The large scaled construction in urban community area tend to increase in recent years.but the construction vibration caused in process of construction would trespass the right to protect one,s environment in the vicinity of construction site. in this research the propagation characterictics of vibration due to construction, especially pile driving in the deposit layer, will be studied and the current regulation that restrict these construction. Schematic characteristics of propagation of vibration due to pile driving was clarified from field measurement. Further researches could be direeted by the results.

The considerations of negative pore pressure is difficult to analyze of the tidal dike as a function of influence of tidal variations, but The nagative pore pressure is ionportant in the stability of soil structures. In this study it is analized free water surface variations total head pore pressure and velocity vector distributions of the tidal dike. The model in this study is tested in the lab. and simulated by the finite element method program used Galerkin residual method. The results of this study obtained that a good picture of total head and pore pressure varitions in the tidal dike as a function of external tidal variations. Also it should be recognize that the free water surface is not a boundary condition but a line that pore pressure is zero.

During an embankment is affected by a tidal fluctation, as to the variation of the free surface into the structures, it take place the behavior of the embankment, reduce it's stability. The outside of the embankment which influenced by the tidal fluctation divided into saturated, saturated-nonsaturated, and nonsaturated domain. This paper analyzes the free surface into the embankment as to the regular variation of water level, and the use of an experimental model show these phenomena. The results are as follows: 1) H₂=O(cm): In the seepage phenomena of the boundary between K₁ and K₂domain, the height of free surface is high in KL domain, when water level rising and the height of free surface is heigh in K₂domain when water level descending. 2) H2=40(cm): In the seepage phenomena of the boundary between K₁ and K₂ domain, the height of the free surface is high in K₂ domain when water level rising, of dropping. Especially the djfference is larger for the draw-down. 3) H₂ =2O(cm) : i) H₁< H₂: The free surface now from the interior to exterior of an embankment, when water level rising, or dropping. ⅱ) H₁> H₂: The free surface flow from the exterior to the interior of an embankment, when water level rising, or dropping. ⅲ) H₁=H₂: The phenomena of the hysterics is appear In between the water and the soil particles.

토목공학연구에 있어서, 탄성파에 의한 탐사는, 기초부지의 지질학적인 재고에서 연구적용하는데 중요한 사항이다. 일반적으로 토목지질조사에서는 S.P.T.나 재하시험 등 일차원적 천층의 실험으로 전체지형을 추정해왔는데 탄성파 탐사에 의하면 2차원적인 천층의 연속적인 지질계황을 알 수 있어 토목의 기초지질 조사에 효과적일 것으로 생각된다. In carring out seismis refraction prospecting for civil engineering investigations, it is important 10 plan an investigation appropriate to the objectives, taking into consideration about the geology of the site. Usually, in the geology of the site survey, we are estimited at the whole geology with are one dimensional examination by S.P.T. or load test as a shallow examination. but the seismis refrection prospecting is impressively effective in the geology of the civil site survey by which we see the general geology condition with the two dimensional shallow seismis examination.

Most of seepage problems in nonsteady state have been studied experimentally because they were frequently impossible to solve theoretically. The most important point in the nonsteady seepage problem is! how to detetermine the position of free surface and its variation. This pliper is studied by experiments on the instantaneous drawdown in the multi layer porous media dam. Especially it is noted that seepage and discharge problems in the estuary dam.

It ia studied for free water surface variations of transient flow in the tidal dike which is constructing in Kun San. The model in this study is tested in the lab. and simulated by the finite element method program used Galerkin residual method named TRASSE. In this study it is obtained that the tested and simulated resu its are fitted well and the tidal dike can be analized for external boundary variations by the use of F.E.M.
