초등학교 체육교과서 내용 비교분석: 경쟁활동을 중심으로

The purpose of the present study was to analyze contents of elementary school physical education textbooks that were certified by government according to the revised national curriculum in 2009. The textbook analysis focused on how content of elementary school physical education textbooks philosophy and purpose of national curriculum. Total 8 kinds of elementary school physical education textbooks were selected for the present study. The study conducts the technical analysis of structural characteristics applying paper ratio, example sports, and unit structure. Also, comparative analysis was conducted using 3 analysis factors . comprehension, physical performance ability, and regulatory practice ability. The results of the study show that textbook introduced too many examples about sport events than structural capacity so that it becomes simple introduction rather than the profound comprehension. In context part, study pointed out that textbooks are poor at explaining the ability of regulation practice. Therefore, the study concluded that it is necessary to utilize characteristics of physical education and to change of teaching-learning method in order to effectively reflect philosophy and purpose of national curriculum.
