Recently, As more serious environmental problems of buildings, our country and the advanced countries are developing Green building assessment tools for estimating environmental performance of buildings. Especially, hospital architecture has acknowledged remedial value of environment as well as which have been relation with human beings relied on the quality of natural environment. So, it is not only desirable for the patients to make healing environment on the basis of eco-friendly architecture and the facilities have to be developed eco-environmentally. The purpose of this study is to prepare the basic data to develop the items of outdoor environmental assessment for hospital. Furthermore, for this research paper, we compared domestic green building certification criteria to foreign green building certification criteria, such as LEED v.2.2 and GBTool 2005. From the analysis results, we were able to grasp basic data of outdoor environment assessment for domestic hospital's Green Building Certification Criteria.
건축물의 대공간 집회시설의 실내공기질 개선방안에 관한 연구

Lately majority of churches have preferred to enlarge their worship area to both horizontal and vertical axis. According to expand their area which brings more devotees to the limited service area. Transform from a small church into a large church is no longer unprecedented issue in South Korea. As the size of church getting bigger, many unexpected issues become matters. One of the significant problem is that the number of people have experienced either fall a sleep or feel a doziness during their service period. Due to the limited condition for the specific building type such as religion facility(church), lAQ improvements is seriously concerned. Therefore, we are going to examine by using simulation tool, CF, a difference of ventilation efficiency about the location and number of windows, and find the best way of the ventilation efficiency in a multi-stories type church by changing the exhaust pipes location and size. Furthermore, in this thesis, by changing a ceiling height from the existing building to confirm that CO₂ have been satisfied for both the ventilation efficiency and IAQ.
업무용 건축물의 일사부하 저감을 통한 실내 온열환경 개선에 관한 연구

Recently, there is solar radiation matter on cooling loads in office buildings. In the summer, solar radiation has serious effect on cooling loads, therefore if solar radiation are possible to controls, cooling load could be decreased. This study aims on improving energy performance strategy of perimeter zone due to solar radiation in office buildings, and analyze the influence of external shading device that can rely on instrument installation, azimuth and shading length. It was conducted to analyze distinctive features and range of combination of external shading devices due to simulate perimeter model, and eQuest combinations were extracted from the results of simulation model. eQuest simulations were executed to cooling and solar radiation loads of each case. This study analyzed importance, patterns and influence of each case and suggest the guideline that can be used for design reference of office buildings. This study was conducted total 224 cases in the summer solstice which were based on azimuth angles, shading device width and shading installation form. Each case of the perimeter models were predicted to solar gain of window boundary in summer. Simulation tools were used ModelIT, SUNCAST, Apache module of VE(Virtual Environment) to predict energy performance.

Double skin facade is know that several features affected the building energy and daylighting performance. That is why the envelope is able consist of all architectural materials such as glass, aluminum, wood and insulation for vision of residents and works in building. Its specification is very diverse according to the building designers and building owners. In recent times, visual environment became a major focus and resulted in the development of cutting edge engineering of diverse glazing systems and shading devices by growing interests of friendly environment. Thus this research has evaluated the fluctuations of interior lighting and atmospheric conditions based on double skin facade systems. Especially in terms of daylighting environment as dependent on solar variations, this research provides quantitative analysis of interior lighting conditions and how it affects the living condition as well as improve the design of interior spaces.
