한국 전통도시조경에 대한 소고 : 전통도시숲의 문화와 생태
장동수 안성산업대학교 2002 論文集 Vol.34 No.-
The Korean traditional urban forest is not a natural forest but a intentionally planted forest around a urban area. There were people' public activities something like an urban park. So most of forests have been planted the center and boundary of the city. People usually regard the forest as a symbol of home town and a source of pride. The goal of this study is to review cultural meaning and ecological concept of the forest and to propose some guidelines to contemporary park planning. First, the forest is usually located around the meaningful space in a city. So the forest has a lot of cultural meanings which play a more important role as a communication media. Second, the Korean traditional urban forest serves as a conspicuous visual element that enhances the sense of place in a city, because it locates in a center and enclosing surroundings in a city. So the forest become generally known as a famous place. A center located forest enhances a sense of authority for those people at the high class. Otherwise, a boundary located forest enhances the feeling of enclose and serves as the symbol of peoples' status and hierarchy by the region. Third, the Korean traditional urban forest of the center(the main ridge of the guardian hill around administrative buildings and facilities) and enclosing boundary(river banks, floodgates, ridges) of the city is to accomplish the green network which links and divides urban area. It is the most ecological method of urban planning to construct friendly environment in Korea. Essentially, the forest completed a traditional urban topography encircled on all sides without opening. It was built in order to fence off a floodgate(the place where water flows into or flows out), a gorge, and a ridge around the city. This type of forest not only played an important part in protection against cold wind in winter and storm in summer, but also controlled internal temperature and humidity.
THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF FLAT PLATE PULSATING HEAT PIPES WITH MINI- AND MICROCHANNELS
장동수,이은지,이상훈,김용찬 대한설비공학회 2014 International Journal Of Air-Conditioning and Refr Vol.22 No.4
This study presents the thermal performance of pulsating heat pipes (PHPs) using distilled water with mini- and microchannels. The PHPs were fabricated with the channels of square cross section which had hydraulic diameters ranged from 1.6 to 3.2 mm in minichannels and from 0.714 to 0.941 mm in microchannels. The performance of the PHPs was measured and analyzed by varying hydraulic diameter, number of turns, filling ratio, and input power. The filling ratio of the working fluid varied from 0% to 100%. The input power was controlled in the range between 3.6 and 150 W. The hydraulic diameter, number of turns, filling ratio, and input power showed strong influence on the performance of the PHP. In the PHP models with mini- and microchannels, optimum working conditions, such as filling ratio and heat input, were quite different according to channel size.
