      • 의사소통능력에 관한 문번교육의 연구 -중학교 교과서 분석을 중심을-

        The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the grammatical contents in middle school English textbooks, and discover how well grammar education is conducted. For the purpose of this study, fifteen middle school English textbooks, which were authorized by the Ministry of Education`s 7th national curriculum, were chosen at random and analyzed for the aforementioned criteria. The results of this analysis are as follows. First, according to the 7th English curriculum guideline, no grammatical terms should be used when teaching language forms in English textbooks. Instead, example sentences should be provided and students should be asked to determine the grammatical importance of selected bolded words. However, text C used grammatical terms to explain language forms, while only presenting a limited number of sentences. Second, there are thirty-six languages forms according to the 7th national curriculum. However, on average each textbook presented only fifteen of the language forms. This means that most of textbooks presented language forms insufficiently, but evenly. Third, the fifteen textbooks introduced ``infinitive`` and ``gerund`` sentences accurately. However, infinitive sentences were illusrated in grater number than gerund sentences. In addition, the majority of the textbooks failed to properly organize within the four language skills. To compound these shortcomings the textbooks followed with effective, communicative activities. In conclusion, teaching English grammar should connect with effective communicative activities for students. Therefore, the method of grammar teaching which can improve communicative competence and understanding should fall within the parameters of the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in all English textbooks. Teachers should be afforded the opportunity to choose the suitable textbooks for students to improve their skills from a wide variety of well rounded texts.

        고등학생의 영어 모음삽입에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to examine vowel epenthesis in the English spoken by high school students in Korea and the correlation between vowel epenthesis and English test scores. The subjects were 20 high school students divided into two groups, proficient and less proficient speakers, based on the results of an English test. Five hypotheses are suggested: First, the frequency of vowel insertion in the less proficient group will be higher than that in the proficient group. Second, the frequency of vowel insertion after coda fricatives will be higher than that after coda stops. Third, the frequency of vowel insertion after voiced sounds will be higher than that after voiceless sounds. Fourth, the frequency of [i] vowel insertion in the less proficient group will be higher than that in the proficient group. The results of the study are as follows. The frequency of vowel insertion in the less proficient group was higher than that in the proficient group. The frequency of vowel insertion after coda fricatives was higher than that after coda stops. The frequency of vowel insertion after voiced sounds was higher than that after voiceless sounds. There was no difference in the frequency of [i] vowel insertion between the two groups. To conclude, vowel epenthesis in English coda stops and fricatives was closely related to the English test scores. Korean high school students`` production in English appears to depend on their English proficiency.

        번역자질에 관한 연구

        The aim of this paper is to analyse a characteristic phenomenon of translated(English-Korean) versus original (Non-Translated) Korean texts, with a focus on the reporting verb SAY toward a corpus-based approach. According to Mona Baker, there are universal features of translation, namely simplification, explicitation, normalisation. Based on the assumption that there are certain features which are typical translated texts between original and translated texts in a certain language. The finding about the most frequent types of categories in TT is that there are malhada, mutda , and ellipsis . My findings show that the types of malhada and mutda are more frequent in TT than in NTT. On the other hand, the frequency of ellipsis is lower in TT than in NTT. I provide evidence in support of possible universal features that over-represent features that have straightforward translation equivalents in the SL as attested in Eskola(2004). Also in Laviosa s study(1996), most frequent words occur more frequently in translated language than in non-translated language. Even though this paper is limited to achieving the information part because of only studying word ‘say’, the result may be useful to approach part of the universal features.

        어린자녀를 둔 맞벌이부부들의 일상생활경험

        어린자녀를 둔 맞벌이부부들이 일상생활에서 배분하는 시간 구조와 활동 순간 느끼는 순간의 정서(emotion)경험을 살펴보기 위해 맞벌이부부 91쌍의 일상생활경험을 조사하였다. 본 연구는 맞벌이부부들의 일상현실을 ‘어디에서 무엇을 하며, 누구와 있는가’와 같은 일상시간의 외적이고 구조적인 경험뿐만 아니라 이러한 상황에서 남편과 아내가 느끼는 순간의 정서경험 자료를 동시에 수집할 수 있는 경험표집법(ESM)을 활용하였다. 남편과 아내에게 하루 6번 총 5일 동안 동시에 신호를 주고, 그 순간의 외적인 상황과 정서경험을 기입하게 하여 수집한 경험 자료를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째. 부부 모두 경제활동을 수행하는 맞벌이가구임에도 불구하고, 아내는 남편에 비해 가사 및 자녀돌봄 등 가족영역에 보내는 시간비율이 더 높고, 유급활동과 여가활동비율은 남편보다 낮아서 부부간에 상이한 일상시간구조를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째. 일상맥락을 구분하지 않고 전반적인 부부의 정서경험을 비교해 본 결과, 맞벌이남편은 배우자인 아내에 비해 일상 활동 순간순간을 더 긍정적으로 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째. 맞벌이남편은 일터에서 주요 업무를 보는 순간을 일상 활동 중 가장 부정적으로 느끼고 있었으며, 배우자인 아내보다 부정정서 수준이 더 높았다. 반면에 아내는 남편에 비해 가사일이나 자녀돌봄 순간을 더 부정적으로 느끼고 있었으며, 자신의 유급활동 순간보다도 덜 긍정적인 느낌으로 보고하고 있다. 즉 전통적으로 남녀에게 부여된 활동 영역에서 남편과 아내는 각각 더 부정적으로 느끼고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 주요결과에 기초하여 맞벌이부부의 일상시간구조와 정서경험에 대한 사회규범의 영향을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study is to describe the temporal and emotional organization of daily lives of 91 dual-earner couples with young children. Experience Sampling Method(ESM) was used, which provided an access to where, how, and with whom they spent their daily time and how they experienced different settings. A sample of 91 couples(91 husbands, 91 wives) reported their activities, companion contexts and emotional states six times a day for a consecutive 5-day period. They provided 5,141 self-reports, and the unit of analysis was based on the couple level(the couple was used as the unit of analysis). The major findings are as follows; First, there was a significant difference in daily time pattern between husbands and wives. While wives, the primary caretakers of their families, spent more time on housework and childcare than husbands, they spent less time on paid work and leisure than their spouses. Second, husbands experienced positive emotions with more intensity than their wives in overall average. Third, the pattern of daily emotional experiences differed markedly. Wives reported more intense negative states in childcare and housework, in other words, women's traditional family role. On the contrary, husbands who are not primarily responsible for housework and childcare, reported experiencing stronger positive emotions for those activities than wives. Based on these findings, the significance of gender role on dual-earner couples' daily lives was discussed.

        중 · 고령층의 여가시간 사용분석 연구

        The purpose of the study is to explore leisure time use of older adults and find out relationships between active/passive leisure activities and socioeconomic backgrounds in order to prepare later life for homo hundred. The subjects were 336 adults aged 50 and over in Busan city, Korea. Results are as follows. First, the subjects spent more time in active leisure than passive. But ratio of passive leisure time is getting higher with age. Second, cognitive activities changed from reading, computing, internet to hobbies, card games with age. Third, participation of active leisure activities are related to age and socioeconomic backgrounds. From this study, lifelong education including leisure education should support older adults to redesign their later life for homo hundred. Second, leisure education should focus on increasing the ability of accepting and utilizing leisure opportunities for older adults. Third, the role of lifelong educator should be emphasized to involve education field more actively. Forth, lifelong education institutions should have the knowledge of the purposes and motivations of older adults who participate in order to provide proper programs continuously. The connection between lifelong education and leisure time use and activities would lead later life with the quality of life and active aging.

        20-30대 여성의 유행선도력에 따른 디자이너 구두 브랜드의 구매 선택기준과 만족도에 관한 연구

        The study examines the current state of designer shoe brands, which are gaining a great deal of popularity in the footwear market, and offer bold designs that cannot be found in typical ready-made shoes. Women in their 20`s and 30`s who are sensitive to fashion are classified into sub-groups based on fashion leadership, and comparative analyses conducted among the sub-groups on selection criteria of designer shoe brands, intention of purchase and satisfaction according to fashion leadership. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted of women residing in Seoul and the Capital Area, and 371 questionnaires were used for final data analyses. As a result of the study, the following conclusions were reached. For satisfaction with the purchase of designer shoe brands according to fashion leadership among sub-groups, it was found that the satisfaction with the purchase of designer shoe brands is higher among fashion laggards than among fashion leaders, dual fashion leaders and fashion followers. Dual fashion leaders and fashion leaders showed the highest purchase satisfaction in terms of color, size, material and durability.

      • 가족센터 1인가구 프로그램에 관한 1인가구의 요구 탐색

        본 연구의 목적은 지역 가족센터의 1인가구 프로그램의 내용과 운영방식에 관한 1인가구의 요구를 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 서울 및 경기 지역 가족센터 1인가구 프로그램 참여자 6명과 비참여자 5명을 대상으로 각각 집단면접을 실시하였다. 참여자 집단은 20~30대, 비참여자 집단은 40~50대 1인가구로 구성되었다. 분석 결과, 내용상으로는 생애주기 단계별 이행이나 전환을 원활하게 돕는 프로그램, 외로움을 줄일 수 있는 정서적 지원프로그램, 식사나 취미활동을 매개로 한 공동체 프로그램에 관한 요구가 있었고, 운영상으로는 남녀 모두 참여할 수 있는 주제 기획, 지속적인 회원관리와 홍보, 융통성 있는 참여 요건 적용 및 개인정보보호, 실질적으로 도움이 되는 정보 제공 등 요구를 표현하였다. 연구 결과에 토대하여 가족센터 프로그램에 다음과 같은 제언이 가능하다. 첫째, 지역사회 인프라를 활용하여 식사와 취미활동을 매개로 한 공동체 활동 등 1인가구의 요구에 부합하는 프로그램 내용을 기획하고, 둘째, 프로그램 참여 요건을 완화하며, 셋째, 센터의 다양한 사업에 대한 홍보와 노출을 통해 센터 인지도를 높이고, 넷째, 사생활과 개인정보보호에 대한 보장으로 프로그램 참여에 대한 심리적 문턱을 낮추는 것이 필요하다. This study aims to provide information for program development for single-person households delivered at local Family Centers. We conducted two focus group interviews with single-person households, one with center program participants, and the other with non-participants. The participant group consisted of six people in their 20s and 30s, while the non-participant group consisted of five people in their 40s and 50s. The results show that single-person households need programs to facilitate transitions in life courses, reducing loneliness, and social gathering through sharing meals or hubbies. They also need programs for both men and women, a consistent member management, flexible participation requirements, privacy protection, and practical information. Based on the results of the focus group interviews, we made the following suggestions. First, program contents need to be planned according to the needs of single-person households, Second, flexibility is needed on the targets and contents of the programs for single-person households. Third, public awareness should be increased regarding Family Centers to attract both men and women. Finally, protection on privacy and personal information needs to be enforced.

        18세기 남성의 가발형태와 현대 남성의 앤드로지너스 헤어스타일과의 연관성

        The hairstyle is an important factor in determining one`s impression on the person. It reflects the time and culture in the perspective of history. It not only shows the style of a person but also the type of beauty which the person pursues in a period. It is also an important means showing beauty. It is found that there is the similarity in that the contemporary men and 18th men commonly used the feminine, exaggerated hair style, makeup and accessories. So, I will study here on the feminine phenomenon found in 18th century men and the androgynous trend observed in contemporary men. The androgynous trend represents a phenomenon which is shown when the people want to express their opinion and their own free will by combining the masculine images and feminine image in a society where the conventional social and culture concepts classifying everything into male and female are too strict. The androgynous trend which has the characteristics of both sexes is a way of expression which is shown when either men or women imitate and interpret the different appearance of the opposite sex in their own way. As a means of the expression of individuality, the hairstyle has been adopted and developed according to the times. Even though the time changes, the desire for beauty is a means of a person`s expression not just for women but for men.
