In this study various investigations were carried out to analyze the causes of leakage for 20 years on the slope of the downstream side of the dam during the ○○ dam precision safety diagnosis. Analysis showed that the possibility of underground water flowing through the valley section of the mountain area extremely low, and that direct leakage of the reservoir's freshwater was confirmed as the main leakage path.

이 논문에서는 초기 지중응력(initial ground stress)으로 인한 수직터널의 균열 발생여부를 확인하기 위해 수압파쇄시험을 실시하였다. 수압파쇄시험 결과 터널 내 발생된 균열은 초기 지중응력과의 직접적인 연관성이 낮음을 확인하였다.

This study compared the result applying two analysis methods based on Newmark Sliding Block theory to calculate permanent displacement that is an estimating factor for seismic safety of Fill Dam. It was analyzed FEM numerical coupled-analysis and Makdisi-Seed method. The permanent displacement for the body of dam during earthquake indicated similar displacements with each of them at the same seismic load.

The applicability of existing rock cover criteria for concrete lining pressure tunnels has bee reviewed in this paper and limitations placed based on site geology and any other site specific characteristics. Because the geological factors may occur great difficulties in operating pressure tunnels, it was necessary to fully recognize this factors at tunnel design and construction stages.
