대학 교양영어 수업의 인공지능(AI) 활용에 대한 학습자 중심의 효율성 분석: 토익(TOEIC) 수업을 중심으로

본 논문은 대학영어(TOEIC)의 인공지능(AI) 활용에 대한 학습자 중심의 효율성을 분석하는 것이다. 또한, 현 대학생의 인공지능 활용뿐만 아니라 앞으로의 대학영어 학습환경 및 수업 형태를 예측하여 효율적인 학습 방법을 고안하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 연구를 위해 현재 재학 중인 교양영어 수강생을 중심으로 인공지능 활용과 인간 교수자의 수업 효율성을 설문하여 비교 조사하였다. 더불어서 미래의 학습환경을 내다보기 위해 지금의 초중고교 학생의 인공지능 활용 정도를 선행연구에서 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 현재 재학생 중심의 인공지능과 인간 교수자의 설문에서는 인간 교수자의 학습 효율성에 대한 선호도가 높았다. 이것은 아직 인공지능이 세련되게 발달하지 않았다는 점과 학습자가 대학영어 시간에 인공지능을 사용하는 것에 익숙치 않은 것으로 추측할 수 있다. 한편, 현재 초중고교 학생의 인공지능 활용의 지원과 교육은 앞으로 대학영어의 흐름을 바꿀 수 있을 것이라 고려한다. 따라서 교수자들은 이에 대한 교수자의 역할과 수업 방법의 변화에 대해 적극적으로 대처해야 할 것이다. This paper analyzes the learner-centered efficiency of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in college English (TOEIC). In addition, it is intended to devise an efficient learning method by predicting the future college English learning environment and class method as well as the use of artificial intelligence by attending college students. For this study, a survey was conducted by surveying the use of artificial intelligence and the teaching efficiency of human professors, focusing on college English students currently attending. In addition, in order to predict the future learning environment, the degree of use of artificial intelligence by elementary, middle and high school students today was examined in previous studies. As a result, in the survey of artificial intelligence and human professors centered on attending students, human professors’ preference for learning efficiency was high. This can be assumed that artificial intelligence has not yet developed in a sophisticated way, and that learners are not used to using artificial intelligence in college English class. On the other hand, it is considered that the current support and education of elementary, middle and high school students in the use of artificial intelligence can change the flow of college English in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to actively comply with changes in the role of professors and teaching methods.
