본 고의 목적은 홉스테드의 문화 차원 이론을 바탕으로 한 중 TV 가족 드라마에 나타난 고부 관계의 비교분석을 통해 문화적 교육내용을 밝히는 데 있다. 문화 이해와 습득의 결여로 중국인 한국어 학습자는 한국 문화를 접했을 때 내적 갈등 및 충돌을 일으키는 경우가 많다. 이를 완화시키기 위한 하나의 장치로 한 중 문화 간의 ‘문화 차원’을 파악하고자 하였다. 사람의 심리, 행동, 사회적 배경을 반영하는 TV 드라마를 문화 차원을 살펴보기 위한 자료로 선택하였고 시청률이 높은 16편의 한 중 가족 드라마를 비교하여 드라마의 상황과 맥락에 숨겨 있는 문화 차원을 분석하였다. 이를 통해 한 중 문화 차이의 근본 원인을 밝혀내고 교육내용을 도출했다. 가족은 기본적으로 부부관계, 형제 관계, 세대 관계로 나타나는데 본 연구에서는 확장된 관계로서 혈연 관계가 아닌인위적으로 관계로 형성된 고부 관계를 고찰하였다. 홉스테드의 한 중 문화 차원 연구 결과에 근거하여 수치 차이가 가장 큰 3가지 문화 차원을 위주로 분석하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 구조주의 관점에서 출발하여 양국 드라마에 나타난 구체적인 상황을 근거로 들어 고부 이미지 문화 차원의 형태적인 교육내용과 기능적인 교육내용을 밝히고자 한다. 이 연구를 통해 중국인 한국어 학습자가 한 중 문화 차원의 차이를 습득하고 갈등 및 충돌을 해소하여 원활한 의사소통을 하는 데에 도움이 될 수 있기를 기대한다. This paper aims to compare and analyze mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship portrayed in Korean-Chinese TV family dramas and reveal cultural educational content through Hofstead’s cultural dimension theory. Due to lack of cultural understanding and acquisition, Korean learners of Chinese often perceive cultural differences in a new cultural environment, leading to conflicts. There is a need to adapt to cultural dimensions between Korean and Chinese cultures to alleviate conflicts in family life. This study compared clues from TV dramas that reflect people's psychology, behavior, and social background data to examine cultural dimension of Korean and Chinese cultures. Cultural dimensions hidden in situation and context of drama was analyzed by comparing 16 Korean and Chinese family dramas with high viewer ratings. Based on the results of Hofstead’s study of cultural dimensions, three cultural dimensions with largest numerical differences were analyzed on Korea and China. The paper revealed morphological and feducational educational content of cultural dimension of high wealth image based on actual situation shown in dramas of Korea and China starting from structuralism that can contribute to Chinese Korean language learners acquire differences in cultural dimension of Korea and China and resolve conflicts.
