The effect of diphenyl terephthalate(DBW) on the polycondensation reaction of his(2-hydroxyethyl) terephthalate(BHET) has been investigated using various catalysts. The analysis of byproduct produced from the polycondensation by high performance liquid chromatofyaphy(HPLC) and of the molecular weight of polycondensed poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) by gel permeation chromatography showed that the increasing rate of the molecular weight of PET by chain coupling reaction of DPT was enhanced by zinc acetate, while the polydispersity and the increasing rate of the molecular weight were decreased by sodium ethoxide owing to its promoting effect of the ester-ester interchange reaction. Assuming that the chain coupling reaction of DPT with PET chains 1311ows a third order reaction, the kinetic consideration of the polycondensation reaction of BHET was performed using the analysis results of byproduct during the polymerization by HPLC.

This study was carried out to investigate the relation between the Onbyung and the skin disease, and classify the medical treatment by some categories. The results were as follows ; 1. Onbyung reduces the Eun(陰) by the fever and the skin disease results from the deficiency of the Eun and blood. 2. We can grasp the depth of the disease and the damage of the Jung Gi(正氣) by the observation of the every condition on the skin disease. 3. Medical treatment 1. Hae Phyo Bub(解表法) Using the method of the perspiration, we take care of the preservation of the sap. 2. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) of the using Gypsum and Tong Ha Bub(通下法) of the using Dae whang(大黃). A. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) When the Sa(邪) stay the Gi area(氣分), we use the radiational material or the Wha Sub(化濕法) material with Gypsum. B. Tong Ha Bub(通下法) We reduce the evil fever by the Ha Bub(下法) 3. Cheong Yul Hae Dog Bub(淸熱解毒法) and Ja Eum Bub(滋陰法) 4. Wha Sub Bub(化濕法) This treatment reduce the fever by eliminating the urine or the sweat.

This research is an investigation of the real context of a skin-disease in Korea, China and Japan that are doing similar oriental medical science. By doing this, the research created a moment of exploring that to which way the oriental medical science are going in these three countries at present. The process of collecting material for the research clearly provided an opportunity of recognizing the advantages of the three points: first is the recent inclination in China that is trying to make a connection between the oriental medical science and the Western one: second is a method of treatment centering a symptomatic treatment with regard to the Ko-Bang(古方) in Japan: last is a tradition that are remained as a original form in its clinical experience in Korea. Recently, various efforts to make more speedy and precision machine tool to improve productivity and also various efforts to solve environmental problem are going on, so that dry cutting in manufacturing industry, which needs environmental conscious design and development of manufacturing technique, is becoming a very important assignment to solve. Because dry cutting does not use cutting fluid, we need other methods that can be used instead of cutting fluid, which does cooling, lubricating, chip washing, and anti-corrosion. Especially, because turning is a continuous work, the consideration of tool life and surface roughness due to continuous heat and poor lubrication is important. The purposes of this paper are the consideration of how well the compressed air can work instead of cutting fluid, and also the development of the method to select the optimum machining condition by the minimum numbers of experiments through the Taguchi method.
