Decline in risk-free interest rates increases the present value and decreases the future value, thereby expanding wealth inequality. The quantitative easing, a non-traditional monetary policy after the 2008 financial crisis, has recently become a major means of implementing low-interest rates policies along with countries’ expansionary monetary policies to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. Low-interest rates policies and changes in monetary policy measures in major countries to overcome the crisis, which began in early 2000, led to a surge in the value of real assets and eventually a rise in stock and real estate prices. This paper uses the Granger causality analysis, the impulse response function, and the variance decomposition method using major macroeconomic data of the U.S. for the period December 1998 - December 2019. This paper verifies the assumption that balance sheets and interest rates affect in the reverse direction, and the rise in real estate and stocks intensifies the imbalance between the person with assets and the person without assets, raising the Gini index and increasing inequality. As a result of the Granger causality analysis, an increase in the U.S. balance sheet affects the U.S. interest rates and the global interest rates, and a rise in the U.S. balance sheet affects the U.S. Gini index. As a result of the impulse response function analysis, it was found that the increase in the U.S. balance sheet affected the rise in the Gini index, and the rise in global stock and real estate prices also affected the increase in the Gini index. As a result of the analysis of the variance decomposition, it was found that the expansion of the balance sheet of the U.S. central bank had a significant impact on the U.S. Gini index.
iBeacon을 이용한 사용자 인증 및 IoT 제어 시스템

This paper proposed a model for user authentication and IoT control system based on iBeacon and lightweight cryptography. When a user’s device recognises a signal from iBeacon, the device exacutes application programs. The user inputs own authentication information through the application. Server verifies a user authentication information and gives permission to user for controlling IoT devices. We implemented an IoT control system based on lightweight cryptography such as LEA and LSH.

Pipeline increases throughput of the system that has long delay time, but has the problem that it increase considerably the area of system. To reduce design cost of pipelined systems, operations that has the same function within system should be shared to the same resources. To optimize resource sharing, selecting the best clock period is necessary. If a bad clock period for resource sharing is selected. throughput of pipelined system is decreased. Therefore, in this paper, we design IDCT circuit using the algorithm that select the best clock period by considering both of throughput and area of system.
스마트폰의 데이터베이스 보안을 위한 암호 애플리케이션 설계

The security on the rooting environment depends on secure database. We proposed an encryption app to be able to manage databases of several applications at once. Proposed application provides real-time encryption and decryption. Our application registers patterns of user identification, and chooses an application. Encrypted database is decrypted in real-time when application program is real-time when application program is run. After running the application program, the user can confirm the decrypted data. Our application was designed using an LEA algorithm to minimize to overload with smartphones.

Currently, about 79% of computers types in domestic companies are desktop. Desktops used by most companies have the problem that unauthorized users can access the desktop by booting. To complement these vulnerabilities, BIOS password and user account login have been used. But they are vulnerable because of bypassing authentication. In this paper, we proposed a remote booting system that uses fingerprint recognition and power control to complement the physical access to the desktop. The proposed system uses fingerprint recognition technology for user authentication. And it overcomes vulnerability of physical access to the system by controlling power. Proposed system enables secure remote booting against physical vulnerabilities on desktop.
