It is presented in this study a new efficient intelligent machining strategy, which can be used to remove the uncut volume at the boundary region of curved surfaces caused by cutter interference. The geometric form definitions and recognition of topological features of the surface triangulation mesh are used to generate cutter paths along successive and interconnected steepest pathways, that minimize the cusp height left after flat end milling. In order to machine the uncut volume gradually, the z-map cutter centers are adjusted to avoid cutter interference for the 6 kinds of avoidance types. And then, the generative subsequent paths are sequenced to determine the second step cutter paths for the next uncut volume. For the 2 kinds of test models with convex and concave surface region, the implemented software algorithm is evaluated by investigating the residual swelling of uncut volume for each machining step.

해양의 생태를 확인하고, 해양의 정보를 획득, 분석하기 위해서 고정된 고정형 부표보다 움직이는 자율형 부표가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 해양에서 자율적으로 움직이며, 환경 정보를 수집하고 통제 센터에 정보를 전송하기 위한 자율적인 부표 로봇 시스템의 설계와 제작에 대해 소개한다. 로봇에 필요한 에너지는 태양광을 이용하여 획득하였고, 수집한 데이터와 로봇의 원격제어는 wireless LAN으로 전송하였다. 로봇이 바다에서 파도나 외부 힘이 작용하였을 때 복원력 있게 설계 하였다. In other to monitor ecology of ocean and oceanic information an autonomous buoy is more preferable than a fixed buoy. This paper introduced a mechanical design and fabrication of autonomous buoy robot system for autonomously moving to get an environment information, transmitting data to the control center. The energy required for the robot is obtained by using solar power. Acquired data and robot’s remote control are transferred by a wireless LAN. The robot is designed to be stable even if it is faced with waves in the sea.

본 논문은 부표로봇에 부착된 카메라 영상의 흔들림을 보정하기 위하여 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구에서는 부표로봇의 각도측정에 사용하는 자이로 센서의 누적오차 및 노이즈 등의 문제를 해결하기 위해 새로운 기구 메커니즘을 영상처리와 결합한 방법을 제안한다. 이 알고리즘은 특징 점을 추출하기 위한 타깃을 제안한 기구에 부착하여 타깃의 모형 특징을 기반으로 영상을 보정하는 방법이다. In this paper, we propose a new method for stabilizing the image captured from a camera mounted on a buoy robot. In this study, in order to solve the problem of cumulative errors and noise produced by a general gyro sensor measuring the orientation angle of the buoy robot, we propose new method for stabilizing the image. In this method, image processing techniques are combined with a newly designed target mounting mechanism that adapts to wave fluctuations. New target extraction and angle estimation techniques are introduced, along with the new mounting mechanism used for the camera and the target, which produce a stabilized image even if the buoy robot is on fluctuating waves.

In this paper, we propose a new method for digital image stabilization for camera attached to the robot buoy. In this study, we propose a method that combines image processing and a new mechanism to solve the noise involvement and the cumulative error of gyro sensor which is usually used for a robot buoy. This algorithm is the way of digital image stabilization by making the target which extracts this feature, and by proposing a mechanism of the target mounting.
고 하중 PTZ의 모터 부하 감소를 위한 스프링 상수 설계

본 논문에서는 고 정밀, 고 하중 PTZ 카메라 에서 스텝모터가 사용될 때 외부 토크로 작용하는 스프링의 상수 결정 방법을 소개한다. 모터의 부하를 보상하는 스프링의 사용은 PTZ 카메라에 스텝모터를 적용하여 비싼 servo 모터를 사용하는 것 보다 더 가격을 절감 시킨다. 스프링 상수는 모터가 구동 될 때 모터 부하 상태와 최대 부하 위치를 분석함으로 결정된다. In this work, a new method of determining the spring constant which drives an external torque when the step motor is introduced in high precision and heavy load PTZ system. With this spring, the motor takes an advantage of compensating the external load, yielding to low cost step motor mounting on the PTZ system rather than a costly servo Motor. A spring constant is determined by considering the motor torque-load condition, and analyzing the maximum load location when the motor is driven with external load.

An axial fan has competitive advantages that can make air flow more straight and longer and produce larger air volume than the other kinds of fans. In those reasons, axial fans are widely used for ventilator, 4D cinema, duct, and so on. But, as it was designed and manufactured without any mathematical analysis or computer simulations, it is difficult to develop the performance of axial fans. Actually the axial fan is designed and manufactured in industry by imitation or traditional method. Flow velocity and volume of axial fan are changed by pitch angle, frame, the number of blade, camber angle, and chord length. In this paper, the performance of axial fan was analyzed and by computer program known as CFD. Finally, we have designed a new axial fan whose velocity and volume is improved. The performance of new axial fan is also compared with the of conventional fans experimentally.

In this paper, we proposed a three-dimensional(3D) scanning system based on laser vision technique for 3D model reconstruction. The proposed scanning system consists of line laser, camera, and turntable. We implemented the 3D scanning system using low quality elements. Although these are low quality elements, we reduced the 3D data reconstruction errors greatly using two methods. First, we developed a maximum brightness detection algorithm. This algorithm extracts the maximum brightness of the line laser to obtain the shape of the object. Second, we designed a new laser control device. This device helps to adjust the relative position of the turntable and line laser. These two methods greatly reduce the measuring noise. As a result, point cloud data can be obtained without complicated calculations.
