that polymer have a high power conversion efficiency. In this study, we synthesized effective push-pull type of low band gap copolymers with a benzo[2,1-b;3,4-b’]dithiophene(BDP) as a weak donor unit and a isoindigo as a strong acceptor unit via Stille coupling reaction. The synthesized polymer was characterized optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties, respectively.

The rapid development of organic solar cells (OSCs) based on nonfullerene acceptors (NFAs) has attracted increasing attention during the past few years, with a record power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of over 15% in the bulk-heterojunction single cells. This NFAs mostly synthesized between aldehyde and active hydrogen compounds via the Knoevenagel condensation. A Knoevenagel condensation is a nucleophilic addition of an active hydrogen compound to a carbonyl group followed by a dehydration reaction in which a molecule of water is eliminated. Sometimes, it would cause the isomerization of NFAs, this is hard to separate the isomers for purification, and burden to the mass production with high purity. In this study, we demonstrate the relationship between (Z) and (E) stereoisomers through the synthesizing 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT)-based NFAs. Moreover, we succeeded to get dominant (Z) isomer among the EDOT-based NFAs by controlling steric hindrance and synthetic process.

우리나라는 농경사회에서 산업화 사회로 발전하면서 도심지로 인구유입이 급속도로 증가하기 시작하였으며 인구증가로 인한 주택부족 문제로 아파트단지가 대규모로 형성되고 자동차수요 증가에 따라 많은 주차공간이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 주 차공간 확보 및 상업시설 확보를 위한 지하층 공사가 활발히 진행되었다. 초기 지하굴착공사는 낮은 심도였기 때문에 흙막이공 사가 없이 공사를 진행하였으나 건물의 밀도증가와 고층빌딩 증가로 인하여 대심도, 대규모 굴착공사가 필요하게 되었다. 정부 에서는 흙막이 공사의 중요성을 인지하고 관리·감독하기 위해 지하안전관리에 관한 특별법을 제정하여 2018년 1월 1일부터 시행하게 되었다. 기존 흙막이공사 설계는 주로 탄소성법해석을 적용하였으나 지하안전관리에 관한 특별법 이후 탄소성해석, 수치해석, 지하수 흐름분석등을 복합적으로 검토하여 설계하고 있다. 따라서 탄소성해석과 수치해석의 상호 결과값의 신뢰성 문제 및 오차범의를 최소화 하기 위한 연구가 필요하다.
Synthesis of naphotodithiophene based conjugated polymers for polymer solar cells

Polymer solar cells(PSCs), generally based on the bulk-heterojunction (BHJ) concept, have attracted tremendous attention due to their unique advantages including low cost, light weight, and potential applications in flexible and large-area devices. It needed to design conjugated polymers with high efficiency. The BDT is another well used donor unit in high performance polymers at present. Because it have many advantages which are broad π conjugation length, low HOMO level and high charge carrier mobility. To have a BDT``s advantages and additional properties, we synthesized a naphtodithiophene(NDT). The NDT has improved planarity and expanded conjugation length with a fused diphenyl rings. It helps to form highly ordered films that facilitate charge-carrier transport. So we introduced NDT derivative as a donor material and synthesized conjugated polymer via Stille coupling reaction. The synthesized polymer showed different properties compared with BDT-based polymer. To demonstrate this effects, The polymers were characterized optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties, respectively.
