Intestinal disease is a global health problem affecting millions of people. To investigate therapeutic compounds and unveil the mechanisms of the diseases, numerous in vitro intestine models have been developed as alternatives to animal surrogates. Intestinal organoids have shown that they can emulate major human physiology, but it is difficult to control their growth and maturation. On the other hand, microphysiological systems (MPSs) have been enabled to recapitulate intestinal tissues in vitro and its ecosystem with commensal microbiomes, their geometrical complexity is limited to 2D or 2.5D architectures. For this reason, 3D bioprinting has gained growing interest since it can be used to mimic 3D complex physiology such as cell-cell or cell-matrix interaction. Here, we bioprinted a tubular intestine model using a colon-derived decellularized extracellular matrix (Colon dECM). We observed that Colon dECM promotes spontaneous maturation of intestinal epithelial cells, especially its enteroendocrine functions. Furthermore, the 3D bioprinted tubular model with a hollow lumen showed cellular maturation and self-organization demonstrating distinctive tissue morphogenesis. We envisage this advanced in vitro intestine model as a platform to study intestinal morphogenesis, disease, and treatments.

In this paper, we design a electro magnetic force equipment for the analyzing characteristics of EPPR Valve (Electro-Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve) solenoid and construct an experimental device to measuring the value of electro magnetic force according to the spool displacement and input current of valve . The experimental device fixes the linear stage to the jig, applies displacement to the valve and the input current to the valve using the power supply. The objective is to measure the pure magnetic force by amplifier the signal from the load cell connected to the spool end of the valve through the amplifier and removing the self weight of the spool through calibration.

Recently, swash plate type hydraulic axial piston motor are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost. Structural problem of the swash plate type motor is that tilting angle of swash plate should be limited to relatively small value and lateral force on pistons has an undesirable effect in reciprocating motion. To solve these problems, piston rod mechanism, which is commonly used in bent axis type motor is considered to be applied to the swash plate type motor. In this paper, the torque for the swash plate motion of a swash plate hydraulic motor with constant velocity joint and piston rod mechanism is analyzed using mathematical modeling and Virtual.lab, a multibody dynamics analysis program.

The gerotor pump is mainly used in low-speed, high-torque hydraulic motors, and is also applied as a small priming hydraulic pump. Gerotor pumps have been widely used in various fields. For this reason, development of high capacity tooth shapes is needed to improve efficiency. In this paper, a new lobe shape is invented by modifying the cycloid tooth surface using the mapping function. After a new rotor is created, the mate inner rotor profile is generated using the new rotating rotor simulation technique. The characteristics of the new gerotor pump thus designed are analyzed.
